Went to see Rent today, and HOLY FUCK. I cannot even piece together coherent thought to express how amazing it was. EDEN ESPINOSA. OH MY. WHAT. HOLY. AH. You do not even understand. I now officially adore this woman. She IS Maureen. Her Over the Moon pwns Idina's any day, so much funnier! I don't know any of the actors names so bare with me-
Roger: pretty good overall, there are some things he did that I loved and some things I hated. He reminded me of Adam Pascal in that they both have ridiculous and unnecessary vibrato, although his wasn't as bad as Pascal's generally is.
Collins: didn't love him, but then again, no one really compares to Jesse L. Martin. His I'll Cover You Reprise was kind of lacking, he didn't go all the way to the low notes and the last two lines of that song were delivered differently, in a way that I thought was a lot less effective.
Mark: he was okay, but really nothing more. In some parts he sounded kind of EXACTLY like Anthony Rapp.
Angel: HOLY JESUS, HE WAS AMAZING. Angel is my least favourite character in this show, and Today for You is my least favourite song, and I really enjoyed him, and I actually very much enjoyed this song. He is really incredible. I LOVE HIM.
Mimi: She isn't vocally amazing, she couldn't hit the high notes in Out Tonight, but I think she made up for it. Light My Candle is my second least favourite song in the show, and I really did enjoy it this time.
Joanne: oh, Tracie Thoms, how cute are you. She is so amazingly talented and just overall so amazing and there is no one I'd rather see as Joanne, ever. She just does everything so perfectly.
Benny: I found him pretty obnoxious, but he was okay.
Maureen: yes, I already talked about how amazing she was, but I don't think I'll ever be able to stop talking about how amazing she was, so I figured I'd talk about her again. She did this thing in La Vie Boheme in "on these nights when we celebrate the birth" that was just absolutely so hilarious. I got extravagantly happy with every Maureen scene and I never wanted her face to get off the screen. It was funny, cause the first time you see Maureen in the show, the people a few row in front of us yelled "Eden!" it was pretty cool. ;D She's pretty much the only reason I bought tickets to this thing in the first place, and oh my god, I am so glad I did. I want to watch this every day for the rest of my life. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD in December.

- no words can give justice to how much you mean to me and how much you've helped me. no words can explain how thankful i am to have you. somehow you manage to make me smile even on my worst days. my life would be a hell of a lot less interesting without you in it.

- i miss you, i really do. i value you so much and i'm so grateful i met you. you're one of the smartest and wisest people i know, and i really hope things get better for you.

- i haven't done a thing to you, but if you want to act like an immature idiot, go right ahead. and in all honesty- i don't give a shit if i ever see you or speak to you again. so really- be my guest- hate me. see if i care.

- you always know exactly what to say to make me feel better. you show me i'm loved and i'm not alone, and even though you often don't understand me, at least you try, and you never tell me i'm crazy or wrong for feeling the way i feel. thank you for introducing me to so many things. i love you so much and i hope i will get to see you soon.

- we've been getting closer, and i like that. i think we could be very good friends if we both just put a bit of effort in.

- i wish you hadn't gone so far away. i miss you.

- i miss you so much. you give the best hugs. i wish i saw you more often.

- you're one of the friends i value the most. i think you are so strong and i really respect that. you have the strength to see your flaws and you try your best to fix them, which is a quality i really admire. you're one of the most interesting people i know, and i will, i will figure you out.

- i have a feeling there is something you're hiding and i wish you trusted me enough to let me in about what that is. you're one of my favourite people right now. you're just so totally adorable and cool and funny and sweet, i just love you! i'm truly so so happy i know you.

- you have to realise not every girl you want is going to want you back. especially when you're that ugly.

- you are so funny! ah, i just love you. you too are one of my favourite people, and you too i am truly glad i met. i honestly don't know what i would do without you.

- i like what has become of this friendship. it's bee everywhere from amazing to complicated and weird, and i suppose it could have ended differently, but i think we both learnt from this and i'm not sure i'd change it even if i could.

- my opinions of you change too often. you can do really stupid things sometimes.

- i don't know what happened to us. we used to really like each other. we used to be great friends.

- you confuse me. you're such a complicated person, and one of the only ones i don't think i'd be able to figure out no matter how much i try. i do love you, and i do think you're a great friend, but there are some things about you that i just don't get.

- you're one of the smartest, funniest, nicest people i know. our friendship isn't exactly "affectionate" (i blame you! :P), and even though chances are that you will never see this, i wanted to say i love you!

