jason and i are getting married in the spring, even though neither of us are too keen on the idea of marrage, since not everyone that loves each other are allowed to get hitched yet. i can't think of anyone i'd rather sit on a porch swing and knit scarves with when i'm an old lady. it's gonna happen in a field in annapolis with a vegan pot luck for the reception. the rev brian hefler is doing the honors. i'm such a dork, i've never been this happy before....

what is being homesick? well, what is home? is it a familarity or is it a feeling always chased but never found? for me home is where you lay your head so i'm always home. but then again i'm always homesick cause i'm forever chasing a feeling that comes now and again in a group of people(a family if you will). it's when everyone has such motivation and drive a hope for the future, you don't know what the hell is coming but you know it's gonna be good. jeff and i were talking about this last spring. this is when i feel home. this picture on my profile, that's home. driving and singing along to ani in my car, that's home. i guess what i'm tring to say is i miss you guys a lot. and, at the risk of being cheesy, your friendships have been the best gift i could ever ask for, espically those that have stayed with me thru all the bullshit and never gave up on me. i'll never give up on you either. so, for the holidays lets think about friends and home, not some bullshit capitalist version of being "home for the holidays". as long as we have each other, we're always home. la la love ya candice
