UPDATE: The auction has now ended. Thank you to everyone who bid!!

The auction is on! Starting right now you can bid on any one – or all – of the 11 beautiful dresses Sarah wore on her just-finished Recession-ista tour.

The auction will end on Monday, July 6, and all orders will be processed through eBay, with the proceeds going to the David Suzuki Foundation.

The starting bid for each dress is $100. Additional information can be found on each dress’s individual auction page, linked to from here.

Next Tuesday, June 30, we’ll be kicking off the much-anticipated Recession-ista dress auction! Once the auction starts you’ll be able to bid on each of the 11 beautiful dresses worn by Sarah on her Recession-ista Tour.

Each dress was lovingly made by local Toronto designers who used recycled material to create these eco-friendly and fabulous gowns.

The exact start time of the auction will be announced on Tuesday to our mailing list, along with links to each dress’s auction page.

Click here to check out all of the dresses, along with the profiles of the designers who made them.

The auction will run from June 30 to July 6, and you will need an eBay account to submit your bid.

The best part? All proceeds from this auction will be going to the David Suzuki Foundation.

The good people at Sonic Concerts have given us three pairs of tickets to give away for Sarah's Moncton, NB, show! The show takes place on June 25 at The Empress Theatre.

Our three winners will be chosen through a draw. To have your name entered into the draw, you must first answer the question below correctly.

Question: When the Recession-ista tour ends, Sarah will be auctioning off the dresses she wore while on tour. All of the proceeds from that auction will be going to a charity. What is the name of the charity?

Email your answer to help@SarahSlean.com, with the subject line "I want tickets to Moncton!" Make sure to also include your full name and phone number.

Our contest starts right now and submissions will be accepted until noon ADT, on June 22. Our winners will be emailed soon after that with more information. Each winner will receive one pair of tickets to the show. Transportation and accommodations are not included.

As you know, all pre-ordered copies of Black Flowers were autographed by Sarah and Andrew Burashko. Luckily, they signed a few extra copies of the album while they were signing the pre-ordered batch, and those extra CDs are now on sale in our Store!

It’s finally here! The Art of Time Ensemble featuring Sarah Slean, Black Flowers officially comes out today!

If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy already, you can pick up Black Flowers on CD or as a digital download through our Store. Currently, the digital version of this album is only available in Canada, but we’re hoping to change that soon.

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, at 5:05 p.m. EST on CBC Radio One's Bandwidth host Alan Neal dedicates his entire show to just two albums (they're that good!), and you can win both of them!
Sarah Slean and the Art Of Time's latest, Black Flowers, gets the lion's share of the program, as Sarah and Alan dissect in detail the cover songs she picked for this album, including songs by Cohen, Tielli, Harmer, Miles and more.
Then the Sunparlour Players join Alan to talk about their new CD "Wave North", about everything from the inspiration of farming and, uh, wooden dresses.
Listen carefully to the interviews, because there's a skill-testing question at the end of the show to win the two CDs!
