1. i have an autistic half-nephew who's my age. (and his half-brother is also autistic.)
2. when i was snorkeling in jamaica in 1999, the current brought me crashing into a cluster of these:
they're about 10 inches in diameter and the spines are poisonous, several of which broke off underneath my skin. the people i was diving with threw some vinegar on me and told me to get back in the water, so i asked if they'd take the spines out later.
"oh, no, you don't take them out."
so i have diadema antillarum in me forever.
3. i need silence and darkness to fall asleep in bed, but anywhere else i can fall asleep pretty much on command, no matter what's going on around me.
4. i am a fetish film star.
5. i clean other people's plates as well as my own because my parents raised me to never waste food. i of course don't do this around people i don't know well, or people i think would freak out/think i'm a freak.
6. i used to be completely anti- all of the following things: being touched by strangers (even an accidental bump in the hallway at school freaked me out), sharing any sort of food or drink, partying, drinking, smoking, doing drugs, one-night stands, failing classes, and being a "wigger". and now look at me.
