Back home and busy, busy, busy! I wanted to get on here and write about my week in Malta this morning but my phone's been ringing off the hook since it woke me up this morning (at 10 am, admittedly). I guess a week away can be a long time in Model Land! Anyway, I have lots of photos to share, and have even created a new photo album just for all my travel photos! This was the view from my window seat as we flew over the Alps. The tips of the mountains were breaking through a lake of cloud. I was modelling for Damian McGillicuddy's seminars at the SWPP's Maltese Workshop as well as shooting a commission for Am Statik latex, so lots of shiny rubbery photos to follow shortly! Here is one from the seminar (dress by Anatomic Bomb): Damian gave the delegates a classic warning before we started shooting: "You will all get a chance to shoot the model, so do not take un-posed photos. Un-posed photos are when she isn't ready to be shot. It's rude, it's unprofessional, and if I catch anyone doing it, I will break your camera, closely to be followed by both your legs."DAMIAN = WIN He has also posted a lovely art nude we shot on the seafront at dawn in his blog. I took some snaps on the way down from the hotel: The pool I went swimming in every day- for some reason it was my favourite one
One of the many fisherman who appeared seemingly out of nowhere as soon as we started shooting and packed up as soon as we left Dawn over the Mediterranean Sea. As soon as we'd finished shooting, I went swimming in the sea. It was a lovely temperature and crystal clear-blue <3 Then I shot with Lesley McGillicuddy and then we all had lunch :) I love Maltese food! On this trip I ate "proper" octopus (apparently calamari rings don't count) for the first time, which was delicious, as well as various other nommy lunches
and six course dinners involving giant mussels, prawns, clams, salmon,
caviar, pigeon, swordfish, a thousand different cheeses and pastas and little Maltese desserts that tended to be
intensely sweet and served in tiny, delicious portions. This was the view from one of the Executive Lounge's balconies, where we had breakfast and hung out eating olives and drinking cappuccinos at some point most days (needless to say, I was plastered in factor 50 all week, it was sooo hot and sunny!)
This was my room: The view from my private balcony at various times (night and moonrise):
I was highly amused on Sunday to spot Damian talking about our work on the Maltese national news during their report on our visit. The Awards Dinner that evening was particularly fabulous. This is me getting ready in my marble bathroom (where I fell asleep in the bath reading psychology textbooks more than once during the week, lol): I was surprised and deeply honoured to be mentioned during the awards ceremony and presented with a beautiful book of the Maltese Institute of Professional Photographers' photography called To Light and Inspire, signed by the President, as well as a silver engraved mirror compact from the SWPP. On Monday we were taken out for a touristy day but I will post about that later as this blog is getting rather long ;)
It's good to be back, everyone, and I am just so grateful to the SWPP for contracting me for this adventure and to Damian for working with me at all hours of the day and night to make some great images! Now to get on with answering a week's worth of email inquiries and party invites :D

As soon as I finish my job tomorrow I'm straight on the train to Warrington to meet up with Damian McGillicuddy, crashing at a hotel, then getting up in time for our 4 am flight to Malta for a week of work in the sun :D Each day's work is apparently going to be relatively short, so hopefully there will be plenty of time for a bit of sightseeing and some relaxing at the hotel, which I could really do with as I haven't had a day off in sooo long! Anyway, if you email me after this blog has been posted, I will aim to get a reply to you by the evening of 4th November!

