You can now download 6 songs recorded at the exclusive iTunes Live From London Session that we gave away tickets for at the beginning of last week. 

The EP, features 4 tracks off Biffy Clyro’s new album ‘Only Revolutions’ including live versions of new songs God & Satan and Born on a Horse, as well as Biffy classics 'Who’s Got A Match?’ and ‘Living is a Problem Because Everything Dies’.

TOUR ROLLS INTO IRELAND! 

With 4 shows down of the current UK & Ireland tour, the band are building up momentum and are set to storm Dublin tonight at the Olympia Theatre. There is a very limited number of tickets still available for the show from ticketmaster.ie.

To say thank you to all of you who have supported and continue to support the band, we are giving away free tickets, guestlist places and organising meet and greets at various shows of the tour via Twitter, Bebo, Myspace and Facebook. We’ve already given away guestlist places in Southampton and details of how to get your hands on tickets for tonight’s show in Dublin will be going up in the next few hours.

ONLY REVOLUTIONS FLAG ADDED TO LIMITED EDITION BOX SET 

The band have decided to include one of the original flags that feature on the front cover of Only Revolutions in the Limited Edition Box Sets. Each box will now not only include the deluxe foldout digipack CD, heavywright 12” Vinyl, DVD, play along CD, tab poster, full orchestra score and 12” art print signed by the legendary Storm Thorgerson, but also a Biffy logo’d guitar pick and a piece of the blue flag from the album cover.

THE CAPTAIN OUT MONDAY

Biffy Clyro’s new single The Captain will finally be released in the shops on Monday. The track, which will be available to download from Sunday is the third single to be taken from Biffy’s fifth studio album ‘Only Revolutions’.

The single will be available on CD, 7” Vinyl, Picture Disc and download with three new tracks ‘Help Me Be Captain’, ‘Once An Empire’ and ‘Party On’ spread across the formats.

UK & IRELAND TOUR KICKS OFF TOMORROW! 

The band finally hit the road this weekend on a 15 date tour set to take in England, Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland and Ireland.

With the release of the album ‘Only Revolutions’ still two weeks away, this will be the first chance for many fans to hear songs from the new LP. The tour kicks off at a sold out show in Southampton on Saturday, followed by gigs in Cardiff on Sunday and Brighton on Monday. Additional tickets for the Brighton show are now available and can be bought from Ticketmaster.com.

Joining the crew on the good-ship Biffy will be Atlanta’s Manchester Orchestra, (who the Biff will be touring with in the US in the new year) and Leeds’ Pulled Apart by Houses.

BIFFY ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN SHOWS!

The band also have just announced details of a return to Australia for three dates over the new year holidays.

The band will play the Pyramid Rock Festival on New Years Eve in Melbourne, with a second date in the city on the 2nd at Hi-Fi. The final date of the jaunt will see the Biff play The Metro Theatre in Sydney on the 3rd January.

YOUR CHANCE TO SEE BIFFY CLYRO AT THE LEGENDARY MAIDA VALE!!!

On Tuesday 13th, Radio 1 will be bringing you a very special performance from Biffy Clyro, live from London’s legendary Maida Vale studios.

The band will be performing tracks from their brand new album ‘Only Revolutions’ alongside a few classics at Maida Vale’s most intimate recording studio. The whole session will be filmed and will be online later that week for everyone to watch for seven days.

Zane Lowe, who announced the show exclusively on his Radio 1 show this evening, has 50 pairs of tickets to give away.

Biffy Clyro are delighted to announce that they have been invited by Muse to be their main support on 14 massive dates across Europe through November and December.

Unfortunately because of these support dates it has meant that several of the band’s UK and European headline shows have been rescheduled. The UK dates being rearranged are Southampton Guildhall moving to 24 October and Cardiff University to 25 October.

