With all this talk of a possible Blur reunion, I did some googling of the band's multi-talented grammy award-winning adorable frontman, Damon Albarn. I found this clip of him singing one of my favorite songs, Waterloo Sunset, with Ray Davies, so I thought I'd post it.

I'm a fan of some of filmmaker Lukas Moodysson's films, specifically Together. I thought I'd share the trailer for his latest film, Mammoth, which has my interest peaked. It stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Michelle Williams and there are rumors it will have it's premiere at Sundance. The trailer doesn't tell too much but gives just enough of a taste. Check it, you'll see what I mean.

With all this talk about the auto bailout, I thought I'd post this segment that aired a few weeks back on The Colbert Report. Check it out. So funny.

The next Sam Mendes project, Revolutionary Road, will be hitting theaters at Christmas time. Based on Richard Yates' critically acclaimed book, the film reunites Titanic couple, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet (who is married to Mendes in real life) in a drama of a suburban proportions. Check out the trailer below. The trailer isn't wowing me, but there are so many talented ingredients in the mix, that I want to see this one.

If you're curious to get Mendes' take on the film, the Brooklyn Academy of Music is doing a special advance screening with Mendes present for a Q&A.

Rahm Emanuel had the pleasure of roasting Stephen Colbert at Friday night's Spina Bifida Charity Event.

The Huffington Post has a video and a bit of a transcript posted. The soon to be White House Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emanuel is pretty funny, who knew?

Check it out here.

I just saw a great film called Slumdog Millionaire. Directed by Danny "Trainspotting" Boyle and written by the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of The Full Monty, Simon Beaufoy, Slumdog Millionaire follows Jamal, a young man who's tragic meandering life, and love for a woman, has led him to be a contestant on the Indian version of the wildly popular TV game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. What makes this film really sing is the backdrop, Mumbai, the colorful home of Bollywood, shown in all its grit and glory. The film is based the book Q & A by Vikas Swarup.

Check out the trailer below.

The brilliant, Academy-Award nominated animator Don Hertzfeldt will be in New York in a couple weeks for the New York premiere of his newest film, I AM SO PROUD OF YOU.

So on the occasion of his upcoming visit, I decided to google video some of his earlier works which include Billy's Balloon, Ah L'Amour, and Rejected. Embeded below is a part of Rejected. So funny and twisted.