- i wish i didn't think you hated me.

- i bet you don't even care that we never see each other anymore.

- you lie too much. stop it.

- i love you to pieces, kid. although i do think we have a very weird friendship.

- is it mean if i said i don't care that we don't speak anymore?

- you're such a funny kid and such a good friend. i love you so much. (:

- you're so much fun! you're one of my closest friends and thank goodness we met cause i would be a total basket case without you.

- i really do have a lot of respect for you. you have friends of every kind without caring what other people might think, and i don't even know if you realise how special that is.

- you are one of the most beautiful people i know, and also one of the most genuinely nice, sweet, friendly, and happy. you're really something special, kid.

- you are everything i wish i was.

- you are the only thing keeping me sane in this place.

- you're really, really amazing. you're so sweet and so smart. and you probably will read this, and you will probably have not even a remote clue that this is in reference to you, and i love that.

- you are one of the most fun and funny people i know. our opinions on things are so similar. you're so much fun to talk to, i love you lots!

i may have forgotten some people, in which case i'm sorry. D:
Wednesday, May 21, 2008

I've been wanting to do another one of these for quite a while, but never got around to it. so here it goes;

You drive me near insanity quite often but that's only because you're stubbornness gets in the way of my being able to help you get through the difficult things you've been dealing with. I wish you knew how much I genuinely care about your well being and I wish you would help me in helping you, because I'm determined to do so. On another note- you are so cute and pretty and I just love you. We have a special kind of understanding with each other that I've never had with anyone else before and I could not be happier that we've become friends.

You are one of the sweetest people I know and I just love talking to you. We share so many common interests that I really can't talk about with anyone else. Talking to you as frequently as I do is often the only thing that keeps me sane, and I thank you for that. <3

The lack of emotion you show is without a doubt a result of something in your past and I wish that whatever that is you'd resolve it if only enough to not be so robotic all the time. Although if you were more emotionally open, your entire personality will change because it has become so much of who you are. You are great to talk to about the ignorance of people and things in that general vicinity of topics, you have a lot of opinions and certainly don't hold back on sharing any of them- and I love that.

You are crazy in every sense of the word; sometimes too much so. It's obvious that you often exaggerate it to draw attention and I wish I knew why that was. Other than that you are great fun to spend time with and great fun to talk to.

You lie. You lie an insane amount and I have lost any faith I may have had in you. There is nothing I hate worst than lying just for the sake of it.

You're fun and crazy and so enjoyable to be around. You're one of those people who can so easily lift anyone's spirit, no matter how down they may be feeling. And you are one of the funniest people I know. :)

It took us a considerably short amount of time to become pretty good friends. I wish I could explain to you sufficiently how much you have, for the better, changed my life. You're a great friend, I'm glad I finally found someone like you. :)

I miss you more than you can understand. You are the single most beautiful person I know and such a great friend. You're so cute and smart and so much fun to be around. <3

One of the most photogenic people I know by a mile. I miss you insanely. We're growing to be more and more different and it scares me that we might grow completely apart because I love you too much to even imagine losing you.

You are the one who stayed the same while everything around you was changing and I thank you so much for that because it gave me a sort of solid and familiar thing to come back to.

I remember how beautiful you used to be, and not that you aren't now, because you are still quite stunning but I just remember as kids how I would look at you and wish I was pretty. I remember that "secrets" agreement we used to have. :) Oh, the good days. You're so sweet and one of the only ones I still feel comfortable around.

The thing I hate most in the whole world is what you are doing to me right now. I don't know what the deal is but it's really pissing me off.

I really am happy we started talking again, I do enjoy talking to you, and I like a lot the fact that you trust me.

You are just the cutest! And funniest. I love you and I miss you and I want to see you soon! <3

We don't talk much anymore..it makes me sad. You're awesome and we should hang out. Soon. And talk more often. (:

I'm pretty sure you are perfect, though you don't think so at all and would be sure I was out of my mind if you knew I thought this. I love you so much, my dear, and I miss you.

We get along quite well, which makes me wonder why we see each other as rarely as we do, but I guess we're just both kind of bad at the keeping-in-touch thing. I hope that can change.

I was sort of trying to avoid this one, though I'm not sure why. I'm just not really sure what to say to you because I care for you and our friendship so much, although we're not even that close. You're one of the people I will miss the most when this all ends and I really wish we're going to still talk.

