The idea of having to go out and surround yourself around a bunch of shitty people and fight over items to buy for people doesn't make sense to me. I'm not Christian but correct me if I'm wrong, Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ. Not spending hundreds of dollars on tons of products, and trampling people to death in order to save a few dollars while your doing it. Why the fuck should we have to go out and spend money on people to say "Hey you're cool, and I appreciate you"? Christmas is no longer about the birth of Jesus Christ. It's about for some reason embracing greedy materialistic people, who HAVE to have that certain item. Followed by this item. Oh yeah and that one too. It just all seems so ridiculous to me. And as I said, I'm not religious and I don't claim a religion so the true meaning of Christmas is something I don't particularly celebrate. But even with that said, it still doesn't have to be a greedy materialistic holiday. What's wrong with just sitting around with friends and hanging out and having a good time. To me that seems much more rewarding than fighting traffic and awful people to buy a bunch of crap.

But what do I know. I apparently don't celebrate either meaning of Christmas.

- I used to be able to write all the time. Now I still down to write about stuff and I just stare around the room not being able to think of anything. Does that mean I don't have anything interesting to say anymore, or what?

- FACT. It has been proven that The Dark Knight will be the greatest thing ever bestowed upon this entire galaxy.

- Here is my theory on why Viral Marketing is so awesome: It takes your every day average Joe, such as me, and throws them into an environment that says "HEY! Screw your job, and everything else you do in routine all day every day." It makes you feel as if you're part of this awesome thing going on, and puts you in the middle of it. Year Zero was so memorable because, it wasn't just released. No way, fans had to find songs hidden in venues, and I was personally assigned a standard felon identity used on an actual Year Zero website. I was a part of that album. The same way I am apart of The Dark Knight in the sense that I campaigned for Harvey Dent in westport, and performed a scavenger hunt for The Joker to be able to watch the new trailer. But basically when it comes down to it, everything I just said translates to: "Wow, Richard. You have no life and are terribly nerdy".

- I really want to go to college for Digital Media. Whether it's Graphic Design or Video Production or what. It's gotta happen. I want to have a career in it. I don't want to work small jobs my entire life and never actually do anything with myself.

- Growing up is really lame, in the sense that..a major portion of my friends that I used to have, I either just never get to talk to anymore or I get to every once and a while. Whether it's because of really stupid grudges or because of just growing apart, it sucks. And I can't help but always blame myself for growing apart from people. Go me!

- I decided to take a break from writing in Leslie's Journal Project (still workin' on it, Laslo!) to make this. I hope my journal project isn't as whiny as this is. I'm not entirely trying to complain about everything either.

- That piece was recorded live at the famous 1 Second Club in 1944. It was inspired by the clarity of consciousness, rather than the vividness of dream. And was the pinacle of broken bridges and test pressure.
