Sometimes the richest gift that you can give is the one of TIME. So many people so little time.
I helped create the backround set with a group a children from 2-4 grade for my children's school drama club. They did the play Peter Pan. Each child hit their mark, preformed perfectly and had a wonderful time in their roles. My son played the part of the Indian Chief- Tiger Lilly's Father.
I was with them from october to april. The Date of the show , I had opening night jitter for them. There were a few who have very bad stage fright and felt that they were going to loose their lunch.I taught them how to blow out their butterflies an dbreathe in the white light that surrounds us to calm us down once we are grounded. After a few deep breathe they we ready to shine on stage as the star they are.
Being able to be there with the children and to guide them to preform to their best was a treat for me. I was rewarded with grins and thank you and high fives. Kids need to have an adult there to check in with. Is this the right way? Am I going int he correct dirction?
I was their unconditional support being there for them was what I did.
Time is what people need.  Just show up.
