This is a unedited no holds barred video conversation with Reggie Bannister from the Phantasm films and Bubba Hotep at the Fright Night Film Festival in Louisville, Kentucky.

In this interview the Regman talks his about his next role in Walking Distance, a film by Mel House. Walking Distance is in production in Houston, Texas.

Walking Distance is the story of A idyllic, small, self-sufficient community. On the surface, it seems like the perfect neighborhood. Everything you could possibly need is within Walking Distance. But...the pastoral exterior conceals a dark past and an even darker secret. As a group of individuals - each with their own ties and agendas with the town and each other - converges on the enclave, strange things begin to happen. Very strange things. Strange enough to test (and then break) the very fabric of reality itself.

Everyone wants a homecoming, but in this case you really can't ever go home again. No matter how hard you try, you can't escape your past, and you can't outrun yourself. Both are always within Walking Distance.

Regman also talks about the hype on Phantasm V, Politics, The 2008 Election, The Reggie Bannister Band, and lots more. Check it out and get to know the Regman up close and personal!

Tomorrow !!! Gurdy Arrives 100 Tears hits stores and internet!

100 Tears is a grim and twisted horror film from director Marcus Koch that explores the depths of depravity in which the human mind can ultimately sink. Saturated with graphic violence, and extreme gore, 100Tears aims to give gorehounds what they've been wanting for years.

100 TEARS - A film by Marcus Koch

Show you loved one that you care this X-mas, buy them the bloodiest slaughterfest ever!!!!

http://www.anthemdvd.com/catalog/100_tears/main.htm

Starring Joe Davison, Raine Brown, Georgia Chris, Jack Amos

Directed by Marcus Koch

Screenplay by Joe Davison

Those with Coulrophobia ( exaggerated fear of clowns ) need not to watch this film. 100 Tears is the story of two reporters, Mark ( Joe Davison ) and Jennifer (Georgia Chris), That are hell bent on finding a story that will take them to the big time. Their journey leads them straight into the path of the gruesome murders of The Teardrop Killer. While investigating the crime scenes and pretty much doing the Detective's jobs, they uncover that the killings are connected to Gurdy ( a once harmless carnival clown turned psychopath )

There is no clowning around in this film. 100 Tears is a non-stop in your face gorefest extravaganza. The killing starts at the beginning and doesn't let you take a breath until the end. Marcus Koch (Director and the blood, sweat and tears of Oddtopsy FX) did an incredible job of keeping on course with the plot and still maintaining a bloodbath at ever turn. The thing that most horror films can't do today. In my opinion horror films today either bore you with to much dialogue or have a plotless film with a bunch of meaningless killing in it. I was impressed to see that Koch was able to find a happy medium between the two.

The second thing that stuck out in the film was the chemistry between Mark and Jennifer. Their characters continue to grow throughout the film. Davison was funny and sarcastic and Brown was witty and sincere. While only partners in the film, you definitely get the since that they strongly care for each other ( Mark a little more than Jennifer).

The other characters were just as energetic, but I felt that there needed to be a little more explanation of the other carnie's role in the story. The film gave an outline back story but you can tell there was more participation from the rest of the carnival in what was happening.I guess for a full explanation, we can only hope for a sequel.

With all of that and a killer soundtrack that only excites and intensifies the film.
100Tears exceeds your normal indie horror and competes with the big boys.I know this will not be the last we hear from Koch and Davison. If you did not get to see this in theaters or festivals earlier this year you will still get your chance. 100 Tears is being distributed SJW and Grindstone Entertainment, then Anthem DVD in the good old US of A. The 100 Tears DVD is due out nationwide by the end of this year and I am hoping to see some outtakes and behind the scenes footage in the home video release.

All in all, 100Tears is a big top blood splattering attraction. Gurdy with his gigantic meat clever makes Pennywise look as harmless as Bozo the Clown. I highly recommend this film and I am glad to see a Killer Clown back in the spotlight once again.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I am just awaking from my feasting coma, that may or may not be induced by Tryptophan? That is the myth of why the Thanksgiving Feast makes you so sleepy. I tend to think that it is a carbohydrates and over eating that knocks you out. I mean thanksgiving is like eating a pasta sandwich on white bread with a side order of mash potatoes and mac and cheese. It taste better than that, but any stoner or ex-stoner can tell you pasta sandwiches are awesome!

Also, below is the trailer for the new flick 2012 with John Cusack. It is based on the belief that the world will end on December 12 or 21 ( depending on where you hear the story from) 2012, due to the end of the Mayan calendar. I am sure this film will be kick ass, as I love even lame low budget made for TV disaster movies. I can not predict the future so I can't be curtain that the end will not come before Christmas 2012, but I can however predict that if it doesn't this will be a flick that everyone makes fun of come 2013. I definitely think folks should check it out one because most people are suckers for John Cusack and two this might be the film where we don't save the world. I have been waiting on a film where the disaster defeats us. No Hollywood happy ending! Like Armageddon, if it was the real world those oil drillers would have blew up on the asteroid and we would have all been destroyed. If we didn't choose to blow ourselves up first. If it is the end the plan is simple, put those stupid tactics the government taught us to use. Take the sheet plastic and duct tape from the anthrax and chemical scares. Wrap the plastic around your head, then get someone to tightly bind your hands and feet with duct tape, tightly duct tape the plastic around your neck. Then have them to place you under a school desk (because you know that is the safest place in the world, we learned that from the nuclear bomb scares). Then kiss your ass good by and hope that you suffocate before the end.

Or in the words of Maynard James Keenan "Learn To Swim!"

An Interview with Jenny Wade A.K.A. Honey Pie by Cinezombi

We all ways ask ourselves, "What is the next horror classic, that will break all boundaries. Then when and where you least expect it, a soon to be horror classic comes out of nowhere. The soon to be a classic I am talking about is Feast. When I heard about Feast a few years ago, I thought, "Oh, god Ben Affleck and Matt Damon is involved, this is sure to be garbage!" But I couldn't have been more wrong. Feast was one of the most intense wacky horror films that I had ever seen. John Gulager had grabbed hold of horror fans chairs and was taking us on a roller coaster ride of blood, monster sex and violence. After watching it I truly could not wait for the sequel. Our wait for Feast 2 is finally over and a third part of the twisted saga is coming almost back to back.

Last month I had a chance to chat with Jenny Wade, Honey Pie from the Feast films. She gave us some inside scoops and knowledge about the twisted mind of Gulager and what to expect from the next two films.
