[ This is not just for the audience who want to have fun and eat popcorn in the time of watching the movie ...
This is for everyone who watch a movie no matter what the reasons are ... ! ]
There are some small steps you can do to be sure if the movie is good :
1- The Title of the movie : The name and the meaning of the movie !!! ... Like
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? hhhhhhhh I mean what in hell this name is !????
in the same time not just the name can tell everything ...as for
The Dark Knight (2008)and of course
Black Knight (2001) ... almost the same name but one is a classic batman movie with
Heath Ledger that is one of the top movies ever with ratting of 8.8/10 ....
another is a comedy with
Martin Lawrence and ratting of 4.2/10 .
....
Here you must be aware for Animation movies because it mostly has been made for children that is why as much the name of the movie be funny as much as it be more comfortable for children like
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs .... or just
WALL·E (2008) ...
For these reasons and more you can't just decide by the name of the movie ...because most of the time the Title is used just to bring people interested in the movie and buy the tickets ... That is why you must be careful ...

2- The Poster of the movie : The Quality and The message of the poster !!! ...

3- The main Credit of the movie : Production Companies - Writer - Director - Actors/Actress - Cinematography - Special Effects - Visual Effects (CGI) .Who believe
Steven Spielberg can make a bad movie ? or
Woody Allen ? Christopher Nolan ? Peter Jackson ? Tom Hanks ?
Denzel Washington ?
Robin Williams ?
Brad Pitt ?
Charlize Theron ?
Hans Zimmer ?
Cate Blanchett ?
Andy Serkis ?
Ian McKellen ?
Hugo Weaving ?
I mean these names no matter Actors or directors or musicions are enough to understand that the movie is good ... because they are real artists and they are expensive ... and at least a movie with them will need a good budget and good story and and and ................ let's we don't forget they are clever too ;-)
or CGI and Make Up companies like
Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) ,
Weta Digital ,
Weta Workshop ,
Double Negative .... will make the movie look great ....
I will not speak about some cheap and old actors who come to Bulgaria to make movies ... or some new actors who want to make a career from making low budget movies in Bulgaria ... because they are out of question ...they will never make it and if you be on the top and shoot a movie in Bulgaria then you will go down bellow !!!!

4- The votes for the movie : How to understand the IMDb ratting ?Of course it depend on the movie if it is comedy or horror or action too ..but so far ... - Never trust a movie over just 500 votes :* 9/10 .... This doesn't mean you must believe it is a good movie !
Because remember at least 50% of the votes are people who worked in the movie and of course they gave 10/10 for the movie ;-) just to sell the movie and make money ...
*Less than 5/10 ...it doesn't mean it is bad because maybe most of the people who voted are hatting the director or the actors... from other companies ..
- Votes are between 1000-5000 :Less than 5/10 then the movie is bad ... this is true ..because most of the people who watched the movie are people from medias who review movies and make living upon their reviews ...and for sure they must have IMDb ...and of course they will vote 75% truly + people who really are big fan of movies and follow movies and that is why they gave time to enter IMDb and vote for the movie .
*Over 5/10 then the movie is good
*Over 7/10 then the movie is great .

Again the same for votes are 100 000 the movie Ratting is :* Less than 5/10 then it is bad movie ...
* Over 5/10 then it is good movie ....
* Over 7/10 then it is really good movie .
And as fast as it gets :
- If you watch any movie from the beginning to the end .. who have the rating of 3/10 then you are a big idiot if you watch that movie ... ! ( Not speaking about special cases to see and critic the crew for it or for publishing against that film ) .
*4/10 You are idiot but not that big idiot but still idiot ... ( Not speaking about special cases to see and critic the crew for it or for publishing against that film ) .
*5/10 then you have to risk it
*7/10 You must watch the movie ;-)

5- Reviews and interviews on the movie ! Read and understand what you will go and watch .... who is in it ...why this movie getting all this hype ? .... Is it remake or new movie ?

What if you couldn't do any of the 6 actions I wrote up ? How can you tell just from first 15 minutes of the movie if the movie is good or not ?
1- The look of the credit in the movie : How does the Title and the names must be viewed in the first 5 minutes of the movie !!!
2- Does the 15 first minutes of the movie make you still want to watch the movie ?
If not then it will not make it until the end of the movie too .
Use your imagination and see if you have enough time left from your life ;-)
