I've always enjoyed creating art in a variety of formats, and I've always thought that someone should find their style and stick their art around that. After years of creating art in different mediums, I'm now really getting into making art with Photoshop from my photos, and I've found my style. Personally, my style is very film noir, very Sin City. For me, it's all about the black and white pictures with a hint of one or a couple of colours, depending on the picture. This weekend, I made a few 'arthouse' pictures (that's the term I like to use to refer to my designs) and I thought I'd post snippets of them here along with the originals from this weekend's trip to Brighton. You'll have to let me know what you think. Oh, and if you want to see the larger ones, well, they're reserved for my FaceBook friends, but if you're clever, you'll know how to find them (or me) on there The Beach Walk Burnt Pier Crazy Sunset Reflections String Of All Colours The Bike

It's been another one of those weekends, though this time, I did what I thought I was going to do - sort of! This Saturday saw me and Roz trek down to sunny Brighton for a day by the sea, and what a lovely day to pick for it. The weather was just glorious as you'll be able to see in the following photographs. I even managed to break out my sunglasses which pleased me immensely. Anyway, we got up "brighton" early (sorry) on Saturday morning and caught the train down to Brighton. We hadn't eaten before we got there, so on arrival we went to the always famous Harry Ramsdon's chippy and got some haddock specials before deciding what to do. We'd originally intended to go down to the marina where they have a golf course and do the front nine, but on the way down there we saw an Adventure Golf course and decided to do that instead, and I have to admit, I think that was a lot more fun that doing a full sized course, especially considering how bad I was. Roz gave me a real thrashing, but I insist that I let her win *ahem*. Once we'd done there, we decided to optimise on the 2-for-1 ticket that we'd had from the chip shop and go to the SeaLife Center, and I'm glad we did - it was great. My new favourite animal is the turtle after seeing the Giant Green Turtle that they had there. It was astonishing and a really beautiful creature. It was odd to see a turtle swamping a shark for size though. You can see what I mean from the videos. I've also decided now that I want to keep turtles, just two though, so I'm going to look into exactly what I'd need - obviously I'll keep you updated with that. Also, despite being a little weirded out by a spider crab, I faced my fear of it and held one as you can see in the pictures. Later on, we saw some that were a good meter across. I didn't like them in the slightest. It's the long legs that I don't like. They're too spider-like, though a lot bigger. There's one Japanese crab that grows up to 3.2 meters long. If I saw one of those I'm pretty sure I would actually crap myself as I sprinted over the horizon. After treking around there for a while, we left after witnessing possibly the scariest sailor in the world (see the video below) and went for another round of golf on a different crazy golf course before taking some photos and finally leaving when the weather turned on us. When we got back to London, we head back to my flat and had a chillout evening munching on pizza and I introduced Roz to the series Spaced. Before long, it somehow ticked over to 1:30am and Maya came home to find me snoozing on the sofa with Roz fast asleep on my lap. Good thing she was just coming in from work as I expect we would have been there all night. All in all - a very lovely day!

The "Happy Sailor" (freaky)
There are a couple more videos to come, but they need trimming first... bear with me!

For the last five days I've had one song on my head, probably because I keep listening to it on repeat. There's just something about it that makes me want to listen to it over and over again. Maybe it's the lyrics "I am imagining a dark lit place, Or your place or my place. I'm not paralyzed, but I seem to be struck by you, I wanna make you move because you're standing still, If you body matches what your eyes can do, You'll probably move right through me on my way to you."It's that line "If you body matches what your eyes can do" that I love so much. I can imagine being in a club and seeing someone with 'come get me' eyes and thinking "If she can move anything like those eyes suggests that she can then wow wow wee waa". Have a listen and judge for yourself

What do you do when you've spent 14 hours designing and painting a bike that you end up not liking the design? Simple, you get out the glasspaper and scrub it all off, so last night, that's exactly what I did; well, started to anyway. It's going to be a monster effort to do it all, but fortunately the glasspaper that I've bought is really good and cuts through the paint really well without leaving the metal underneath with an abrasive finish. If only the same could be said for the Coping Saw on the pesky seat bolt. It was more like the "not-coping" saw and the bolt saw off (no pun intended) two blades intended for thick metal. I've finally had it up to here *holds his hand near his head* with the bolt, so my drill is charging, and tonight, after my radio show, I'm going to show the little sucker who's boss

No, it's not me, at least, I don't think I am. Instead, it's just been 'officially' announced that the gobby Welsh singer turned tv host is well and truly up the Hilary Duff. Whose it is, I don't know, and to be honest I don't care. Maybe it'll give her something to spend all that 'hard-earned' money on, once she's allowed it that it. As long as creates another case of what I'd now like to call the "Jade Goody Syndrome" and causes her to disappear indefinitely from my tele-box then I'll be a happy man, though somehow, I expect it will cause another media frenzy and we'll be seeing far too much of the Crazy Bitch, sorry, I mean Chick. On that subject, Jade still keeps popping up in the paper. She takes up far too many inches, both on the planet and in my paper. I'd say that I wish she was abducted, but hell, she'd probably get front cover then. What a waste of space!

