SINGLE FRAME REMIX JOHN CARPENTER FOR HALLOWEEN

Single Frame take time out from writing their third
full-length record to get into the spirit of
Halloween. They have posted a remix of John
Carpenter's Halloween on their MySpace page, which
will be available through the end of the month.

"I'm obsessed with classic horror movies and
especially John Carpenter's take on them -- I couldn't
resist," says drummer and vocalist Adreon Henry who is
known around his Austin neighborhood for going to
great lengths to put on a show for the kids on
Halloween, "We always go way out to scare kids on
Halloween and this is a definite tool for that...or
for monster mashing."

hey this reid from volcoment posting for Single Frame who just left for Europe, here is a little info on what they are up to over there and where they are playing.

Single Frame are embark on their first European tour this weekend beginning in Germany at the Bright trade show in Frankfurt. Following Bright, Single Frame will play in Amsterdam, London, San Sebastian in Spain, and Hossegor in France.

In addition to the tour dates, Single Frame's Adreon Henry will be having two art shows. One in Hossegor, France at the Volcom store and one at the Bright Tradeshow in Germany. The artwork to be shown is based on the Bird/Beats drumhead series that can be seen on www.adreonhenry.com.

Speaking of foreign lands, the video for "Exact Copy of This In The Basement" (directed by Erik Horn and Gates Bradley of SuperAlright!) has been selected for the Edinburgh International Film Festival in Scotland.

Also one other note of interest is a mash up of Ghostland Observatory's Midnight Voyage with Ghostface Killahs Be Easy that is currently circulating the web (GorillaVsBear and VH1's Best Week Ever are loving it) was done by none of other than the DJ duo, Car Stereo (Wars), who just happens to be Adreon from Single Frame and Chris from SuperAlright! You can download it from their MySpace page, it's called Ghostface Observatory.
