F--k, man! This is a f--kin' hot story! Yes, I would love to read more, weaving Murphy into the group, mutually servicing me...I mean, Hank and Jerry. Murphy and Hank working out together in competition. Maybe showing off each other's physical abilities to make the other submit, the winner choosing to be the top or bottom. Jerry's making Murphy service him while Hank watches. Hooking the electrodes up to Murphy while Hank provides the power. OMG! What a chapter! It brings back memories from when I was in rehearsal for BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, with the Director and his lover, both of whom were into leather and motorcycles. Damn! That was fun! And boy! Was I lucky! The Director died of AIDS 4 years later. So, in all likelihood, he had it at the time, but we played safe. That was back in 1989, and I've always tested negative.

Why am I telling you this? Probably, because your last e-mail (shown below), somewhat more than your others, shows you to be a friend. I feel closer to you because of that. Thanks.

I'm trying to figure out what it is about your writing that I like so much. I'm not good at analyzing anything but characters in a play, but, dd, you truly seem to get in the heads of your characters, and particularly well into Tito's head. And he can get into everyone else's head in his organization. I like that. That's what makes a good CEO. You're deep -- not just your name, and not for what I assume is a favorite pasttime -- deep diving. But you're intuitive. Other authors describe the actions their characters perform; I get the feeling that you're describing the reasons WHY your characters' act the way they do. And I love it.

Enough of that -- I don't know what I'm talking about .

Anyway ... protégées is FEMININE plural, protégés is MASCULINE plural, and I don't think the two guys in bed with Tito are FEMININE, nor even effeminate. But you can never tell about les danseurs de ballet, n'est pas? That is SO stereotypical, I know!

It's like the difference between masseur (a guy) and masseuse (a gal), which brings me to an idea that I've had, that you MIGHT be able to use.

One of the best actors I ever worked with, did something I never knew anyone else to do, and he always did it the DAY of OPENING NIGHT performance. He took the day off from his employment, and did nothing but pamper himself all day, up until time to be at the theatre. He slept-in a couple hours longer than usual, would have a nice relaxing breakfast by the pool, then go rent a horse and ride a couple of hours, then go to a spa for facial, get a manicure and a pedicure, a good long soak in the sauna, and finally have a thorough FULL-BODY MASSAGE by an expensive, hunky masseur. Then off to the theatre, for pre-show warm-ups, then getting into costume and make-up, a group hug, and an outstandingly brilliant opening night performance!!! (I can just see Tito arranging this whole scenario for the three of them! Can't you? So many possibilities of erotic fun! And for a 'stress-free' performance from each!) It never failed him. Year after year, he won Best Actor awards for Drama, Comedy or Musical, and it's because he loved himself enough to give his very best to the audience.

Sorry guys.  My writing seems to be so poor that I fail to comunicate to you my warped sense of humor.   I will never stop writing my stories until they are finished.  So just relax on that point. 

While it is true, that I write for the intrinsic values of self expression.  I also love receiving responses from my readers.   Your comments in your emails and here in the blog gives me so much more energy to continue writing.

While I suppose it would be more noble to write for its own sake, I am just another broken individual who in his perversion delights in the apllause.  So please, don't take my threats seriously, and please don't stop applauding if what I write touches a cord within you.  If you have't sent me a message yet, why not?  I'd love to hear from you.

Dear Deepdiver,
First, I would like to ask you why you think that the majority should control your artistic endevors. If some people have a problem with your literary style or content, then they have the option to not click their mouse on your site.
I am going to presume that the religious part is the objectional part. Well, I am a christian but not Catholic, and I have some issues with the Catholic church but I still like your story line. The fact that these readers have issues, indicates to me that they wish to manipulate everything to their way of thinking. If you share the convictions of 'Ryan' , then you cannot possibly forego your writing. Do not let a few people with agendas control your actions.
Consider this, tell the objectors to go to hell (in a polite and 'here's why you are a moron way') and continue your writing. I suspect that nothing will happen.

Please do not stop writing. I anxiously await each update and I have thoroughly enjoyed your story. Master and Mate is both entertaining and addresses societal biases against gays, religion, marriage and children. I enjoy your stories please keep up the good work.
