Imagine cities encircling the globe that would configure themselves to these fractals so that when one ventured into space one would have a home that is beautiful to come back to and live in for all aspects of existence:

The cities would be organized using molecular structure as blueprints so connected dome and spheriod shapes would be the norm.   Half house half oxygen producing, food producing greenhouse.  Creating a sustainable standard for food travel time.

One could incorporate plants and trees into every aspect of everyday life.  Fast food resaurants could have tropical gardens to eat in.  Homes again could also have tropical gardens.  All businesses would be required to have enough flora inside and outside to provide oxygen and air cleaning power to equalize the amount of pollution they were responsible for.

To solve problems of food shortage, pollution, and environmental degradation.

In the future, after gaining extensive knowledge of florae's gentic code and of "Biotechnology" one could create a seed foundation that would grow buildings.  One would genetically engineer the blueprint of the building within the foundation seed itself. The inside walls bark, within reach, could be a composite of cinnamon and eucalyptus, while the outside bark would be like dark green cactus.  A unified branch or large appropriately placed leaves would serve as a roof. If leaves served as a roof  they would be the width of a palm (about 2 feet) and length of a platano (about four feet long) overlapping each other so rain water could drain off.  One could also have hollow drainage trunks that allowed water to drain from the roof to the roots below.  The roots could be engineered in such a way as to "cup" liquid and nutrients to provide maximum absorption of said nutients.  The upper "trunk", "branches" and large leaves out of reach would contain dark rich evergreen aromatics such as; mint, basil, anise, and pine. One would "bio engineer" food producing plants into the makeup of the "tree house" to provide a nourishing liquid food source.   One could tap the photosynthetic energy production and focus it genetically into a liquid grain, legume, nut, seed, and fruit matrix that was available if one needed nourishment.  Using the genes of all the fruit and vegetables, aromatic herbs, plants and trees such as: baobab (for life span and girth), bristlecone pine (life span), and redwood (life span, height, insect resistance and fungal resistance), one would have a food and oxygen producing shelter that could live several thousand years and grow to functionality within the month using Kudzu dna which grows a foot a day or seawwed which grows two feet a day.

Plants and trees have beeen shown to grow better when they are talked to or music is played for them which proves a kind of consciousness. Perhaps if one quieted themselves and listened to the trees and spoke with the trees one would have an easier time "bioengineering" this kind of building in the future.

I propose a group willing to research this concept and a project to set the groundwork so this idea becomes reality.  I know it might take along time to get somthing like this into the works.  Hopefully, that much sooner with shared interest.  Thanks for your interest.

Corpreal mortification, flaggelation, and exercise all seem to be ways of causing the body phsyical discomfort.  I was once a runner, and now occasioanlly run,  although I mainly walk.  I once wondered why people would practice whipping themselves or causing other bodily discomfort to themselves, and I think I may have found an answer.  Physical comfort seems to have a counterpart of physical discomfort,  like Ying Yang in the Taoist tradition.   Where "God" is an "neutral force".  In Christianity flagellation and accompanying austerity and asecticism has been practiced since the medieval times and in the Hindu tradition since written linguistic history.  All in an effort to cause oneself physical discomfort to bring about a balance with physical comfort.
