We all do really.
I've finally finished my 5 page strip for the wonderful charity comic of the aforementioned name. Done in a week (as well as holding down a 45 hours a week job) from concept, to layout, pencils to inks. Pretty balls to the wall stuff, but I'm pleased with a few panels of it. And it's for the environment, which is a fantastic cause.
If anyone's interested, it's set in a post-apocalyptic world where religions and technology have formed together into mass entities in the wake of a nuclear holocaust to combat the rise of magic. A second holocaust brought on by this conflict has turned the world into a burnt-out husk where magic and faith have been blown away- the air is unbreathable, the sky red and black- no life can survive without a containment suit.
Now only the strongest survive. Champions walk the earth to battle for the title of 'Aleph'- the number one.
The current Aleph has reached the site of the Deus Ex Machina and fought his way through The Guardians to reach the last treasure- the one thing in the world with any meaning or value. It is the last flower in the world. In this 'Saint Flower' resides the hope for the future- nature and the divine spark.
But Aleph has been followed. Outside the Factory-Church, the last of the world's champions have gathered together- all eager to win the prize of the title of Aleph and The Last Treasure...
(yep, it's essentially an excuse for me to draw some gas-masked dudes having a fight for a few pages!)
