Hi everyone, this is Jenna. Blake is out of pocket for a little bit so I get to write the newsletter again! I always enjoy that. We had a whirlwind month last month, and it's continuing into this month. Last month Blake and I went to Nashville to finish the vocals on his new CD - Unclouded Day: Hymns & Classics. You can see the album of recording pics here. Can I just tell you how good this CD is going to be? It has favorite hymns and some classics on there. Blake's voice is so beautiful and we hired the best pianist available in the industry right now to do all the music. The CD has some cello and a little percussion, it's just beautiful.  If you pre-order the CD it sure helps us raise the funds to actually print it! But we'll have enough of the CDs to go around for sure; we're expecting to be able to ship the new CDs out September 21st! 

This past weekend in Enid, OK we stayed at a great hotel. As we were helping ourselves to the breakfast that morning, this is the sign we saw on display. I love it!! Had to take a picture. It makes me smile.

This month Blake and I leave for Kentucky for the National Quartet Convention. I promise to take lots of pictures! It really is quite an experience. Gospel groups everywhere you look! We have made a few friends over the years and so we can't wait to see them again. 

And, we are excited because the house we put an offer on was accepted! We are supposed to close on it September 30th, but you know how those things go. I'm going to try to be flexible -- some of you who know me well know that "flexible" may not exactly be my middle name. But I'll sure try. ;)
