Getting ready to go down to NAMM. I will be playing for my endorsers, Marleaux Bass Guitars, Fibenare Bass Guitars, and Eden/USMusicorp. Please check out the great products of these companies! Come by Booth 1810 (Marleaux), where I will be mostly stationed, and say hey.

Thanks to my friend Joe Sanchez I got some fun photos for you from the recent Celebrate Brooklyn show. Check out the bass I am playing - also courtesy of Joe - his Fodera 6. A bit out of Sippy character, but what a treat!
I'll have more photos from recent shows soon. We did some real fun ones in Madison, Chicago, Walnut Creek, Foster City, Northampton and Albany. If you get to play with Yid Vicious, are stranded in the Albany airport or Brooklyn downpours you are bound to have some good fun!

Hi Folks, due to illness the upcoming two Palm Wine Boys shows are cancelled. Please send prayers and good vibes down the Palm Wine Path. Our lead singer, chief composer and guitarist Richard Linley is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation at the moment - with admirable patience and really inspiring bravery. I just wish I could sing him his own songs right now the way he sings them... Live on Hope... Wake Up... Another Day...
Well wishes and healing mojo his way much appreciated. If he keeps going as strong-spirited as he is right now, we are hopefully back with gigs and concerts very soon.

Playing at NPR World Cafe Live in Philly. Kendra has figured out a lot of ways to get from Point A to Point B... They have basses on the Walls there, at NPR... Half of the gang is staying on the East Coast to visit family. Unfortunately Joz had an incident involving stones on the ocean that were kinda slippery and it ended with stitches. Luckily no long term effects! The rest of us is heading home (Kendra, Rudy, and I). Our trip involved stitches, too, but laughing stitches, rather. Rudy is setting new trends of footwear for airports... Kendra has been talking about it for hours.... donuts, round and sweet and warm and the legendary DD coffee... nothing would lift her mood just now like this... her excitement reaches the peak as she sees this sign... Alas, it is not meant to be... COMING SOON... It took us hours to cheer her up... Kendra and I winning the world record in luggagge a single person can possibly shlepp (after a long flight still and NO DONUTS, mind you!!!) Thanks for the laughs, Kendra, this was priceless!!!! I had a blast sippin in DC and Philly. What a fun weekend!!! Thanks for coming out!! Next Sippin show is June 1st, see you locals there!

Current mood: tired
Sippies are in WASHINGTON. Meet the band! Bandleader Sippy Paul Allison, keys and vocals, and Joz, the drum Sippy Sippy Alli Sippy Rudy, ex Bass Sippy, now sippin guitar Sippy Doug, the juggle sippy Nina, manager de tour Sippy Kendra, our aerialist and dancer No photo of yours truly. Call me Sippy Ari, will ya?! Unfortunately Paul is a crutch-Sippy this weekend. Due to severe salmon-jerky intoxication, he slipped on stairs yesterday and suffered a 7th degree ankle sprain. Looks painful. I think he did enjoy being wheeled around the airport, though. Doug juggling his luggage... I wore a gigantic cap today and the airport security authorities demanded to look under it, much to my amusement. Kendra's resin (which she uses to prepare her hands when dangling on tissue from the ceiling in neck breaking poses) got recognized as a threat to national security and taken into custody. Other than that the flight was pretty uneventful... Looking forward to the gigs tomorrow. This hotel here rocks! Leopard bathrobes! Bed looks mightily inviting at the moment...

Current mood: happy
Hi all,
It's my Birthday today. If you want to send a fun personal comment, you make my day :) .
Blog's back! I am also reviving arianemusic.net and in general creating a mailing list, thanks to al the folks who keep 'bugging' me on that one :). Email me on MySpace if you'd like to be on it.
I have loads of news. Besides the Palm Wine Boys, who I have enjoyed playing with for a while now, I play now in two other bands, who I am really excited about: the Brian Cline Band out of Napa, a premier entertainment outfit with the nicest guys and gal and heavy caliber musicians. And my music-milk-and mischief band, the Sippy Cups, who do psychedelic music for kids of all ages. We have an aerialist, jugglers, music that parents and kids like alike. The audience has two layers - sea of kids up front, adults in the back. Lots of balloons and colors, chuckles and humor and some great Beatles/Syd Barrett etc covers as well as awesome originals. Great cats in the band, and a genial concept. I will blog more about it. Check out my calendar for an upcoming East Coast trip this weekend. There are lots of tours coming up, I will keep you in the loop.
Tour Blog is back! With photos and stories!
I am doing educational videos for musicvirtuosity as well as Eden. For Eden they may merge into fun on-location reports. Will blog.
I am recording 4 albums this summer and plan on putting out some fun stories, process reports and photos.
On to celebrating now :)
