Unless a domain name is extremely simple (i.e. "Plumbers.com", "iPods.com", "dictionary.com", "cancer.com", etc), I cannot believe in basing the valuation on traffic you hope comes from directly typed-in traffic. This just fails the common-sense ROI estimation.
There are a number of cases where a visit to your website will not pass a REFERRER. This makes a lot of people incorrectly assume all of the traffic is from directly typed URLs. So, it's understandable people believe there's a higher value based on that.
Complex multi-word phrases are far, far less likely to be directly typed-in by internet users. Very few people are inclined to type "sanfranciscocardiologist.com", for instance.
HOWEVER, I believe there *is* value in registering those mult-term names for the purposes of SEO keyword optimization. Keywords within the domain name are quite valuable for ranking on MSN Live search, and a bit less valuable though still impactful on Yahoo! and Google.

There need to be games where the actual story changes with different characters for every new game. Take an RPG where the decision interaction between generals and nobles dictate political climates. Then, these trickle down to direct individual actions of the NPC AIs.

There have been so many things politicians try to get away with shoving down our throats which have been exposed so quickly. However, this has not prevented them from trying. Now, the people who learn this stuff immediately on the web are becoming an ever-growing, but still-small (way less than half the population) well-informed group. There's a huge gap between people trying to learn the truth and people who simply accept whatever they want to be true. The more lies out there, and the more people realize the lies, the more people decide to believe in whatever reality they like. For instance, no matter how much relentless corruption of the government is identified, my father has settled on the idea Republicans and Democrats are equally corrupt. This means he won't vote on corruption as an issue anymore. Basically, he has no faith in the reliability of any news source. He is busy with life, so he doesn't bother learning the truth. myspace hackstiny myspace layoutsTop 16 MyspaceMyspace Generatorsmyspace background codesWhen a variety of false "truths" (Kerry's flip-flops more than Bush, Gore invented the internet, WMD are in Iraq, there's a connection between Iraq and 9-11, etc.) are allowed to stick around on TV long after they are shown to be false, it decreases the credibility of any TV news. myspace background codefree myspace layout generatorfree myspace layoutstiny myspace layoutsMyspace layouts generatorThere is meaningful damage done to society each time the bar for truth and honesty in news reporting is lowered further. Yes, the internet has been great for getting news to some people. However, for most, it's still as hard to tell whether to trust little green footballs as it is to decide between Fox and some liberal network (if it existed).

To create an option, buyers assume a long position and writers a corresponding short position. Thus, call option writers are "short a call". They have the obligation to sell, to the holder. This holder is "long of a call option." They have the right to buy. ForwardBlog SourceFortune CityDramaticPut option writers are "on the short side of the position." The option style determines when the buyer exercises the option. This affects the valuation. Generally, the contract is either American, European, or Bermuda style. American allows exercise up to the expiration date. European allows exercise only on the expiration date. For Bermuda, it allows exercise on several, specific dates up to expiration. European contracts are the easiest to value. OK, for the non-techies, this is what happens when you let everyone use your DNS server to resolve domain names. Let's say, I'm a spammer. I use a hostname for spam, such as something.myspam.tld. Now, I query your DNS server to resolve the host something.myspam.tld. It resolves the host and stores the info in its cache. All future requests for that host do not result in propagated lookups. Instead, they are answered by the server from its cache. This happens until the exipration for the zone occurs. Next, I set your DNS server as the authoritative server for my zone, with the domain registrar. Then, I start sending spam. Now, you are screwed. From here, it looks as if your DNS server is being used for spam. There is nothing new about this. It's been like that for years. Myspace Backgrounds Free Software
