Remy Salazard
SALAZARD Remy, 18, took the train on 8 August 1989 to go in Anglet on the Basque coast, in France, for a camping holiday. He was never seen again by his family. His mother is fighting to have his case re-opened.

Was down in Cork again at the weekend gone. I plan on being there every weekend for a while :-) The weekend gone turned out pretty amazing. Cork Pride was on, even took part in the short parade. It's a great place to go.
Noteworthy club was Rubys (http://www.bebo.com/RubysN7) (the dreaded 80 europop was playing, but it's a v well managed clean club, will go again). They need better drag though.
Flux Bar (http://www.fluxcork.com/) I like.
Laofers Bar (http://www.bebo.com/loaferscork) has a pretty big beer garden that needs to be developed.
The Long Island on Washington Street - the best cocktail bar ( and plays club ambient tunes) in Ireland.
And for a morning coffee anytime of the day the best bar is Scotts. Again great team work there. http://www.scotts.ie/

Monday gone was another surprise with one of the greatest kids (lol) in Cork deciding to run the full Cork City marathon with no training! Have to say was v impressed. The other week he decided to go on a 100 km bike ride, and  made to keep up with Tour de France champion Stephen Roache ! :-)

Am back in Dublin... til the weekend... then back in Cork. Met some folk hadn't seen in awhile. Even someone who dissappeared for awhile. Turned out he was in hospital in Prague with doctors wanting to stick a pacemaker in him. He's only 26! Ahh Cork's great :-)

My Mum has gone into a hospice.
Her cancer has come back and she's not strong enought for Chemo. She had Radiation but since has'nt been able to eat (for the past month). The pic is one I took the Sunday below she started the latest course of Radiation. We were waiting on my devoted step dad. They were giving me a lift to the train staion.
