So many things to do... and so little time. That seems to be the story of my life.

I don't know if it's my upcoming wedding anniversary, my upcoming birthday, or my sunburn that's making me so pensive lately. LOL

Whatever it is, I'm feeling rather odd tonight...overwhelmed by a mix of emotions.

Went back to work today following the 4-day weekend. I'm under a lot of deadline stress at work, and that's just my day job. Then, there's my other work as an editor, a contract Web designer, and of course a writer... which includes researching...plotting...critiquing...and PR work, such as chats...blogging...reading e-mails...designing & buying promo material...newsletters... *taking deep breath* ...contest planning...checking out potential ad locations...book-keeping...author interviews...review submissions... Yep, the list goes on and on.

One of these days, I'll get to bed so I can sleep on these thoughts; maybe then I'll come up with a plan for squeezing out more from my 24-hour days.

Next, boy, do I have some news to share... but where to begin... Hmm.

• My Author's Bio page is up at ParaNormal Romance Reviews.  And Desiree has already conducted an author interview with me that's supposed to appear sometime this month as part of a July promo on Cobblestone Press. And a review of the book should be coming soon, too. (I'll be sure to let you know they're up and where as soon as I know.)

• A fellow author friend pointed out there is a favorite Cobblestone Press author poll up for July over on the home page of Fallen Angel Reviews. I dropped by to check it out and, although my name didn't make the list, there is a spot for voters to write in an author's name. Yeah, I know... I have no shame.

Anyway, I think that's it for now.  I'm now off to the lake for some quality time with the hubby and son. OK...where did I leave my bathing suit? 

It's been an absolutely wonderful week!

First, I learned that I got a second "5" review on my LYCAN INSTINCT novel; this time, it received 5 Angels & Recommended Read (the highest honor a book can get) from Fallen Angels Reviews!  (Before that, it got  5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies.)

Then, I find out that despite being on sale for only part of the month, LYCAN INSTINCT made the Top 5 Best Sellers list at Cobblestone Press! I couldn't possibly have asked for a better birthday gift. (Yes, my birthday is coming up in July. *blush*)

The response has been super, so to all you readers out there who gave this "new" author a chance... THANK YOU with all my heart.

Thanks to Shelli Stevens, I've entered the world of "MySpace".

So, I'm learning to crawl before I walk, but I'm determined to run real soon, so please bear with me as I learn the ropes.
