A couple of years ago I was in Las Vegas visiting relatives and we watched this parade in their neighborhood. I filmed it and set it to my song "Better Year" from Faultline. I thought it would make sense to put it up today.

Canadian singer-songwriter Adrienne Pierce has just released the second in her series of seasonal EPs. After last year’s Winter comes the Spring EP, four new songs recorded live and (mostly) acoustic, with the addition of organ and a purring cat. There’s one more to come – the Fall EP – but the focus at the moment is finishing off her upcoming self-released full-length Oh Deer. Recording has been completed, and Adrienne is now trying to raise the cash to finish off the mixing and then to master and manufacture it for release. She’s adopted the gift strata that’s becoming increasingly popular, with plenty of rarities to entice. She’s calling it the FAwN Club (cute), and a $30 (US, not CA!) membership will get you a digital copy of the Spring EP now, a signed physical copy ofOh Deer before it’s released, a digital copy of the first single before it’s released, a FAwN Club t-shirt handmade by Adrienne, access to exclusive content and various competitions to win music and merchandise.
Of the two higher-end packages, the first three people to donate $100 will get you all the benefits of a FAwN Club membership, an out-of-print T-shirt and signed copies of her entire discography, while for an extra $50, two donors will get all that plus a long out-of-print EP and a copy of the tennis-themed short film ‘30-LOVE’, made by Allison Beda and narrated by Adrienne. You can find all this info and more, including details on how to order the packages, on Adrienne’s website

Weekly La Scene

There is a little blurb in the Weekly LA Scene about the show tonight at Bang!

I think it is going to be fun. I am looking forward to seeing all the mom-ologues.
