This week has been both hopeful and disappointing for Black Sheep Records / Hunab Ku.

Hunab Ku / Black Sheep Records were recently given the opportunity to be featured in Metal Maniacs magazine, to expose the band and the reissue of ‘The Gaze Inward’ to a wider audience. After completing the interview and receiving a confirmation concerning the publication, we have just been informed that Metal Maniacs will not be printing any more issues and is - for all express purposes - defunct.

It’s a shame that such a great situation had to turn into such a negative one, but we’re trying not to dwell on it too heavily. There is still a chance the interview could be printed in another publication. If for some reason it is not, however, we’ll do what we can to post it on Myspace for you to read.

The main purpose of this is to say thanks to all of you out there for keeping in touch with us and doing what you can to get the name out – be it bombing a Myspace page with comments to get us on a show or simply listening to the music. And if you haven’t recently, tell your friends about the insanity that is Hunab Ku and we’ll spread this disease around.
