Hello! Come visit www.mirandajuly.com to see Miranda's installation, The Hallway, which you may have missed if you weren't in Yokohama last fall.

We hope everything is going well with everything, and keep it up! Even though sometimes it is nearly impossible.

We've had great luck in the past collaborating with MySpace friends and now we're trying it again. This time we're looking for two very important homes -- see below. Would you consider sharing your space with us?

Thanks for spreading the word, we await your response. Please email us at mjassistant@hotmail.com.

We're looking for....

1) A one or two bedroom apartment. Nothing fancy, but we're curious about your decorating style and the layout of the apartment. Here are some pictures for inspiration - it doesn't have to look just like this, but if you or your friend lives in L.A. in a place that's at all similar, send us the approximate location, and pictures of the place (and the outside of the building). We'll get back to you with all the exciting details.

2) A suburban-type home. This is a house with two or three bedrooms, a backyard, a quiet neighborhood. Not an old place with lots of charm! This place is not unique. It might be built in the 80s, it might be be very clean inside. It might belong to one of your relatives? Your parents? Think about it, and if you or anyone you know lives in a place like this, take some pictures of the interior/exterior and we'll write you back with the next step.

Thanks!

These are harrowing, inspirational days; I'm not sleeping well and neither is my friend Carrie Brownstein. So we got up, turned on the light and made a little website. Please share it.

I am not a very good drawer, so you know that I like someone a lot if they can get me to draw a picture. My Learning To Love You More collaborator, Harrell Fletcher, is the head of the new and radical Art and Social Practice program at Portland State University, and I happily drew a picture for his art auction benefiting the PSU art department. Luckily for all of us, I am just one of 100 artists who donated work. There's some very tempting stuff on there, by some of my favorite artists, including Dan Graham, Chris Johanson, Karen Yasinsky and Jim Drain (pictured below).
