So as many of you know I love to find interesting and awesome videos on YouTube and I most them to this log through the year. So here are my top picks from 2008. Thrillbillies - This was actually part of my long running series "When white trash takes to the air" but I swear I watch this every time I want to feel some ROCK and what these guys have done here does rock! Where the Hell is Matt? I know this is older than 2008, but thats when I found it and man, this video just made me smile. Its simple and beautiful. Man Stroke Woman - Jesus Christ! Do yourself a favor and search that name on YouTube! You will laugh! Cigar Box Blues - So... You take a old cigar box, I 1x2" piece of pine and about six bucks of stuff from Radio Shack and you have this awesome-ness! Amateur - This is video mixing at its finest! Ronald Jenkees - No, he's not "special" he's just VERY good at jamming on his keyoard and a little awkward. But this is a great jam! Micheal Bay - Awesome! My only commercial this year, but its funny and great to see someone make fun of them selves.

Ok, first this preview is NSFW so click it at home. But HOLY FCK-CAKES this movie looks AWESOME! From JoBlo website - "In recent years, numerous filmmakers have spent substantial time and money in attempts to emulate a lot of the memorably crappy exploitation movies of the 60s and 70s, to varying degrees of success. But hot damn, does the blaxploitation spoof BLACK DYNAMITE look like it hits the target with some pitch perfect parody. It's got Michael Jai White (SPAWN himself!) as a pistol-packin', multiple lady-lovin', afro-havin', kung fu fightin' badass tackling inner-city drug dealers. If you don't get at least a few chuckles from the trailer, you obviously don't have an appreciation for bad movies (intentional or otherwise)." Link - http://twitchfilm.net/site/view/parody-done-right-black-dynamite-new-trailer/PS - This is the first of my MySpace only blogs, I just posted a blog about the show Heroes here, check it!

So this is the desk... Did you know Truman banged so many secretary's on this that they call it a "Secretary's desk"? I never got to... Bummer really. You check out Veronica? The blond... Yeah, Ol' Clinton messed that up fro me. The Secret Service guys dont do the "Code JFK" thing anymore... So you have to use Camp David. But what sucks about that is your wife always wants to come along.. So yeah... Damn! Veronica's a hottie huh? Yep! So... Uh, here's the phone. It's bugged. I don't know what else to tell you about that. Over here behind this painting is all that Area 51 crap. Notes and pictures of them things they found. Makes ya want to puke when you look at it. Like a dead Armadillo crossed with a train wreck. Don't worry about them showing up here though, Linden Johnson convinced them we worship cows so they spend most of their time slaughtering them. There's a shotgun hidden in this panel here.. Teddy had that installed. Its loaded and ready. Have fun... So, uh.. You git calls every once and a while.. Just ignore them, after the second year they take a hint. I always thought there was a red button in here. There's not.. Kinda sucks. You know, you just want to look at it sometimes and say "Blam-OOOO!" So, yeah.. Dont know where that is... I think Dick does. He is always smiling at something. Wednesdays are Starbucks day. Anything you want. Thats pretty cool right? Yeah... Here's the bathroom key. They say its haunted by Lincoln's wife... I dont know but they have the good toilet paper here you know the kind with the ridges. So thats it... I guess walk around.. Time clock is on the wall in the hall and you probably need to go down to accounting to fill out paper work.. If you get a chance try and follow Veronica around a bit... That ass could crack walnuts.

