On Saturday November 14 from 3:30-5 the authors and models of DCL Publications will be selling the Seven Sins and Naked Visions Silver Blue Dreams @ the   La Quinta near Nashville International Airport.

The food pantries all over the US are sorely needing our assistance.

DCL Publications understands this and  we will be doing a can food drive for the Second Harvest of middle Tennessee.  It is a time of year when we need to be thankful for what we have and share with people who have lost jobs due to the terrible economy.  Anyone can have their picture taken with one or more of our handsome male cover models for the price of a can of food.  Julian Fantechi, Armando Gonzales, CJ Hollenbach and Bill Freda are currently scheduled to appear!

Yours truly will be there too!

Please show your love and support for my wonderful cover artist Annie Marshall and devilishly handsome model Armando by voting for Within These Stone Walls' cover in Embrace the Shadows' Clash of the Covers contest! Voting for my cover is only open this week and just takes a click, nothing to sign up for!

Thanks in advance for all your support. Much love!

After about two weeks of not being able to access my email, it's finally working again! Knock on wood!

(no not THAT wood!)

I'm still sorting through thousands of messages backed up during that time, so please have patience if you've emailed me anything and I haven't responded!

On the bright side, one of the emails I did find is a new review of Last Chance upon a Murder. 4 and a half delightful divas and a recommended read from Dark Diva Reviews! Woo Hoo!! http://ddrreviews.blogspot.com/2009/07/last-chance-upon-murder-by-desiree-lee.html

MySpace will probably screw up that link so copy & paste please. I hate msplinks...grrr....

Money Laundering is now available at Fictionwise! Since it is new this week, it's 15% off! Bonus! Heck, even at the regular price of $1.49 it's a bargain! This book is part of the Luneyville, USA series from Wild Child publishing, but you don't need to read the whole series to understand each book within it.

The town of Lunaville (affectionately called Luneyville) is full of coincidences. Each book provides a glimpse into the life of a different Luneyville resident and the coincidental things that happen around them.

Money Laundering blurb: For dry cleaning clerk Iina Whitmer, life in Lunaville is rife with odd coincidence. It only gets stranger when a handsome attorney, missing socks and $50,000 are involved!

If MySpace hoses the link please copy and paste it.

After reading this, I'm hopping mad. More than that, I'm deeply dismayed by the blatant intolerance and short-sightedness on the parts of some people.

My paranormal tale Within These Stone Walls received a 4 ½ Cherries review from Whipped Cream! Woo hoo! Plus, it is up for Book of the Week! I’d appreciate your vote in the poll! The poll is only open Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th.

Reviewer Tiger Lily states: “Ms. Lee writes a captivating tale. She grabs the reader from page one and allows her characters to run the gamut of emotions until the very end.”

As my newsletter subscribers already know, Wild Child Publishing has offered me a contract on my horror short story The House that Jack Built. This will be included in the upcoming anthology Weirdly, Volume 3. Oh, and the newsletter already had a sneak peek at the first excerpt.

If you're not a subscriber of my newsletter, you're not first on the list to get new updates on my work. OMFGoodness! Subscribe here. This is a no-chat, newsletter-only list. I won't flood your inbox, I promise!

It's a bit of a milestone for me since this is my first straight-up horror story acceptance. No romance there at all. I like to think it shows versatility in my ability as an author.

What do I know though? I just write stuff.
