In my insomniac spell i came across this new footage, but it turns out it's just a test screen. It doesn't matter what it is really, it looks genius. If that's the test then the final product should be amazing right? WRONG the studio is apparently planning to reshoot the whole thing, and probably kick out Dave Eggers/Jonze screenplay too. YES THAT EGGERS! You Shall Know Our Velocity Eggers, Ghostrider Eggers. ok ok maybe not such a big fan of the ghostrider but the Velocity book is fantastic. another movie yet againg ruined. sigh just what i needed. screen test here : http://defamer.com/357717/where-the-wild-things-are-screen-test-captures-smell-of-childhood-in-a-bottle weezer-island in the sun. buenas

getting picked up at the ariport with a sign with my name on it has to be one of the coolest things that has happened to me. Mexico City is awesome, i never want to leave.
frida kahlo´s blue house in coyoacan and Diego and Frida`studio in San Angel was amazing, the food, the food, the food. Driving in an ginormous city, the piramids, Centro`s kids hospitality is unmatched, this is such an amazing place and i`ve only been here 3 days. Churros with Lechera(filling, any kind, chocolate, jam, caramel, the works) Churros, churros churros!!!! Im going to the Centro Historico(historical centre) tomorrow, and we leave to Tlachichilco, Veracruz on Sunday. Im really excited on the documentary project with the film kids from Mexico City we are working with, hopefully we get the best of it. im pretty sick right now, this cold is not cool, the weather changes so much, but still, everything is just wonderful

today was pretty funny and odd. i woke up sick and im going to bed sick, but its the middle fun that's not so bad. being at work didn't help, they crank up the ac and my nose got stuffier and stuffier. Met some cool people today at school. left accd went to eat to cha cha cha cafe(not to be confused with cha-cha lounge) with meghan, samanta and lilac. Ordering food was an experience all by it self. hung out for a while and yes im a little starstruck, whatever screw you im new in this town. Eva Longoria is sitting in the table across from us, and she's there with her entourage i guess. looking pretty and petite. then walk in these two dudes and its Earl Hickey and Frank Buffay Jr. phoebe's weird brother from friends. it was pretty cool because the place was really anti-hollywood. i like jason lee, and giovanni ribisi smiled at me. yes, i know im gushing. We left and headed to cha-cha loungue, first time for me. The place is decent, the music could be better but then again i didn't stay long. I had to leave because i lost my voice and here I am at home, with no voice and a stuffy nose. I hope tomorrow it gets better, work thera-flu work! i keep promising pictures but i never post any. so here are a few randoms

I realize that when ever I want to write a blog, i can never figure out how to start. So I'll start with an update, after months of just doing anything and alot of hanging out Im finally back in LA and in school, already I have a million things to do. I finally moved into a new place last sunday. I was sleeping in the living room of my cousins apartment, my back couldn't handle much more of the inflatable matress(wuss) Yesterday, I picked up Tricia at the greyhound station in Downtown, after that we went to the brite stop in echo park for a late lunch, then to my apartment and finally we drove to LAX. she's moving to Australia for a few months to work at the mexican embassy i'm so proud of her. we had a good discussion about guys, you know the day trippers. yeah yeah that song is mostly about drugs, but on the other hand it applies to people. good way to say goodbye. ahahaha With that said there isnt much left to write about,i'm really in to the beatles right now, can't say why, but i had not listened to them in ages. Got a job as a TA in the digital lab,i have to do alot of shooting, need new curtains for my bedroom, buy film, buy groceries, do laundry, replace the left headlight in my car, find models, blah blah blah. all in all im in a pretty good mood these days. this is why you do the handline process. damn

Current mood: bitchy
This weekend was a bit like a richter scale, blah/good/bad/GOOD/whatever/picking up/meh/then it got really bad. friday after work Eren and I went to the mall to exchange something and then drove home, we we're trying to beat border crossing traffic from the Us into Tijuana so we left early, alas the same shit as every fucking day it took us 45 min to cross ,i really wanted to go to the restroom, but where? uh? where when you are stuck in lanes with some other 200 cars of stressed out people. and not just any people. you got your trophy wife moms that just cross to go shopping and pick up the kids from school, the o so ever hard working labor force, who honestly have my respect but can drive for shit, and the usual prick with the big ass Ram pick up truck so big, that if they start cutting in your lane and you dont want to let them in, eventually you'll just get squashed so you kinda have to, the rest of the people i dont care enough to describe them so i wont. if it wasnt for Eren i would have shot myself, at least the conversation was good. All day was a big question mark, there was something going on at the casbah, honestly i dont think i would have considered going to until someone pointed it out, but no one wanted to go with me and of course i couldn't make up my mind,"you can't go by yourself, you driving back alone, blah blah blah" im kinda wishing i had. Fuck i think things trough too much. im not really blaming anyone, maybe next time, if there is a next time.
i suggest you stop reading this, its just incoherent pissy rambles. friday wasnt a total loss. dani, lety and i had some wine in the parking lot, before seeing buddy akkai at tentaculo bar. it was ok i danced and had fun, my feet hurt because of some new shoes, but ask me if i cared, no. saturday got my haircut and watched movies at Neto's house with Dani and Tricia, its too cold for going out and im freezing. Today i woke up with a shitty mood. the day was gorgeous, it rained on saturday so sunday morning was clear and the clouds were amazing, all white and poofy. i wanted to go outside and shoot someone, but who? who? everyone was partied out no one ever wants to wake up at then a do a shoot. and why the fuck do i keep making excuses for myself, i could have gone out, walked around and shoot. but no i stayed in all day. a whole day wasted. and its not so much the day. when i took the term off i planed things, about half of them have been done. at around 8 Dani, Angel and I went to a coffee shop on 9th. things picked up, good conversation, life etc. when i drop her off i get some news that just put me in such a shitty mood and i just cant shake it off. I don't really care for what she told me yet it caught me off guard. can you tell im pissy, im doing laundry tomorrow, fuck it im skipping work .

A lot has happened since last time i posted something, either i'm to lazy to post, or nothing really interesting happens. i'll pick the second one. well a few things did. Cursive played at the house of blues, on october 27, it was a good show, but i think i was more excited to see Eastern Youth, mouyonosuke was the only song i kinda knew well , it was funny getting stares from people, I guess not to many knew japanese. i've been staying in, or at least i'd like to think i am. going out doesnt appeal to me as much as it used to, i'd rather go to someone's house watch movies, or drink but not at a place where you have to scream to be heard, well if you know me, you know that that's just how i talk. Daniela is back from Europe so this is all about to change. Murder by Death also played San Diego last week. i had no clue who the other bands were and honestly didnt care. It was great meeting up with everyone, and i got to meet more interesting people.we hung out after the show, i kept trying to leave but no one would let me. im that cool. not. my only regret is that i didnt get to talk to Sara as much, sorry Dixie took all the attention :p, either way you guys are amazing i hope i get to see you more often in the future. I don't know whats up with me and people who live far away. i guess it could be an excuse to travel. i want to see almost famous right know, but cosette took it to vegas, i've yet to recover it.i guess ill just have to go all the way over there to get it. its scary when i get in to the nostalgic-movie-watching-phase. eternal sunshine, amelie and lost in translation are prohibited for a few weeks i really dont want to be in that state of mind, not for now at least. my car's at the mechanics, i'll be the one walking everywhere today. so if you would excuse me my camera and me have a date. p.s. set list from MBD show, thanks fro the list Adam. :)
