The Horrorpops are coming to Cleveland!Actually, they aren't my favorite. They are just okay. NOW this will suprise those who know me because I'm a wacky cartoon character like gogo girl on the weekends and they are Psychobilly which is what I listen too, now. But I think they try too hard. Way too hard. Way too mainstream. Way too not the Meteors or The Cramps. UPDATE: Reasons why I don't like the Horropops much 1. "Open up the door, Misfits on the Stereo-oh" I love the Misfits but how LAME But anyways, I still like them. They are good. I listen to them. MAIN POINT: For the show I'm dressing up. And when I say dressing up I mean UPUPUPUPUP! Poofy skirts, a dress, high heels...the whole deal. Like this! HereI know I won't be the ONLY one but it's still a little bit nerve wracking. So someone join me? I'll dress you up. The whole deal. Information From Agora

WARPED TOUR Best Concert of my LIFE? Possibly.
I mean, despite the fact that I thought the world was ending for a hot minute. No one will understand this. unless they were under the bridge when half ping pong ball sized hail started falling, people were covered in welts and lots of girls were crying. It was a mess. People in the tent or bathrooms were oblivious to how much the hail actually hurt. There was enough FREEZING cold water on the ground for a while to swim in. It was WILD. I loved the rain, not the hail, but it shortened Alkaline Trios' set which now makes me loath it.
I went with Alex, Shawn, Tony, Mike and Stacey. They were really great people to go with :D We were all separated a lot of the time, though. When the rain was intense I lost Stacey and Alex for what I'm sure was a solid hour and it was scary because literally everyone at Warped Tour was packed close into a tent, bathroom, or under the bridge. I had zero chance of finding them. The entire time the rain was going and things were falling and people were getting hurt I was by myself, looking for people I knew and being unsucessful, aside from the minute or two during which I said hi to Pat. But I found Stacey after and there was a touching reunion :D
They were giving out free monster and lost energy drinks and that pretty much made my LIFE.
I could write about every band forever, but lets hit main points.
1. Alkaline Trio was so amazing, I don't even know what to say. It was a religious experience. I couldn't have been happier. I crowd surfed to the front during Underoath and attached myself to the front rail so I was RIGHT UP CLOSE, as close as I could get. I hated to set list, I can't lie. I would have been satisfied if they played TWICE as many songs. They played two NEW songs which were really good plus Burn, We've Had Enough, I Was a Prayer and Old School Reasons. Did I forget any? Actually, those are some of my LEAST favorite songs :/ I was salty. Very few songs and songs that weren't, in my opinion, the best. BUT IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER. I SCREAMED all of the lyrics anyways. It was amazing. Indescribable. s;fjsdfgjsdglojf
I LOVE ALKALINE TRIO SOO MUCH.
If you have a problem with the fact that I haven't been listening to them since 1998, EAT ME.
2. TIGER ARMY WAS INSANE. I'm pretty sure that was the BEST pit I've ever been in. I loved the circle pits. The only problem was it was WAY too slippery and I was really nervous after almost slipping, so I couldn't give it my all. Set list was good though :] They played before the torrential rain/death, which means that it was SUPER hot.
3. Circa Survive was actually the first band we saw. I think Alex liked them? I'm not sure how I feel, but I LOVED the crowd. The Pit was good. It seems strange that there WAS a pit, but well, it was GREAT. I think I crowd surfed? Everything kinda runs together now actually, I'll ask Stacey.
4. If you know me, you know I HATE Paramore for personal reasons. (You think I don't know what you meant by it? Eat me.) BUT it seemed like it would be funny, I guess, to watch and get all fired up about it. So I did. And it WAS really fun. I Crowd surfed big time. :D
5. Underoath only is mentioned because I crowd surfed to the front to get to prime Alkaline Trio watching spot :D People dropped me because there was an overload of crowd surfers. It was intense. The Pit was wicked.
6. Blessthefall had the most intense Pit I've ever witnessed. I don't usually feel like I'm in danger, but there I did and I couldn't get away to just watch. I met my match, danger wise.
I crowd surfed more times, but I don't remember everything now. Stacey will help me remember.
Overall, it was sick. I crowdsurfed a TON and moshed a TON but less than usual because of my lame shoes with no tread.
I HAD SO MUCH FUN. And I wake up and it's my birthday :D Yay!

After Writing the blog below, I have been thinking about love and life quite a bit. I've made some decisions and think I know what I want in the short term. Long term, as you all know, I want to end suffering in Africa. I want: A body like this With an expression of my wild side like this: With sophistocated/dark hottness like this With a uniqueness like this: A higher sense of elegant sophistication like this: But most of all a love like this: How can I attain it? I can't. But I will try.