Despite feeling so deathly yesterday evening that I could barely lift my handbag, Liam and I wrapped up and headed down to check out the protest going on outside the BBC Television Centre against Nick Griffin's appearance on Question Time. It was pretty interesting as I don't think I've ever been to a protest before, but looking around at the crowd I felt increasingly alienated from them by signs like these ones: Obviously I believe in the exact opposite of more or less everything the BNP has to say, but I'm not sure that fighting hatred with hatred is necessarily the way forward, and I don't want to "smash" anybody, just decrease their support by proving them wrong, and, best case scenario, opening their minds too.
It was interesting to see the mix of people who'd turned out though. As well as Unite Against Fascism, there was the National Union of Students, National Union of Teachers, feminist groups, the Socialist Workers and Socialist Workers' Student Union, individual colleges and universities, MPs, punks, people old enough to remember and have taken part in WWII, people too young to buy cigarettes, hippies, businessmen, the lot. It was also interesting to note that a good 90% of the flash mob appeared to be white. After propping myself up with a revolting "latte" from Burger King (amusingly, we had to go round the back as the staff at the Westfield Shopping Centre had deliberately locked themselves in) we went back outside to catch the action as the rest of the protesters were apparently chasing Griffin's car as it left. At least, I assume that's what they were doing.
(The initial camera bounce is due to me jumping down a flight of steps to get a better look and the cackle at the end is Liam!) We got home in time to get the kettle on and watch the show, and to be perfectly honest I was actually really glad that Griffin was given a "platform" for his views, because he succeeded unaided in demonstrating not only his extremist views but also his pitiful lack of knowledge, research and basic common sense. He was physically shaking from start to finish and I don't blame him- he finally got his wish, to be allowed to leave the dim, cosy shelter of the local pub or village hall where he usually preaches to a small choir, and gain access to debate face-to-face with serious, mainstream politicians in front of millions of the British public and discovered in the process that he's just not up to it. He is now claiming that he was bullied! Ironic much, for a scapegoating hate-monger?! His complaint is something about it being unfair to have allowed non-white audience members to ask him questions?? o_O He was caught out in lie after lie and self-contradiction after self-contradiction, as well as being openly homophobic (his entire explanation for his party's opposition to homosexuality was "because most people find the sight of men kissing in public really creepy." Good to know he really thinks hard about his policies before attempting to legislate against the sex lives of 10% of the population, isn't it?). For those of you that didn't watch it, it's honestly worth it for the lulz, even if you're not particularly interested in politics- click here to watch the whole thing on YouTube.

I'm off to harass the British Nazi National Party *dons red and black stripy jumper* For those of you aren't particularly aware of them, they are an illegal fringe political party who believe that only white people are British and all non-white British people should be forced out of the UK. It was started by John Tyndall in 1982. For my US friends, they are basically the British equivalent of the KKK. This is Tyndall: Apart from the obvious logical and moral problems with their various policies, they seem to be under the illusion that the UK is not in fact over 90% white anyway, since their literature rather suggests that "we" (white people) are about to be "overrun" by "them" (the very small minority of black and Asian people currently living in the UK). Their policies also involve making homosexuality illegal and denying the Holocaust ever took place. Fun! Their security steward, David Copeland, admitted to setting off nail bombs in London targeting gay people and anyone who wasn't white in an attempt to start a race war that would scare people into voting for the BNP. And tonight Nick Griffin is on Question Time! I pay my TV license and that will actually pay for him to appear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think so. Toodles!

My Anatomic Bomb sailor suit finally arrived, and they even sent me a free pair of sequined nautical pasties too :D It's the same as this outfit: But made to measure for me in my choice of colours (plus pasties!):
It has to go with bright red lipstick, nail polish and high heels, I feel :D

I just ordered a few pairs of shoes from this uber-cheap site full of weird and wonderful footwear. Sadly, as it's American, it cost me more to pay the shipping than to buy the shoes themselves, but I thought I'd mention it all the same as I believe my American friends would get free shipping! They didn't have everything I wanted in my size, which is probably fortunate for my bedroom as I literally have shoes and boots avalanching out of my wardrobe and being stored under the bed and on shelves and anywhere else I can find atm. I should really have a clear-out soon! Anyway, this is what I did eventually order! I got a new pair of leopard print tights and a feathery belt to go with a fascinator I'm going to be modelling for Amore De Mori soon, too. I'm really bad for buying extra accessories for shoots when I'm really interested in the concept >.< My multiple shoegasm reminded me of this hilarious video that a friend blessed me by sharing years ago... oh my GAHD, shews!! XD

Forgot to mention I got my hair cut the other day. Not dramatically different from the last cut, just a little more dramatic, longer at the front and shorter and more "tailored" at the back, courtesy of Simon Pinto at Mahogany :)