My fiance is AWESOME! (As if there was any doubt.) In September I was feeling pretty homesick and was sad becuase I was going to miss John Masier in "The Producers".. So Amanda found some cheap tickets for me to come out!
Well, being the devious little Badger that I am I wanted to surprise my Mom and John.
I called both of them from the Obama Rally (One becuase it was cool and two to establish that I was in Chicago and not going to be able to see shows etc.) then got up the next morning at 4am and jumped a plane to Fresno. my first stop was my mom's place. Of course my plan to call her and tell her I was walking the dog in Chicago then knock on her door fell apart as soon as I got there! She was not at home and her cell phone was off, so I decided to head over to Pep Boys and get a new key cut (Jeff loaned me a car but the key is jacked up) when I got to Pep Boys what do I see but my mom's car in one of the bays! So I walk in and sure enough there she is at the counter. I walk up right behind her and say "So.. Whats wrond with the Ford?" she just jumped out of her skin! YAY!
So then I crashed hard (I had only about 2 house of sleep after all) and after 11 hours of sleep I worked from my moms place and then went to see John's show. I made a card that had my tattoo in the middle and said
"I flew 2146 miles just to see your show. So try and keep the SUCK-AGE to a minimum OK? Thanks!"
I'm an ass... The show was AWESOME! John plays the Nazi "Franz" and just nails it. Pete and Darren as Balystock and Bloom where a perfect team and Suza as the director was a great treat!
Tonight I am going to see Rocky Horror. Jeff and Eric are both in it and then drinks! If you are in Fresno then come out I imagine we will be at Stones...

I don't think I have ever been this stressed about an election. I usually look at it as a fun kind of "Blow out the pipes and ring in the new" type of deal. But after two years of campaigning, eight years of taking the country back forty years and these last four weeks my heart is tired. It feels like the world is right there with me. Everyone is tired... When has this happened before? Not only may see in our lifetimes the breaking of "The old school" and elect our first black president. (I honestly am starting to tear up as I write this.) But we may break the idea that you have to be a part of the "Washington elite" to get elected to our highest office. If Obama wins it could be a whole new chapter for our country. An end to the world that Reagan gave us. Maybe a new direction we never dared hope for. The world could change Tuesday... Dear God I hope it does. Go get it Mr. Obama! Bring us on home...

So the crew (Sarah, Bryan, Amanda and yours Badger-ly) did not really have any set plans for the costume holiday known as "What the fuck is in my house that will make me look like a Sexy Robot?" or more simply Halloween. That is until a new improv friend of mine Chris O'Biddle stepped up and said "Hey, you guys want to come see the 1968 version of The Dawn of the Dead at the Biograph Theater where I work? Its an employee only affair but I can get you in." SA-WEET! Turns out the Biograph was the theater where John Dilliger was shot. So know with a plan in hand we went about getting costumes. I happend to have a Mexican Wrestler mask laying about which I loand to Bryan and to which he added a VERY snazy $6 suit from the thrift store. Amanda and Sarah had black cloaks that were from Sarahs wedding so they did "Sexy Vampires" and I put together a type of "Sky Captain and the world of tomarrow" type costume complete with Steampunk ray gun. The first thing I noticed when we went to the L train was that there were a TON of adults walik around in costumes. Some good, some bad.. In LA you just dont see a lot of that but I know that people dress up there as well.. Then it occured to me that people in LA dress up.. Get into their car and go to a party then go home. Here we had a whole train full of people in costumes! It was pretty awesome. Then we got to the theater and met up with Chris and he told up to go on into the theater and make ourselves comfy. When we got in there they were showing old Grind House trailers that were WONDERFULL in the badness and nudity! YAY! Then did a small costume contest (non of us won but no biggie) and we watched the movie. It was kind of like MST3K in that people were making comments and joking around. The girls were not into it but I had fun. I actually liked the movie and was surprised by its social commentay that is still kind or relevant today. Who knew!? Then after the show we went to a party but got there at like 1:30am so it was just a few people sitting on the back steps smoking... So on to home but before we went to bed we ate at the greasy Mexican place buy our apartments and then went to bed. All and all a good Holloween.

I love Wikipedia... I will be the first to admit it. I know there are people that scoff at its accuracy but I love just getting lost in the thing. For example I look up Mothra and then find myself reading about "Voiced dental fricative" that then has me reading about "Welsh language" which then leads me to a "Welsh settlement in Argentina" who knew? But then again I will be searching for something on the net and a wiki will come up... So here are some things that I think dont need a wiki but god bless the fact that there is one!
