THE EVENT
I HEART Inc presents The Million Dollar Revival a benefit for Fran Drescher's Cancer Schmancer Movement. The Million Dollar Revival will be a Los Angeles style melting pot of the finest live music and comedy, an unholy marriage of acts one would never imagine appearing together on the same bill...until now. On December 13th, 2009 artists from all walks of life will combine forces for this one of a kind benefit. Join us for an eclectic evening true to the era of old-time variety shows at the legendary Million Dollar Theatre and help raise funding for low income, uninsured women of Los Angeles to receive free women’s cancer screening tests right in their own neighborhoods.

THE LINE-UP
Hosted by Fran Drescher featuring Jackson Browne, The Bird and the Bee*, Olivia-Newton John, Beth Nielsen Chapman, The Whispertown2000, Chris Pierce, Arrica Rose & the...'s, Charlotte Martin, Caitlin Crosby, Charlyne Yi, Mortified, Stilt World and more! Special guest Namrata Singh Gujral. VIP party held immediately after the event at 213 Nightlife's Broadway Bar, catered by Bottega Louie, special guest DJs provided by Hunnypot. THE CAUSE
It is the goal of The Million Dollar Revival to raise funds for the Cancer Schmancer/Inner Images Fran Van Project, an invaluable endeavor that will provide much needed medical information, cancer screening tests and free follow-up care to women in need throughout the city of Los Angeles. Cancer Survivor, Actress, US Diplomat and Women’s Health Advocate Fran Drescher has dedicated her life to ensuring that all women, rich or poor, young or old, will only be diagnosed with cancer while in Stage 1 when it’s most curable. To this end she has begun the Cancer Schmancer Fran Van Project. In addition to funding the Fran Van Project, this event will also be a celebration of the rejuvenation and revitalization of downtown L.A.

*Inara George will be performing Bird and the Bee songs as well as solo material.

A Pablove Foundation Benefit Update
We sincerely regret to announce that Charlotte Martin is no longer performing at A Pablove Foundation Benefit due to a severe rib injury. We apologize for the inconvenience, but Charlotte needs this time to fully recuperate and is asking all of her fans to support the Pablove Foundation and attend tomorrow’s event.

Hey Everyone!

I want to thank those peeps that made it out to the shows on the East Coast. I also want to thank those of you who participated in the song requests! We all really had a wonderful road trip, it was just entirely too short of an event. I know there's lots of videos and recordings, so I encourage you to spread the love and share with your friends...especially those in Europe or Japan that have yet to catch a live show.

I'm home and back in the full swing of the album and hope to finish it early next year. I'll keep you posted as things progress, I promise.

Pablove Across America, the coast-to-coast cycling journey of hope and education spearheaded by Dangerbird co-founder Jeff Castelaz, will conclude in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 21, with a benefit concert at Avalon in Hollywood. The night will be a celebration of Castelaz’s incredible triumph, and devoted to the Pablove Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to child life programs as well as children’s cancer research and treatment. A bevy of supporters will join to perform acoustic and semi-acoustic sets including, Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Shirley Manson, Butch Walker, Tom Gabel (Against Me!), Jarrod Gorbel (the Honorary Title) and Charlotte Martin, with other major artists to be announced shortly. Tickets are $35 (GA) and $65 (VIP) and will go on sale this Saturday, October 31. All proceeds will go to the Foundation. Additional details available here.

Charlotte is releasing tour exclusive merch on the upcoming run of dates. On September 30 at the World Cafe Live, Charlotte releases - Rarities .6 - the last of the rarities series (limit two per customer) and the brand new Piano Trees, the 24-song collection featuring unedited, improvisational piano pieces from 2005-current.
