Alright so its about two months away i hope you all are getting your teams together. Here is how the games are going to work. They will all start out with group play your team will be randomly placed in a group with three other teams and you will play every team in your group one time and gain points and the top two teams from each group will advance to a bracket play which will be single elimination to determine the winner.

Quarters- This will be the same as it was in the last beerfest except for when you win its one point and then the remaining cups will be kind of like a tie break if teams end up tied at the end of group play. The cups that the losing team has left will go on there cups against part of the board and be added to the winners cups for part of the board.

TIEBREAKERS-the first tie breaker is going to be heads up play. if the team your tied with beat you heads up then your gone. if more then one team are tied then we could use the cups for and against to determine the winner of the round.

You will then be placed in a bracket and play one game a round and the winner obviously moves on to the next round. you will get one point for each win with the final winner getting an additional 3 points.

Flip cup-pretty much the same as the last beerfest you will line up 6 on 6 with the cups about a quarter full drink them and then place the cup face down on the table and make it do a complete flip then the next person on your team can go. it will be group play as well so the top two teams will advance to the bracket play with the winner getting three points.

well those are the first two events the rules really havent changed much its the formation of play due to the fact that we are going to have more teams and need to speed up the rate of play. we are still figuring out the exact beer pong rules then those will be up as well as a new secret event which is in the works as well. the final winner is still going to be based on overall points so you have to do good in each event in order to win. any questions just leave a comment on here or send a message.

the date is going to be June 9th and it will be starting early in the day so you will need to take the day off. its going to be teams of 6 or 7 again. 20 bucks a person we will be getting at least 4 kegs and having a bbq before hand. that is why it went up this time. the format is going to be tournament style for each event so it will run quicker and more efficient. the rules will be posted in one months time with teams being due in to us by May 9th with the money. keep looking for more updates.

Ok the rules have been updated. Not too many changes but a few. Also we're going to cover some other guidelines when people get there. I'll give you a briefing though right now. First of, some people are asking if there will be prize money. The answer to that is no, we are hosting this event at our house meaning if we get in trouble WE pay the fine. Also not every all the teams have turned in the money. Thank you to those of you who have, but to those who haven't, we need the money for our provisions for the night. Please do not be greedy and say you deserve a cash prize. Especially since last Beerfest, we put the event on and only a select few paid so it mostly came out of our pockets. Again, I cannot explain enough the need to collect the money from all teams, BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T PAY YOU DON'T PLAY and if we don't have the money for Beerfest, there will be no Beerfest. It takes a lot to put something like this on, especially with the number of people coming. Your prize for winning is… you get bragging rights until next year and big high five. Also you'll be drunk so you shouldn't complain.

Next order of business, we need everyone to remember that this is a friendly competition and yes there will be friendly shit talking. That's fine, but if your skin isn't thick enough then just be quiet. Many harsh things will most likely be said, just remember DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY. We aren't trying to have any ruined friendships, any fights, or any other sort of negativity. If you lose you lose don't try to say anyone cheated. We have a referee (a big thanks to Jesse Bradford, btw) who was the one from last Beerfest. Jesse knows the rules and abides by all of them. You should too. There are no "challenges" from the players. This isn't Football, this is Futbol. Once Jesse makes a call, that's it. He has final say. So complain all you want, but if you become too angry, then we'll have to ask you to leave. WE WILL KICK YOU OUT if we see that you are getting too upset. We don't want any fights, and since it's a bit bigger this time and in a smaller space, people tend to get a little agitated a little easier. I'm not saying that there will be fights or any other altercations because last time went smoothly and everyone was calm and just enjoying the games, but you never know so that's why we are posting this.

Basically, just have fun! Don't take anything too seriously!

AGAIN I NEED MONEY FROM ALL TEAMS!!! So far I think we only have Diego's team money. Along with individual people. It's ten dollars per person. So if you have seven, that makes what folks??

You can call Matt, Jake or Eric! PICK YOUR POISON!

Alright everyone! Remember to pass this on. Thanks.

here are the rules that we will be playing with

-10 cups per teams of three. (you will have two teams)

-if the ball bounce then you must take away two cups...but you can block a bounce

-distractions are allowed unless it is a rebuttle in which case you must step back from the table and let the other team shoot.

-if the final beer pong is made while you have up to 6 cups left then you will still have a chance to rebuttle with three bouncing shots

-there will be two re racks per game

-blowing will be allowed

-3 beers per game

-if you block a shot that is not a bounce then you must take away a cup and the player that shot the ball gets a reshot

-if you knock over a cup then you must remove it from play

-your shoulder must not come past the end of the board when you are shooting.

-once the last player on the other team has released the ball then ther other team may shoot.

-you must finish the beer you have to drink before taking your next shot.

-ball is still in play until you have complete control of it or it has hit the ground.

the way this will work is you will have an A team and a B team and we will randomly draw out of a hat to see who plays...you cant play your own team until the final. it will be a half a point for each win you pick up but it is also single elimination. if there are any questions or rules i might have left out let me know.

the strikeout is going to be a bonus event that will be used if you need to pick up some extra points if your team needs them.

the way this work is a half a point for each member of your team to complete it.

it will be a hit out of the saw followed by the chugging of a beer and then a shot all while still holding in the hit. you cannot blow out the hit until you have taken the shot. and as with every event you may not puke for five minutes after the completion of a event.

speed quarters-

this event will be similar to flip cup in which you will be lined up again in rows of 6 facing off against an opponet from another team. you will have a half full red cup in front of you with an empty glass cup in between you and the opposing player. you will each start with one quarter and then you have to make in in the empty cup chug your beer and then the next person on your team may begin. the points will work the same way in this event leading into our secret event which will be posted on friday.

FLIP CUP-

the rules of flip cup are easy and it will be the first event. you will line your 6 teammates up in a order in which you think they will be able to finish the fastest. you will fill up each red cup about half way which will be determined right before the ref says to begin. you then chug your half a beer and then attempt to flip the cup with the open side down all the way over until you land it with the open side face down against the table. your next teammate in line will not be able to touch there cup until you have sucessfully flipped your cup over. if they touch it before then you will be disqualified from that event. the points for the event will be based on how many players the other team has when your team has completed there flipping. one point per player left...for example if team A completes there cup flipping first and team B has two players left then team A will recieve two points for that event.

ANY QUESTIONS??
