The Xylio has officially declared the end of B-DJ development, so it stops to version 1.2. The long-awaited upgrade, which should be available August, disappear at all from the software house plans. Developers say sorry for this , and they say to have tried to release an important updates that should resolve at all the myriad of problems which we knows very well.I think that, now all the "unfortunate" owners of BCD2000, struggling with a software and with the total lack of support. If I think that Behringer still to sell the BCD2000, I dont know why people should buy this product yet.

On the other hand I am not shifting blame on Xylio, but rather on the same Behringer, this new fact reinforces even more the value of our petition. From the Xylio there is a positive aspect. The software house, obviously aware of its limitations, decided to concentrate all its efforts on developing Future Decks Pro, software certainly more mature than BDJ, and with a discrete potential. So in the end the effort is certainly not by Behringer.

The Xylio to show that cares about its users, offers Future Decks Pro, now just released in version 1.06, at symbolic price of 12.95 euros FutureDecks Pro has the same look of B-DJ (practically uses the same skin), integrates seamlessly with BCD2000/3000, has all of the features of BDJ plus many more, it is much more stable and most important thing is updated regularly (Xylio declare a new version every 1-2 months). It also runs on Mac.

We ask to Behringer that is granted to all BCD2000 customers, a firmware update and a software upgrade to Traktor LE, all this completely free. In accordance with the right to have purchased a product in conformity with advertised expectations. At the moment the BCD2000 (unlike BCD3000), is unusable because of serious malfunctions of the Xylio B-DJ software, and a total lack of support from Xylio software house

I have hoped that the guys of the Atomix would have done a miracle, but the VDJ configuration for the BCD3000 is late to arrive. Not even the mythical Max Mora who was superfast with 2000, have produced anything yet. Atomix says that the next version will have the support to the BCD3000, but at the moment nothing to do with fabulous version 5 of Virtual DJ. So the only thing that remain to us is to use the generic midi configuration and loading XML created by our friend Simonej . These xml file with some small modifications made from myself are downloadable here. This configuration works well, even if some configurations seem go lost when you save the file( small bug of VDJ?). In particular you need to verify, after loaded it, that the settings of the JOG are on "invert" and that the buttons of pitch bend fine of DeckA are setted up on "temporary". There are more configurations that can be added, and that you will be able to make yourself by the VDJ panel, thanks to very good midi learn function. The very big bug to fix is that all bcd3000 leds doesn't works. But I'm developing a script file, to Bome Midi Traslator, to fix this. The file will be available soon , I will give you news about it on the blog.

Atomix Productions has just released the version 5 of its flagship software VirtualDJ.
Version 5 features a brand new browser, that has been completely redesigned from scratch, in order to fit the needs of today's DJs. One of the most immediate difference is the ability to browse for songs by cover pictures, instead of plain text lists. But the new browser also features a lot of small enhancement, a much better and easier search engine, a full compatibility with ID3 tags, an exclusive intelligent "filter folder", full compatibility with iTunes playlists, and much more...
Beside the new browser, Version 5 also brings huge improvements to TimeCode users. Thanks to ClearSound technology, the sound using timecode is now crystal clear. The reaction of the timecode has also been improved. And with a new plugin system, timecode use can be enhanced and modified at will by the addition of user-made plugins.
Also, Version 5 brings even more stability to the already solid software.

After 2 months without an update Xylio finally released version 1.0.5 of Future Decks Pro, the main software of Xylio.
I have thought that Xylio was died but this news seems to say the opposite.
The other good news is that Xylio has promised a new release of BDJ (1.3) in August on 17th (but who believes to VIM about dates?)
These the new features/improvements of FD Pro:
- sample player (sampler)
- BPM edit with intervals selection (ability to edit/tap the BPM manually if the software calculates it wrong)
- additional audio output for previewing/monitoring (Windows DirectSound only)
- VST fixes and improvements - Load songs in RAM setting added (Auto/5min/10min/15min/Never)
- a warning box if you try to load a song into a playing deck
- Behringer BCD3000 native support (Win+Mac)
- BCD2000/3000 skin (the B-DJ skin adaptation)
- text appearance problem on Mac finally fixed
- stability improvements - other small bugs fixed

I've not tested BCD jog yet, but I don't think that it still works

Its name is Garrapeta, and is a Spanish boy who has thought well to perfect the tool of Cycocraut for uses it with BCD2000 and Traktor3. And I must not only say that it has made the things in large, for the disposition of the buttons, and for the happy choice of some solutions, that we will describe below, but because it is the only one that makes a template available to print that it will render the easier life to all. Between the more interesting innovationes there are I use it of all a series of push-buttons through a key function that takes the place of "back to top" (the key rendered useless from uses it of the jog for the seek). Through I use it of this button activate many interesting keys, type the loop size and resize in the effects knobs , or the effects of Traktor through Eq knobs and the Kill Eq buttons. We have tried it and thanks to the template printed before, it has not been difficult to be operated at 100%. Now use BCD2000 with Traktor, expecially for creative deejays, has become simpler (but remember that use of Midi Rules request a little experience). It does not remain to you that going to Garrapeta home page in order to know more about it, and in order to download the files for Midi Rules and the templates to print.
You can see a Video on Youtube also: here.

Our friend ZeDd have written a useful post into Xylio forum, to explain how to install BCD 2000 on Windows Vista in properly mode.
First of all, I installed the old driver and the software from the cd. Then i did both upgrades. (driver 1.1.1 + software 1.2). Then i did a reboot. With no reboot, the driver won't load ! After the reboot, i plugged my bcd2000 with the USB-cable. Device detected and Vista is installing my device properly. Reboot again! After this second reboot, the driver is loaded (icon of behringer visible on right lower corner) I load VDJ and the leds on my BCD2000 are activated. (just like with XP) I did a quick setup of the midi-setting, latency, etc , no special things. I selected song, press play ... and the plays trough my headphone!!! no lag, no latency, no crops, nothing....
