Dave Potter from the local band Grindscape was robbed today and he needs everyones help.  Neighbors report seeing a red mustang with people entering the house early this morning.  Just so happens one of Dave's ex girlfriends from around 5 years ago also drives a red mustang that fits the description.  He's been through some stuff with her in the past so they also aren't on the best of terms and she would steal to support her drug habit.  So if you know Dave I am sure you know exactly who to keep an eye out for.  

If you get any info, hear anything, see anything please pass the info on to police, to Dave or even email me on myspace or at contact@anadies.com  

Here is a partial list of what they took from the house, if you see or hear of anyone trying to move these items in the Colorado Springs area, please don't hesitate to do what you can to help!

Plus a whole bunch of other odds and ends stuff, much of it with high sentimental value is also missing.  If you have any information, please don't hesitate to pass it on.

AnaDies is officially done.  

We had a hell of a run over the last 6 plus years but sadly we have to announce that AnaDies has run its course. We are very fortunate to have met so many great people and undoubtedly have gained many life long friendships.  

To everyone who has ever supported us in any way, if you caught an AnaDies show, shared the stage with us, purchased some merchandise, taken the time to send an email, opened up your homes and lives to us when we were on tour or sat down with us to have a drink.  We can't thank you all enough for the memories that we'll be blessed with for the rest of our lives.

It was an amicable split and we're all still great friends so there's nothing to worry about there. It may be the end of a chapter but its not the end of the book.  You will see some of the former members of AnaDies out with new projects soon!  So keep following us here on myspace and we'll keep you updated with the latest news regarding those projects.

In the meantime, we are going to be offering up the remaining stock of our latest album "Prevail" at an amazing discount.  So if you're interested in picking up a little piece of AnaDies history before the remaining copies are gone forever, hit us up.

"The first time I saw this band was back in '06.  They were opening up for Lacuna Coil, and I was totally captured by Christy's voice and Isaac's hard drum line.  Since then I have had the opportunity to catch this band several times around the Springs and up in Denver.  Simply said, they are the real deal.

Every time I see AnaDies, it seems like I am seeing them again for the first time.  Their stage presence continues to change and they are always willing to take a chance to try something new, whether it's the lighting or the arrangement of a new song.  Christy's voice is totally hypnotic and as soon as you are caught in her web of tranquility you are thrust back to reality by Isaac's hard hitting bass drum, then comes Jeff's low growl voice that takes you yet to another completely different plane.  All the while Tom and Dave are driving the lin continually with rhythm and bass guitars, just daring you to try and not get caught in the energy brings no matter where they are playing.  I am not sure what is harder to believe, that these guys are not signed to a reputable label yet or that they have been playing together for barely 5 years.

The really cool thing about this band is they are not an up and coming cover band, they actually have depth and writing ability within them.  I think of all the times I have seen them perform, I have only heard them play one cover song.  That alone is impressive, considering even seasoned bands are covering others music these days.  If you are ever warranted the opportunity, you need to check out AnaDies.  They will make you a fan from the first note you hear."
