We're sliding in the ranks over at www.soundtrack.mtv.com. We've fallen to #33 and will likely fall by several more positions this week. The Band I Love Is...

It seems a fair exchange: We tell you about great music; you tell us
about great music. One downside, though, is this: The music, email and
Facebook messages you send me aren't seen or heard by others. And if I
don't put it on the show, then it stays your secret.

Let's fix this right here, right now. Here's the plan.

I want you to tell me and everyone else about the musician or band you
absolutely love. I don't want to hear about your band, or your brother's
band, or the bar band down the street. I want you to turn me and the
readers of this blog on to the best music nobody knows about. That
secret band you might have. I like to think of it as a band to call your
own, only now you're about to let a few more friends in on the secret.

called Tell Us Your Music Discoveries (March 31, 2009). I recommended
Admiral Twin (of course) and I invite you all to sign in and click on

Don't forget to vote for us at soundtrack.MTV.com. The further up their charts we move, the more chances we have to get airplay on MTV shows like The Hills, The City, Real World, etc. etc. We've been climbing steadily and currently we're at #63...although we got as high as #60 recently before dropping a few slots. Competition over there has REALLY become fierce in the last few days...we could sure use your votes.

And cookies...we could sure use some cookies too. But votes are still more important.

Happy holidays everyone! Hope no one got a lump of coal in their stockings this Christmas.

We're in the quarterfinals competition with our song "In My Veins" (Modern Rock category), and our cover of "Carol of the Bells" (Holiday category).
