This is my first time to "blog" but I can't let this one go.  Shame on you TVTrevor!  Shame on you for being a part of an on air story about people "bug chasing."  Yes, the problem does exists, but do you actually think this is something new?  How can you call yourself an out and proud gay man and participate in reporting that only makes the gay community look worse in the public eye.  When I came out there was no Will & Grace on TV and Ellen Degenneres was still working part time in New Orleans.  We that are older than you have fought long and hard for equality and you have knocked us back. 

Have you ever volenteered your time with persons living with AIDS?  Have you ever delivered meals? Have you ever bought clothes for a man who was kicked out of his own house by his children with nothing but a hospital gown and dropped at a hospice with both legs amputated to die?  Have you ever helped coordinate a holiday party at a hospice so that the people living there can have some happiness? Or just simply held someones hand that needed some comfort.  Well, my partner and I of 15 years have.  I could go on and on but it is obviously wasted on someone like you that acts with such insolence. 

You wrote there are no right wing consertivative Christians running your news room.  Why would we need them when a gay man like you is out doing the same damage they do to get people to "tune in?"  You're an embarassment to our "community." 

Maybe you should do a story on Judy Reilly and her volenteers that work cooking and delivering meals for Loaves and Fishes, a meals on wheels program for persons living with AIDS that cannot always feed themselves. 

Next time put your ratings driven ego aside before you do any reporting on the gay community.
