Everyone. I threw my phone across the room and broke it in little pieces. So I do have a new phone and same number, but I lost your number. I lost everyone's number. It would be really cool if you called and gave me your number. Fuckin whatever we never talk anymore anyway. nevermind

I had the best dream. I was in the back of a bus with some friends and a couple of strangers. The bus had crashed and we were all trying to figure out if everyone was okay. It seems like most people were okay.  I asked this guy with a ball cap and scruffy facial hear about Anna. He kind of pointed forward and said that she was dead. And, I thought "pff, no way, Anna never dies."
So I walked up to Anna as she was lieing in the front of the bus. I could see that she was all bruised up along her back and especially around her neck. With her back turned she was looking directly at me, as if her neck was broken. She said to me "Your right, Chris, I never die. I never die."
Then she began to levetate. She continued to ascend higher and higher. I  remember thinking  "She falling right up into the sky!" Except  as she got higher and higher you  could see bubbles all over the place as if we were in water. Rather than floating to a surface, Anna was falling upwards slowly toward a bright light. Meanwhile her body was transforming. She was a little baby, and she was being pushed toward the light.
When she was born, I awoke. I thought "God Damn, I get it! I get why people believe in stuff like reincarnation." Now, I don't think I believe in that exactly, but I really understand why somebody would.

A Birthday Poem for Chris
by Cheryl Rockwell

Yesterday you turned 28
doubtless the celebration ran late
Hopefully no drunken crimes did you perpitrate
and MSU sophomores you did not urinate

For if before the public you do urinate
the cops will come to interrogate
Consequently your belligerence will aggravate
As a result you be an inmate

Your friends will then try to vindicate
then Nate and Steve will they incarcerate
In the cell you will have time to ruminate
and these acts of stupidity to terminate

Your sisters will fly in to mediate
If unsuccessful, lawuers must arbitrate
Between you, the DA, and the magistrate
and the bail money the court must authenticate
And bail bondsmen won't offer a good interest rate
Your sisters' displeasure will they annunciate
And your regrets will you once more reinterate
To Nate and Steve- make apologies in triplicate

A moral these words do implicate:
Beer you may imbibe and cake you may masticate
Drunken, disorderly conduct- do not overrate
To you, Chris, this birthday poem I do dedicate.

And that's as for as I got.