Gig last night was quite fun, although I was shocked and horrified to see Akercocke with short hair (well, the singer anyway) and wearing jeans and tee-shirts!!! My video records the evidence (it gets more melodic after the first minute, promise): Maybe I'm just not tr00 enough- well, I know I'm not really- but half of what I love about Akercocke is their whole early C20th English gentleman Satanist supping red wine and knowing which fork to eat the sacrificial goat with thing, not to mention their fusion of the traditional death metal guitars, hyper-fast drumming and Cookie Monster vocals with more melodic Hammer Horror style singing, mysterious wind instruments from the Middle East that sound like something out of The Exorcist: The Beginning and even elements of drum 'n' bass, which is really what sparked my interest in the first place. They should get their well-read asses back in their Savile Road suits, stat. Having said all this, I did enjoy myself last night, having a good old sweaty rock-out in a dingy underground venue, meeting various band members and Liam's other Camden friends and sipping lemon water all the while, 'cos I had to get up at 5 this morning for my shoot. Forgot to get my copy of Satanism and Witchcraft signed though, d'oh! That would have been badass. If you bothered to read all that, here's a new (18+) photo for you :) Oh, and happy Divali!

Oscar WildeStephen Fry has alerted me by Tweet that it is Oscar Wilde's birthday today! I think I shall celebrate by getting a manicure and a facial. Well okay, I was going to do that today anyway. Remember the photo I took of his statue in Dublin? SatanLiam took me to the Underworld to see Akercocke last night and didn't realise until we'd watched the fourth bouncy punk band in a row that we'd come on the wrong night! Lol. The bouncers clearly thought we were morons but in fairness they did check our tickets before letting us in! So we kind of got a free night out. So, off to actually see Akercocke tonight, but I'll be sticking to mineral water and lemon wedges this time because I'm shooting all weekend. BoobiesNew (18+) photo by Adam Robertson > HERE< I like the eyes best :) Oh my!And here is another one from the Yerburys' Fetish Fashion Workshop: Not many people have commented on the pin-up shots in my last blog; did you guys not like them?

These are also from my morning at Lordship Park and there are still more to come! That place has so many completely differently heavily styled rooms that we got all inspired to do loads of different stuff :) There's one more with a slight hint of nipple, which makes it only suitable for those aged 18 or over, here :) Photographer: Adam RobertsonMakeup: me My co.uk redirection for my site has finally conked out so my current addresses are: www.anitadebauch.webs.com anitadebauch@hotmail.co.ukMy friend Jez is re-doing my whole site from scratch as when I finally got it, it wasn't what I asked for, so anitadebauch.com is still in the making. It will be worth it, I promise!
On a happier note, I got some cool news yesterday- I don't want to jinx it, but if all goes to plan, I will be shooting for a major international client with a world-class photographer in a whole new continent before Christmas! :D

Here's a photo from my recent shoot for Am Statik latex- more to follow, and I'm also walking for them at their runway show at Festival of Sins on 12th December :) I was modelling for the Yerburys' Fetish Workshop at Maunsel House today, which is a gorgeous olde English home (now a boutique hotel), parts of which, according to the website, are nearly 1000 years old! It's full of oil paintings of ancient ancestors, heavy oak four poster beds, antique weaponry, suits of armour, stained glass, taxidermy, gold leaf bone china tea sets, crystal chandeliers, winding staircases and high-ceilinged corridors, dark oak panelling, funny little Gothic doorways, claw-footed bath tubs, open wood fires, etc etc etc! Here's one of the rooms we were shooting in: I saw some of the photos on backs of people's cameras and they looked really good, can't wait to see the final results! I already got a personal thank-you email from one of the delegates too, which was really sweet :) Just remembered I'm going to Malta at the end of this month with Damian McGillicuddy, woohoo! Hope my cute new sailor suit from Anatomic Bomb has arrived by then, because our 5* hotel is right by the sea! :D

I already have a photo back from Maxime from our shoot on Saturday! In case you are wondering why I look short it's because I'm doing that thigh-busting "sitting on an invisible chair" move against the door while wearing ballet boots :p I'm quite pleased with how the hair and makeup came out. I'm going to Somerset tomorrow to visit my family (including my dad, who's visiting from the US) and then modelling for the Yerburys' Fetish Workshop on Wednesday :D

Shot with Maxime Avet yesterday, which was cool as I have been wanting to shoot with him for ages :) We did some fetish fashion and a teeny bit of bondage before I changed back into breathable fabrics and he, René de Parade and I had dinner before Tony Mitchell, Roswell Ivory and another latex lady whose name I can't remember arrived and we drank lots of wine and listened to amazing throwback music like Aqua, Backstreet Boys and Vengaboys XD Then we parted ways, them to Torture Garden and me home because I had to get up at 6 to model for a class all day today! One of the photographers at the class has already forwarded me a photo!
