Last night I, My Sis went to the Papa Roach and Kill Hannah concert at the Wedgewood Entertainment Center. It was fucking amazing. Papa Roach is amazing live. This is like my 4th time seeing them. Kill Hannah was really good. I liked them. It was my first time hearing their music. They had a local band go on before Kill Hannah their name was Relic. They were okay. Then Papa Roach came on and like I said they are amazing.
One thing that sucked about the concert is the waiting.  We got in line at 5:30. Was in line until about 6:40. The tickets said the concert starts at 7. Then the line started moving around 6:45. Then they made us wait on the deck. It was like 7 until got in the place. So that was okay and all. But then we had to wait until 8 for Relic to start. They need to get better people running these shows.

Slipknot / Stone Sour front-man Corey Taylor has confirmed that he had auditioned and was being considered as the front-man for Velvet Revolver after the departure of Scott Weiland.
-Taylor said, “I had a meeting with those guys , we did some demos together, and it just didn’t work — for whatever reason.”
-He added, “It was just really cool. It was one of those things where it’s like I could have got to jam with legends, man, in my opinion. But, you know, it was cool, and I still know those guys, I still hang out with them, and I still have nothing but respect.“

I got this email from live nation.

New State Sales Tax on Arts Threatens Pennsylvania Tour Sites!

Pennsylvania wants to charge sales tax on tickets for all live performances in theaters, concert halls and auditoriums statewide. The new tax, called the "Arts Tax," has promoters and top performing acts ready to drop Pennsylvania cities from their tours in favor of other states that don't impose a tax penalty for live performances.

Make no mistake: this proposed tax, which adds 6% to ticket prices statewide (8% in Philly and 7% in Pittsburgh), is a killer for live shows all over the state.

Top performers will choose not to come here, and when that happens, everybody loses - especially loyal fans like you. The politicians are set to act on the Arts Tax THIS WEEK because they think there is no oppisition to the tax. Without your help, the tax will become law. So please, Act Now to stop the Arts Tax.

Send an email to the politicians listed below:

jscarnati@pasen.gov; dpileggi@pasen.gov; jcorman@pasen.gov; kmccall@pahouse.net; teachus@pahouse.net; devans@hacd.net; mellow@pasenate.com; costa@pasenate.com; mkeller@pahousegop.com; lfarnese@pasenate.com; kitchen@pasenate.com; jwilliam@pahouse.net; dwhite@pasen.gov; dreed@pahousegop.com; pbrowne@pasen.gov; ferlo@pasenate.com; dlevdans@pahouse.net; jearll@pasen.gov; Fontana@pasenate.com; tkirklan@pahouse.net; parep160@aol.com; jwheatley@pahouse.net; fontana2@pasenate.com

Subject:
Kill the Arts Tax

Copy and paste the following text into the new email:

I buy tickets to live performances in Pennsylvania, and I strongly oppose the Arts Tax because it will cause top performing acts to eliminate Pennsylvania tour sites. I urge you to oppose the Arts Tax, which would add state sales tax to all ticket prices for live performance concerts and shows statewide. Keep It Live in Pennsylvania! Kill the Arts Tax instead!

Please do this! And share this blog with friends.

Korn have rejected former guitarist Brian “Head” Welch’s bid to rejoin the band.
James “Munky” Shaffer tells Attitude TV, “Brian actually contacted us recently and wanted to come back to the band. And it was not the right time… for us. We’re doing well, and it’s kind of like… It’s kind of like if you divorced your wife and she went on and she stayed successful and her career flourished, and you go back and (say), ‘My gosh, she’s still hot.’ ‘Baby, can we get back together?’ ‘Wait a minute… All the stuff’s been divided, and it’s like… I don’t see it happening right now. It’s not gonna happen right now.”
