Catch the final Florida performances of 'A Love Lost Life- The Unauthorized Story of Marlon Brando' at Miami Beach's Colony Theater 1040 Lincoln Rd. These five shows will be the last performances in the state of Florida for a loooong time.

The show then heads to Libertyville, Illinois, Marlon's hometown, this July to commemorate the 5th anniversary of his death admist 'Brando Fest'. A festival centered around 'A Love Lost Life' where films of his will be screened, a gala fundraiser to renovate Marlon's old high school and turn it into a community center, live music, and of course performances of 'ALLL'.

The show will then move to the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts 777 N Green St. for a five-week run September - October. Then, if all goes as planned a substantial run at an off-Broadway venue. This has yet to be made official so I will not say where just yet!

To see the shows at the Colony Theater Miami Beach this April call ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or visit www.ticketmaster.com/venueartist/106597/1300640  There are senior, student, and advanced ticketing discounts available!

"I could not keep my eyes off the stage. A Love Lost Life displayed intense scenes and emotional moments. A real life story of not only an amazing man but of his family and life."

Christine Borrack (WRPB Radio)

" Barnes is clearly onto something stage worthy with the Brando family melodrama, and his research efforts are evident..."
--Hap Erstein (Palm Beach Post) B-

'"A Love Lost Life" is a beautiful show, in every aspect: a beautifully written, intelligent script, acting that is strong and subtle, clear, concise direction. I was blown away from beginning to end, and when it ended, I didn't want it to! An absolute jewel, and congratulations to the uniformly brilliant actors, to the playwright for taking a bold, new approach to an actor (Brando) so that we see him with new eyes, and to the director. A must-see show.'
--Mia Paschal (This Lili Was Fontana)

"I was very pleased to catch this brilliant insight - not just into Marlon Brando, but also into fatherhood (being a new dad). Fantastically written and the commitment in the roles is wonderful. I am not one to be emotionally moved easily - but the final 5 minutes took me to a place where I appreciated I had arrived. Don't miss!"
--Thatcher Wiliiams (Theater for a Change-Des Moines, IA)

"...This is Brando's story, after all, in all its bleakness and faded glory. His life might be too much for any single documentary or play, but the loose framework of his children's failures gives it just enough focus."
                             --Tod Caviness (Orlando Sentinel)

"...This is good and interesting material, ably acted and deftly presented, without flourishes or gimmicks, in a very intimate way that makes each audience member feel as though he or she is being privately taken into confidence...This touching little drama is definitetly worth seeing."
--Michael Wanzie (Wanzie.com, 104.1 REAL Radio)

"Rob Ashkenas delivers a spot on Brando that transcends mere impersonation, and writer/actor David Barnes gives a chilling performance in this tightly crafted insightful drama. A MUST SEE!!"
                            --Frank McClain (Orlando Opera Company)

"'A Love Lost Life' was truly one of the highlights of this years Orlando Fringe. David {Barnes} shows us his considerable acting prowess in this tour de force performance. A Very thought provoking and sensitive portrayal of an American Icon. KUDOS!"