One thing will never fail to astonish me about London, and that's the weather. Apart from more tropical climates, I'm sure London the only place on the planet that can have torrential rain one day and be lovely the following day. Today, I had the opportunity to prove that, as yesterday I was woken by the sound of gale force winds and blistering rain as is slammed against my bedroom window, so for some reason, I videoed it... ...Then, this morning on the walk to work, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky...(cue video two) I think I've just come to accept now that the good weather in London is back and forth more often than A-listers are in and out of their relaxational paradise... sorry, I mean rehab!

When do I have spare time? Well, at the moment, a 'normal' week looks a little like this
- Monday - Free though I may start climbing regularly
- Tuesday - Boxing then go home and collapse
- Wednesday - I like to try and work on the bike
- Thursday - Gym and radio show
- Friday - It's Friday, I'm always doing something, generally with Roz
- Saturday - Try to spend the day with Rozamundo
- Sunday - Gym for a few hours in the afternoon, relax in the evening or catch up with mates
As you can see, I don't really have any time that I consider "free", but that's now no more as yesterday I did something very foolish indeed - I bought a copy of Final Fantasy XII. After an initial play last night that kept me up til way past my bedtime I can see that this is going to be one horribly addictive game. Hell, I'm glad tonight is a kinda off (though I do need to sand and do the first coat on my fender) as I really want to go home and play! I was a little unsure about getting it, as I was a big fan of VII through to IX (I somehow missed the revolutionary X and X-2) and in this new one SquareSoft have completely revamped the battle systems and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it; I must say, it's amaaaaazing. Well done SquareSoft! The thing is, the Final Fantasy series of games generally take over 40 hours to complete (I remember the four disk marathon of Final Fantasy VII on my PSX taking me in excess of 60 hours) and I fear that this one is literally going to eat all of my few hours of spare time. Right now I'm itching to get back and give the fire boss that defeated me last night a good kicking. The problem is, I find myself saying "I'll come off at the next save crystal", then when I get there I say "oh, one more save crystal won't hurt", and before I know it, two hours have ticked by. Bye bye spare time. It was nice knowing you. I mean, it's not like I have loads of other things to do, like see Roz, do my bike (I only wasted 14 hours doing the paint job that I now don't like *sighs*), prepare for my radio show, go to the gym, eat, sleep, have a social life and enjoy the many fruitful opportunities that land at my feet week in week out... Random fact: The character Vivi in Final Fantasy IX is the reason that I came up with the name Alzani as that's what I named him. That's him in the picture. Ain't he cool!

Happy 200th Anniversary It's finally happened - this is my 200th blog! I've been blogging since 22nd September 2006, 5 months and 6 days ago, or 159 days if you prefer it that way. In that time, the amount of readers has grown from strength to strength with every passing month, so I thank you for taking the time out of your lives to read my little thoughts, adventures and general ramblings. If it wasn't for you lot, I would have given up a long time ago. Thanks again, and I hope you keep coming back

There was another big thing that went on this weekend, I finished the paint job on my bike. Hurrah! Shame that I don't like it though, so I'm going to sand it all down and start again. It's not that I don't like the colours or anything, but I really should have done a masking tape test, you see, where I'd ripped the tape to make the curves of the tiger print, it left a kind of feathery edge, as if I've painted on, well, a feather or something. This meant that all of the stripes had white edges, which I tried painting over with a brush but it still didn't look quite right so I'm going to start again from scratch but go a brighter, cleaner, simpler way. Metallic red with white highlights. Maybe that red with silver glittered bits in it to make it really shine in the sun, I'm not sure yet. It depends what Halfords have in stock. As for the issue with the crank and the bottom bracket, well I'm going to take it down to my local bike shop and get them to remove it (I don't mind paying now, even it it mean wrecking the cranks) so that I can get a perfect finish this time. Ideally I would blast sand the frame, but it'd be horribly expensive to have done, so I'm going to do it by hand. Sure it'll take ages, but hey, I've got time!
