www.razorstrike.com

Razor Strike is a new community built for the fans, by the fans.  The goal is to help bring marketing back to the fans and give you all a chance to have a better connections with the bands.

This site is also here to help nurture your creative side.  Whether you want to be a graphic designer, concert reviewer, cd reviewer, concert photographer or maybe you want to interview bands, we are here to help you reach your goals.

Let's say you want to be a concert photographer?  We have tickets for every Gunfire 76 show just for an inspiring photographer.  Let's say you want to do live concert reviews - well have tickets for every Bullets and Octane show.  You go to the shows - then you come come back and you post your pictures, reviews, etc on the site.

Maybe you're more interested in the graphics side of things?  We have left this site a blank page just for that reason - you want to create a logo - go for it.  We will help you build your portfolio.

Of course, then there are those who are more interested in the business side of things.  We are going to need people to help run this site.  We have many ideas that we are working on.  We will constantly be creating and adding new venues for people to express themselves and we want you - the fans - to be involved.  When wesay for the fans, by the fans.  We mean it!

Another plan is to now have you, the fan, help make all major announcements.  How about you being able to do a 30 second video announcing a new tour, a new album or any important news?  That's our goal.

Keep checking back as we really start kicking this off.  Thank for visiting and remember for the fans, by the fans!

From our manager:

I am looking for 4 or 5 fan reviews for the Gunfire 76 - Casualties & Tragedies and the Bullets and Octane - Laughing in the Face of failure cds.

I am working on a new project that is going to require a lot of feedback and interaction with/from fans.

I hope to launch this on or around Nov 5.

reviews - I am looking for unbiased reviews - professional - but from the fans. I don't want a review that states everything is amazing and it's the next coming of christ. I want a real review - strengths and weaknesses. Be honest.

For those of you who don't know in 1998 I started a company called Bandbitch, Inc. We were a marketing company for bands. Started as I helped some friends of mine who would eventually get signed and go platinum - Static-X. From there I, with the help from the street teams, worked over 100 bands - KISS, Pantera, Guns n Roses, Judas Priest, Powerman 5000, Disturbed - and on and on. www.myspace.com/..streetteammarketing

I got burnt out and really stopped doing it a few years back.

Some of the former street team members have used their past experience and really succeeded in the music industry. Rafacore got his start thru us - he recently shoot the Avenged Sevenfold DVD and tours with them and Disturbed on a regular basis.
Wednesday 13's tour manager - Beav - is a former street team member
There are a number of people who got involved and made a career.

But now.. I have a new idea that hopefully will present these same chances to a new generation.

Please email your reviews, by Nov 5, to info@devcoent.com We will pick what we feel are the most professional. These reviews will help launch the new idea and add some content. After that there will be open chances for you all to branch out to different fields and hopefully get involved with bands.

Hopefully this idea works as planned... there are never guarantees, but it should be fun!

Enjoy,

~jon