The band and management are sorry to anyone inconvenienced by the change of dates, but please be assured that all tickets for the shows are still valid for the rescheduled dates. We will be announcing rescheduled dates for the Dresden, Warsaw, Prague, Barcelona, Madrid and Toulouse shows in the coming weeks.

NEW BIFFYCLYRO.COM LAUNCHES WITH EXCLUSIVE OFFER!!

We are excited to announce that we have just launched BiffyClyro.com version 5.0. We’ve been busy over the last few weeks to build a completely interactive site, which allows the band to interact with you in new ways.

The whole site now gives you the opportunity to add your view on everything from news and blogs to shows, videos and photos. We’ve also expanded TEAM BIFFY to allow fans to upload your own photos and videos, as well as interact with other TEAM BIFFY members, add friends and (of course) chat in the forum.

To coincide with the launch we are delighted to offer BC.com users a chance to buy an exclusive Collector’s Box Set of the new album Only Revolutions. The box features the album on foldout digipack CD and vinyl, an exclusive DVD documentary on the making of the album, as well as many other treats. It has just been confirmed that the band will play the HMV Forum, in Kentish Town, London as part of the forthcoming Q Award festivities.

The Biff will headline a show at the venue on the 20th October, with some very special guests soon to be announced.

THE CAPTAIN TO RECIEVE ITS FIRST PLAY!

The exclusive first play of Biffy Clyro’s new single ‘The Captain’ will be on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show tomorrow evening. 

The track, the second to be taken from the band’s forthcoming fifth album, can be heard after 7:00pm at 97.95FM, online at bbc.co.uk/radio1/ or on digital TV.

LIVE LOUNGE STOPS OFF IN SCOTLAND

Biffy Clyro will be playing a special Live Lounge Session next week for Jo Whiley, as her BBC Radio 1 show heads on tour throughout the UK.

The band will be playing host to Jo and her radio 1 team on Wednesday 16th September in Ayrshire and will be performing a few tracks, as well as discussing the forthcoming new album.

HEADLINERS FESTIVAL CANCELLED

Due to forthcoming closure of The London Paper, we have been informed that the Headliners Festival has been cancelled. Due to this the band will obviously not be playing the ICA on September 17th, those who purchased tickets for the Festival, will be able to receive a refund from their point of purchase.

SUPPORT ACTS ANNOUNCED

If the latest offering from the Biffy camp wasn’t enough to get you incredibly excited about the forthcoming UK & Ireland Autumn tour, then the news that two of the hottest bands around will be joining them on their upcoming jaunt definitely will.

The band will be joined by Manchester Orchestra and Pulled Apart By Horses at all dates of the tour in October and November, due to circumstances beyond our control Future of the Left will not be supporting biffy on the upcoming dates as previously announced. We can also now announce that Oceansize will join the Biff at this month’s Edge Festival show in Edinburgh. Tickets for the show on the 21st August have all SOLD OUT, with the show set to see Biffy test-drive tracks from the forthcoming new album.

Biffy return this summer with one hell of a statement of intent in the form of a new single That Golden Rule. The track which has just been A-listed by Radio 1 is taken from the as-yet-unfinished fifth album and will be available to download 23rd August and in the shops on the 24th. 

That Golden Rule will be backed by 3 new tracks across CD, 7 inch and 7 inch picture disc with all new songs also available to download from iTunes.

The CD, which can be ordered along with both vinyl formats NOW at Record Store / Townsend Records, will feature Prey Hey, with the 7 inch vinyl version featuring Time Jazz and the limited edition picture disc will have Eye Lids as the flip side.

HOTTEST RECORD IN THE WORLD TODAY!

This week marks the return of Biffy Clyro as they hatch their plans to release the biggest record of 2009.

It all starts tonight night when Zane Lowe will spin the first offering from the as yet untitled fifth album – That Golden Rule. The track is set to be featured as the hottest record in the world and features some of Biffy’s dirtiest riffs, as well as some stunning time changes and a massive chorus.