There are some things you do that drive me to insanity, but that's not out of the norm especially considering how little it takes to drive me to insanity. But if there is one good thing that hell of a class did, it was introduce me to you, as you have become one of my good friends and my life without you would be considerably duller.

I am so glad we've become friends- you are utterly adorable. You're just one of those people that I'm so glad I met because you make my life so much more interesting and fun. (:

You are the only reason that trip this summer will be worth it, cause I really don't want to go. I look forward to seeing you both and I miss you so so much. <3

You are one of the funniest, coolest, nicest people I have ever met. You keep me sane. Really. Without you every day would be miserable from 10:44 to 12:14. And yeah, that gives away who this is to, but you won't read this anyway. :P

I love you. A lot.

I miss you! I really do. I never see you anymore :( you kept me sane through those 4 hours of hell every year, you're just so naturally entertaining and funny. :)

New York really is the greatest city on Earth and every time I go there I realise more and more that this is truly the place I belong.

Day one-
Breakfast at Lyric Diner.

Barnes & Noble 5th Avenue. aka MY Barnes & Noble. aka location to Felicity Huffman’s book signing.

Then we found out Helen Mirren was having a book signing at exactly the time we arrived at the store.

And even though the line was closed, we got in cause we’ve got connections :D so we were standing at the line, and sitting by MY window, aka where i sat for a few hours waiting for the Huffman signing to begin.

And then we met her :)

Then we went to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which was quite pretty.

Then Rockefeller Center and NBC Universal.

East Village. Dinner at Sal Anthony’s with Keith.

Day two-
I was cold so we went to Forever 21 and bought winter coats :D then we went to Strand Bookstore, which is hugenormous.

Barnes & Noble at Union Square. Most beautiful place in existance.

Virgin Megastore.

Times Square. M&M Store, in which i bought $13 worth of peanut M&Ms in all colours:)

China Town for lunch at WoHop. Little Italy to meet Erica! <33

Day three- (from which I don’t think I have any photographs)
TKTS on 46th and Broadway. Photography museum. Met Erica. Grease. Took the train with Erica. Harlem for dinner at Patsy’s.

Day four-
Museum of Natural History.

Strawberry Fields.

Central Park.

Betsey Johnson.

Serendipity, in which they serve volumous amounts of ice cream. ;)

Then LaGuardia. Goodbye NYC. :(

Not that elaborate a blog post, but I’m tired. Maybe later.

"I wrestle alone in the dark, in the deep dark, and only I can know..only I can understand my own condition. You live with the threat, you tell me, you live with the threat of my extinction. I live with it too."
oh, gorgeous. The Hours is a beautifully sad movie. <3

SATs are death.

Raw food diet is sweeeeeet. I was on it for 5 days but broke it today cause i just can't stand vegetables anymore. i'll get back on it monday, though to try to last a whole week. i really wish i loved vegetables and fruit.

Myspace is lame. get a facebook.
Which is also lame, but a lot less.
That means you, Collette WoJoLo.

Dateline is the best show ever. I love watching the missing persons/unsolved murder mysteries stuff. Of course, it's very sad that these people are missing or dead, but it's quite fascinating to watch.

I am so tired.

I really need at least a B on my trig quiz on monday. I should probably get on that..

This was a very random blog.
I don't even like using the blog. or the word 'blog'. it's stupid.

Stephen Colbert is a sarcasm genius.
James McAvoy is my husband.
He is beautiful and Brina is wrong because she has a bad taste in men.
And shut up, he does look exactly like West in that one picture.
And they both have gorgeous blue eyes.
Except McAvoy's are prettier because he's Scottish.
I do not know what the gorgeousness of his eyes has to do with the gorgeousness of his accent but i'm blaming that on a combination of lack of sleep, enormous amounts of stress, and lack of any normal food for the past 5 days.
I guess the accent and the eyes are what tie together the beautiful package that is James McAvoy.

Have a fantastical weekend friends.
<3

i got everything but "best supporting actress" right, and really, honestly, she was my second guess. No Country for Old Men was ridiculously obvious for "best picture", and Daniel Day-Louis was obviously going to win best actor. and Juno got "best origional screenplay"! yay Diablo Cody! :) :)
Monday, February 25, 2008

So I was wrong about Ruby Dee, but to my defense Tilda Swinton was my second prediction. Though I do still think Cate Blanchett should have gotten it. And I was right about Javier Bardem! But that one was fairly obvious.. The rest of my opinions coming up later/tomorrow morning. Not that anyone will read this, but anyway.. xD
