Dear All,
I bet you didn't know that Tim has secretly been harbouring desires to front a popular trance act!!! Despite years of Duff and I encouraging him to "feel free to dance" on stage, he's never really taken us up on it! Seriously, even if you don't like or get that kind of thing, have a listen to Avatars as the Tim Brownlow contribution is unmistakeable...its infectious...and really rather good!

As far as his solo tour, make sure you pop down and support him! The songs are fantastic, and much more in keeping with the Tim Brownlow we all know and love. As you can imagine, Duff and I are very worried about him out there in the big wide world all on his own, so make sure you go to the shows and buy him a few Pilsners.

As far as Belasco are concerned, we have new songs, nearly ready to record. While Tim is away for a couple of weeks Duff and I are planning to rework the musical arrangements so as to add a kind of Tygers of Pan Tang/Helloween/Stryper type vibe to them! Should be great...and hopefully Tim won't notice!

In the meantime, while Tim heads off round a confused concoction of smokey bars, rock venues and eurotrance superclubs, Duff will get back to writing his Advanced Mathematics text book, and I will return to hand rearing the Llama foals recently rescued from the North Yorkshire Moors.

There's also talk of one or two festivals this summer, and some club shows to boot!

Happy Days.

Bill, Duff.

Current mood:  aroused

Hi All,

A couple of outings for the band in July, firstly the Bochum Total festival in Germany on the Friday evening (4th July - 18.00hrs) on the WDR Eins Live stage. We are also waiting on a club gig the night before so watch this space!

Then off to Sweden for a few days at the end of the month for the Sjuharadsfestivalen in Ulricehamn - 25th July, again details of a club show in Gothenburg to follow.

There's also talk of a London show or two in August/September!

"Well, I'll be at the foot of our stairs!" I hear you say.

"And new songs?"

Too much...surely!

Remember...slip, slap, slop.

Carl.

Hi all,

Just a quick note as we fast approach 2008. The band have been busy sorting things for next year.

Early 2008 will see a load of dates across Germany, Austria and Switzerland - throughout February and early March. The band hope to be confirming a load of european festivals in the summer of 2008 also.

There are still plans to get out to Australia, France, Portugal and Spain also - more news to follow.

"61" will also finally get a UK release - probably April 2008 time. There will be some select UK gigs also - definitely a London show (and hopefully some supports also).

Tim, Bill and Duff are also starting to work on new material - expect this to be showcased throughout 2008. Plans are to record in late 2008 for a new album in early 2009. Would love to tell you what direction, but the band don't know yet!

They are keeping busy with other bits also. Tim is working on solo material. Duff is still playing guitar with Dogzilla (www.myspace.com/dogzillaofficial) and both Bill and Duff are playing with the mighty Rock, Onic and Bob (ukulele covers trio - www.myspace.com/rockonicandbob).

Duff's label maybe Records are also swinging back into gear and looking to release at least 2 (and possibly more) records in 2008 - www.myspace.com/mayberecords. will let you know as soon as we do

Thanks to everyone for your sup[port again this year. Here's top a happy happy year and a cool 2008

thanks
Carl
