Stealing Chump Change For Millions scheme was designed and implemented by Ami and Sarit Shafrir.  (A side note: Anthony Pellicano was employed by them.)  This scheme continues to go on even today without anyone realizing money is being stolen from their credit cards, telephone bills and checking accounts.  How is this being done?  The Shafrirs manage databases of consumers with account numbers and verifying information so that small charges can be hidden on the bill without detection.  Their software allows them to detect when someone notices a problem and contacts the company to dispute charges.  This event is rare because the amounts are negligible.  No one bothers to spend the time to inquire about small amounts such as $2.53.

This week, in a hearing regarding the Anthony Pellicano case, the government agreed to turn over all documents and discovery. 

I filed a motion to inform the Court, the government and the public of the extent of the theft of monies involved in the activities relating to the Pellicano indictment.

Tomorrow, my mother will be called upon to testify in the Hai Waknine trial.  The trial is taking place in downtown Los Angeles at:

US Courthouse - Criminal Division, 312 N. Spring Street at 8:30 AM

Waknine was indicted for extortion and multiple other charges.

You may be asking how Hai Waknine is related to the Anthony Pellicano matter?    I don't want to give too many details while his trial is on-going, however, you will be updated as soon as the jury reveals its decision. 

For some edification, I exposed the identity theft on unsuspecting consumers including the thousands who had refund checks issued but they were never sent.  Sarit Shafrir revealed this to her attorneys and me by disclosing it in a 36 page proffer which is interestingly enough....missing. 

Being that this case is international in scope, it is imperative that we get access to important information that ranges from Israel to the Cooke Islands to Europe.
