My new web styling is live. I am happy with how similar it looks in Firefox3, Safari3, Opera9, and (with a little cludging) even the Internet Explorer7. It was a little bit of work, but I tihnk these might be the best looking "buttons" I've ever done, even if they don't have a pressed state, I've wanted to use translucent .pngs for a long time.
The code-side is very modular, and the layout reflects it. I think it looks modern, and lets me plug and rearrange bits later. It should take seconds to add ca ool link and a few minutes for an interactive/informative panel. Hopefully, the design scales from mobile browsers, to widescreens at home. Feedback on that appreciated!
I think it looks mac-inspired to some degree, but not more than I can live with. I was going for something between Ikea's furniture and Wipeout. In the end, I toned down the techno elements to make it easier on the eyes.
Here it is in the latest versions of four browsers (PC). Yay.

Speaking of which, I've got to say that if you use the web lightly, and usually use *whatever*, check out the Safari 3.1 browser- elegant and presents pages vividly. O' course, if you use the web heavily, I hope you've already updated to Firefox 3 (or Opera 9½, if that's your thing).
