In some parts of the world today is a day when many stop to reflect on the great battles of the past that have been waged by previous generations to ensure our freedoms. So it is in the spirit of this that we offer this following post. A memorial to those who have toiled, bled and died to free humanity from the Military Industrial Complex. For it is only when this abomination is finally defeated that the citizens of Earth will have a chance at some peace in their lives. It is the only true conflict that can 'End All Wars' and it has been raging for some time now.
So we take this opportunity to pause and remember some of the larger battles and uprisings that have been waged over the decades in the long rebellion against the Complex. Sadly there is not enough room to fit the great many battles that have been fought, and are still being fought, to this end. There has been no magic bullet decisive victory to date that has led to the downfall of the Complex and indeed it is more powerful than ever today. (However one must not lose hope and must keep on fighting as some headway has been made. The very fact that an all out Nuclear holocaust has not yet engulfed the world is because of this constant rebellion that keeps restraining the Complex somewhat in its endeavours.) So lacking somewhat in space and time we have selected some of the better known and larger battles. This is in no way to lessen or demean the impact of others that the viewer may feel are 'missing' from this list. Similarly the focus of this post on Euro centric resistance is purely to do with the cultural understandings of the posters and does not mean it is a better struggle than those that occur in the third world to the same end. We just don't know enough about other cultural understandings of the struggle.
Not all the battles that are remembered here took place in a physical sense but were in fact metaphysical battles. We cast no judgment on which tactic is better. In fact we are of the opinion that only a balanced approach with both tactics used can ever hope to achieve liberation for the human race. So those who risked their limbs in physical conflict are no better or worse than those who risked their minds in the metaphysical realms that can be created against the Complex. As long as the participants were aware of the liberational movement they were involved in they are remembered with much love and thanks for their tireless efforts.
So on with the memorial. You will see 'The People' in times of joy and victory over the Complex and you will see them in times of defeat and pain. But as yet neither side can be said to have achieved a victory over the other. So this long weary conflict drags on. But for now we pause to remember those who gave their all for the cause.
'The Summer of Love' San Francisco U.S.A Summer 1967
..
'The Pentagon Riots' Washington DC U.S.A October 21-22 1967
'Woodstock' Bethel U.S.A August 15-18 1969
Black Panther Headquarters Raid Los Angeles U.S.A December 1969
'The Kent State Massacre' Kent U.S.A May 1-4 1970
'The Siege of Wounded Knee' Wounded Knee R.O.L February 27 – May 8 1973
'The Stonehenge Free Festival' Stonehenge U.K. Every June 1972 - 1984
'The Battle Of the Beanfield' Wiltshire U.K. June 1 1985
The aborted attempt to hold another Stonehenge Festival in 1985 erupted into what became known as the Battle of the Beanfield. Police blocked passage of the crew who were on there way to set up the Temporary Autonomous Zone and the following ensued:
'The Second Summers Of Love' U.K Summer 1988 & 1989
The advent of Acid House and the beginnings of the Raveolution:
'The Raveolution' Worldwide 1990 - 2000
"The Battle Of Seattle" Seattle U.S.A November 30 – December 2 1999
Riding high on the wave of enlightenment that had swept the world during the "Roaring Nineties" more and more people began to wake up to some of the more malicious controls the Complex was beginning to exert over them. So a bubbling movement of resistance began to take shape towards the end of the decade that exploded into the lime light, just shy of the new millennium, in the town of Seattle where an arm of the Complex was meeting. A new physical resistance had begun:
"S11" Melbourne Australia September 11-13 2000
The rebellion that began in Seattle sweeps the world:
"The 27th G8 Summit" Genoa Italy July 18 –July 22 2001
The uprising that had been sparked in Seattle over a year before had swept the world. Anywhere an arm of the Complex had tried to meet it had been met with mass demonstrations and conflict all across the globe. This wave of rebellion had now been going for over a year when it finally reached an inevitable crescendo with the bloody events that took place in Genoa Italy at the G8 Summit:
Of course most people remember what came next a couple of months later in September of 2001:
Whether the Complex was responsible for this atrocity, as the evidence suggests, or not the effect has been a solid 7 years of conflict since. As our blog has been covering most of what has occurred post 911 we will end our memorial here for the time being. Thanks to all who have sacrificed for humanities freedom!
KEEP RESISTING!
We would like to take the time to correct a previous post. In our post, "The Collapse Accelerates", it was suggested that a World War triggering showdown between the US and Iran was now no longer an option as a stalemate in the proxy war between the two powers, inside Iraq, had precipitated a new 'Cold War' between the foes. Unfortunately this stalemate lasted only days when the US violated the cease fire with Moqtada Al-Sadr and continued to press home attacks against his forces leaving the situation thus:

So it seems sadly a larger showdown with Iran is still possible, economy permitting.
For years those pesky "Liberal" rabble continued to regale us with their ridiculous fantasy that one day Oil would run out, civilisation would begin to wholesale shut down and the ruling world elite would usher in their 'New World Order'. What a preposterous load of claptrap those pinko lefties believe in. As all true conservatives know that would NEVER happen. They DARED to suggest that the wars in the middle east were part of this whole machination. These fantasists even went so far as to suggest that Oil would rise to being more expensive than $100 a barrel. These brain damaged left leaning morons need to be taught a lesson. Its quite obvious as one looks around the world that there is no evidence anything like that could possibly ever happen!!!
Now one should set about discussing the great Liberal conspiracy of so called "Cli-mate Chaaaange" with them. Fools.
Here we go!! The great adventure has begun!! Good luck everyone!!

A massive blow was dealt today to the hope for sanity in the future:
As he says on his website "A greater military commitment now is necessary if we are to achieve long-term success in Iraq. John McCain agrees with retired Army General Jack Keane that there are simply not enough American forces in Iraq. More troops are necessary to clear and hold insurgent strongholds; to provide security for rebuilding local institutions and economies; to halt sectarian violence in Baghdad and disarm Sunni and Shia militias; to dismantle al Qaeda; to train the Iraqi Army; and to embed American personnel in Iraqi police units. Accomplishing each of these goals will require more troops and is a crucial prerequisite for needed economic and political development in the country."
Didn't Bush even end up admitting that "Clear Hold Build" was a failed strategy?? At any rate it will probably be a moot point regardless as the silly Americans plunge headlong to their own destruction. What will they be paying these soldiers they send with?? Salt?? There are stormclouds gathering in the "Fatherland" that indicate there will be some serious financial shenanigans to contend with.
Seems we bunnies have a very strong oral tradition in which we remember quite clearly how you stupid apes resolved your LAST financial DEpression:
All we Bunnies can say is that if you are all really contemplating going through all this again then you really are a pack of stupid USELESS fucking monkeys that never learn!!!!!!
