Man we had Jenny Wood play at last nights open mic , and all I can say is everyone and I mean everyone should catch her free show this Friday the 13th at 10pm here at the Gypsy , she left everyone speachless , yes me, speechless, hard to picture that, right??    She is going cross country and promoting her music and has graced us with a free performance please come out and see her show. I promise you wont regret it. By the way we had a night of great artists , musicians and poets last night and it was magic , one of those nights I live for .. I had a guest mc and I still stayed downstairs for this line up, so thank you for all you who played , read , and sang for us, we were the lucky ones .. Friday 10pm Jenny Wood and then Saturday Art Burns Red 10pm check it out all free all the time .. Walk in Peace ...Bradley Rene'

Some ass who has never been into the Gypsy or bothered to even friend us, just reamed me a new one about our myspace page, said it was the worst page ever  and called me stupid WTF????? What do you say about some one like that, except bugger off and why dont you have a your settings so everyone can see your great page ??? Im so tired of those who never have anything good to say about anything or anyone , Im sorry your such an unhappy person you have to tear down someone else to build your self up . Thats all,  just letting off some steam.

 Wow what a night !!! We had poets , musicians, writers and rappers , just about every form of expression was here to be enjoyed at our 500th weekly open mic night last week. Everyone here got a ten year coffee mug to take home as a thank you for coming .Thats TEN years!!! No other coffee house in Tulsa can boast that . We have also had our FIFTH wedding in the Gypsy this year , good luck!!
 Its not often, that Im able to be so proud of what we have created here at the Gypsy. 500 open mics, with  a diverse collection of hosts starting with Michael, Captain , Jason , T-Bone , Chris , Drew, John, TC,   gosh there have been so many who gave of there time and hearts & souls into making this a reality. My limited memory keeps me from naming all of you. But to everyone involved , from the hosts to the talent, I just want to give you a sincere THANK YOU!!!!  Without people like you it would not have happened . Come and enjoy, lets make it another ten years .. B

Thanks for helping us make 10 years here in Tulsa !!!!!
To everyone who has helped us keep the doors open , who have enjoyed the raves , the weekly open mic nights , the free, all original music, on the weekends.
To everyone who has met here , started dating here and gotten married here and to those who did all that then broke up we love you and thank you !!! The Gypsy has changed over the years just like the customers and we will continue to as we go forward into the future. When we opened there were two coffee houses in Tulsa , now there are over 45 if you include all the instore Starbucks$$ and Nordassios. We have to fight for our market share now more than ever , so if your reading this please come visit the good ol Gypsy we are still here and still love you.. Namaste Bradley
