Guess what I've gone and done? I stopped applying to PT schools for the most part and I've now decided I am going to serve a fulltime mission for my church. I'm hoping to leave sometime in May/June. I want to be back before the next year Christmas. Not necessarily because I want to have Christmas with my family but because it's good timing for reapplying to schools again. 18 months of fun and adventure!

My roommates have decided I'm going to be sent to Ghana so they've been teaching me Twi and Fente.  I'd dazzle you with my skills but I can't spell any of the words, just say them and even that is a stretch sometimes.

I've semi-worked out an educational plan since this is going to throw me off a bit. When I come back in December I'll still have time to apply to 1 or 2 PT schools so I'll try that but I doubt it'll fly. So I'm going to apply to BYU - Provo and get a second BS in Exercise Science. It should only take me an extra year to get it because Ive finished all the pre-reqs and such. So I'll be a Utard for awhile but then my application will be a lot more solid and I'll be able to apply to PT schools again with a lot better looking application and a much higher chance of being accepted.

However, this is all conditional on my not being accepted to DMU. If I am accepted to DMU I won't be going on a mission and I'll just go straight into PT school but I wouldn't count on it. But I'd be stoked if it did happen.

I climbed a mountain on Monday. White girls from Iowa should not be doing that kind of thing. But I made it to the top. End of that story.

I ordered a pizza. They said it would come in 1.5 hours. 20 minutes later Mr. Pizza Guy was at my door. I almost had a heart attack. I wasn't prepared.

..the senior year was commensed. most of my classes i am the only female. its a good time, i have no complaints . Wow, i never realized there were so many smileys, this makes me happy .

i have all new roommates. two are from ghana and one is from harlem, ny.   they are all so very nice so im stoked. i miss my alicen but ill get over it. .

i need more friends. i think im going to go around and just subscribe to random people so it will look like im popular.

Alicen installed a new soundcard in her computer and now it doesn't work. hahaha. It's great. Tonight is the last night Alicen and I will be able to stay up late together. I am pretty sad about that. Tomorrow night is our last night together .. but I have to actually sleep because I have to stay up all night on Thursday (since Im staying the night in the SLC Airport. Dont want to fall asleep and miss my flight).

I want to order some pizza but I lost my good coupon, and the only other good deals are carry-out. But it's quite a walk. ..sigh.. No pizza I suppose. Tomorrow I take my psych final and I am done with it for life. I could not be more excited to have the requirements for my minor to be done done done done done. I dislike psychology with a passion. I used to like it, but then I studied it and now I see the ...weirdness.. of it. It's so flippin' simple. If you study in Psych 111 you CANT fail any other psych class. It is redundancy at it's finest, and anyone who can stand 4 years of hearing the exact same thing, I commend them.

I can't see without my glasses and that makes me sad. I realized that today in wal-mart. I walked all the way to walmart not noticing I wasnt wearing my glasses because I wasn't trying to focus on anything. I get in there and try to find a certain phone card for my cell phone and realize I can't see crap. Boo..

I took the GRE yesterday, I am glad to have that over. I did very well, so I have no complaints. If God wants me to go to graduate school, it won't be my GRE scores that keep me out.   Life has been busy lately. Finals just got over for 1st summer block. Bah. I registered for Fall. It is going to be nice to be done with college when that day comes (april 2006!). Just gotta get through 2nd summer block, fall, and winter. Then I am home free. Off to graduate school, or whatever is in store for me. Who knows..

Nathan fixed my camera for me (that I broke at the sand dunes one night). I should get that back tonight which would be great. He is a magnanimous fellow.
