Hey everyone!! So we're really excited about our new track "Ready To Love" and want everyone to make signs for us to promote the new track. We'll pick the best and put them in our fan album for everyone to see. We'll also have some prizes for everyone!
To enter the contest:
1. Listen to our new song "Ready To Love" and check out the lyircs by clicking inside the player. There's a great lyric that goes "I'm in love with a scenegirl / She gives me X's and O O O's / I'm in love with a SOULJA BOY / He tells me super-super soak that HO!" Read the rest of the lyrics here.
2. Make a picture or video of you doing something creative to promote our new song, like drawing a sign or using a sharpie to color yourself being READY TO LOVE! LOL, anything goes as long as we can SEE our song name and/or lyrics in your picture or video! A video will instantly get you more CRED from us and if you want to do both, you'll get ever more props from us and are more likely to win!
3. Promote us by putting us in our top friends, adding our song to your player, posting a status update / bulletin to check our song out or display our banner (coming soon!). If you add "Ready To Love" next to your name we will definitely throw you up in our TOP FRIENDS.
5. Post your image or video on this blog or send it to us at info@aerodrone.com and we'll put it up! We will judge all photos based on creativity and effort, and we prefer REAL over PHOTOSHOP =)
FIRST PLACE: Get our old white jackets that we wore last year to promote SCENEBOY! Plus get Aerodrone Nintendo Cartridge with a CD inside and a TSHIRT! Plus get guestlist passes to future Aerodrone shows and meet the band if we're in your area =)

We will be playing South By Southwest this March in Austin, TX and eating amazing BBQ in Saltlick in Driftwood, TX. We will also be on tour with our good friends The Anix and APOPTYGMA BERZERK to get to Austin. Holla at us everyone!!

We're in 2010 now and have some news for everyone! As you can see, we've revamped our layout and have put up the new song "Ready To Love" mixed by Mark Needham of The Killers / InnerParty System fame.
Also, we'd like to welcome our longtime drummer to the team as our official guitar player! Joel, aka J.A., will be taking over guitar duties and is currently recording new songs for the "Ready To Love" EP. JA has been with us since 2008 now and we are happy to welcome him in our new profile. Say hi by posting to his Myspace page right here.
In the meantime, you can meet all of us this March as we will making a trip to Texas for South By Southwest and BBQ.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Kevin, our guitar player who's been in the band since its inception, is no longer a member of Aerodrone and has parted ways to pursue his law career in the music industry. We wish him all the best in helping other musicians fight for their rights and hard work. Unfortunately, he failed to do so for us at our Portland NACA Showcase this past weekend and... lesson learned!
In other news, we will be releasing a new EP this next year featuring new songs, including the hit single "Ready To Love" produced by Mark Needham as well as a few other surprises, like remixes, other new songs and more goodies. Yay, we're excited!
Finally, we will be playing two shows this month, one at The Echo in LA this Monday the 16th (FREE / ALL AGES) and San Diego Saturday the 28th with Electric Valentine. Ryan Porter who has played for Aerodrone before will be filling in for guitar for the shows. Come out and support us please, we need all the help we can get right now. Anyone who MSGS us in advance and lets us know that they're coming will get FREE merch and a special NES cartridge featuring AERODRONE!

Attention to our fans in Portland! Our song Hold Me Like A Microphone is going to be played on 94/7 FM tomorrow (that's Wednesday) so tune in! It should be sometime around the evening time.
