it goes really slow but it goes. we've begun getting the artwork together for an actual release and we've begun the process of getting the record mastered. i know it's slow so don't hold your breath but it will happen. it will exist and it will be this year. thanks for still caring

we are in the process of trying to sell a van and maybe an amp or something. we need to pay down some debt but also we need to take a bit of that money and do a cheap little master job on or record. once that happens, we'll post the whole record here on snocap so you people can finally have it. so the point of the blog is that if any of you still check up on us , or care about this long lost record...we'll soon you can enjoy it out of the myspace realm. so that's that. we also have some other projects we are working on and maybe someday we'll post links to those. so bottom line is that music will be here on snocap soon.

hello all,
we are sad today to announce that we will no longer continue on as ambulette. at least for now. we have faced many obstacles as a band and have just decided that it's time to move on to other endeavors. it has not been easy for us to get anything done based on our label situations and it just isn't much fun anymore. when your band is 90% business and 10% music it's time to try something else. when and if we ever actually fully get the rights to the record we made, we will find a way to make it available to the handful of you that have been waiting for so long. if that takes too long we'll just put it up somewhere and you can take it. thanks so much to anyone who has ever come to a show or written us a comment or just generally supported this band. you have all been wonderful. thanks.

so we will be playing every monday night (except one) at schubas here in chicago during the month of october. this will hopefully lead up to the release of our record. we know monday isn't saturday but hopefully some of you will make it out, maybe even more than once. we will be mixing up the sets and playing some covers to try and make each show unique. other bands will be listed soon. also, more touring and shows will be posted as they come up. please keep checking in as we hope this is the beginning of lots of goings ons.

just a little update. things have been slow for a bit around here as far as shows go but that doesn't mean that noghing has been happening. we've been working very hard to finally get our music out to you fine folks and to get this show rolling again. if all goes as planned, we will be hitting it hard again right after this summer and god willing, with a c.d. in hand full of new songs. well, old songs just new to all of you. so please hold tight and get ready for this thing to go. this fall may be the first time we've actually had a support system in place and music in hand so we are all very excited. hope you are too. we'll be checking in more frequently so come back soon.

Craziness, people. We gots us a full plate of craziness around here, and no one's got an appetite for craziness like Ambulette. In brief: Maura has a bona-fide family emergency that calls for her to head home after our show Saturday in Salt Lake City; the Denver show has therefore been cancelled (not our choice; sorry), and the last four shows of the tour (Lawrence, Des Moines, Champagne, and Chicago) will be played by Euphone, Ryan's amazing solo drums-and-organ-and-vocals jawn, with Stephen and Matt playing guitar(s). I feel full just thinking about it...

Please send good thoughts to the Davis family c/o Richmond, VA. If you've never seen Euphone, and want to get your mind BLOWN, please come check it out. And Eastern Conference Champions are playing with us in Salt Lake City, Lawrence, Des Moines, and Champagne, and they might just be the best band running around America that still fits into an Econoline.
