Hmmmm, and yet MORE than 2????
Reputations, would you rather…
Be the person next door or the fantasy person that appears unattainable? (explain)
I'd prefer to be the person that I am, and that would be 'the girl next door' type. Sure, I like to play dress up and be all girly-girly, but on busy days I have no time for those trappings. I'd rather be appreciated for what I do and how I act than how I look, because on those BUSY days? Scary!
Lie to maintain a "goody-goody" rep or not care what people thought about you? (explain)
I don't care what people think about me. Did I just say that? LOL! What I mean is that I don't care what people who don't know me think about me, but I do care, too deeply often times, what people who DO know me think about me. Still, I have learned that lying is an exhausting business, and trying to keep up with what story was told to whom is too taxing for me.
Go back in time to undo your mistakes or deal with the mistakes and learn from it? (explain)
Given little thought, I would instinctively say I would love to go undo my mistakes, however, I am a huge HUGE believer in allowing ALL life experinces to mold you. Including the heartbreaking sucky experiences. So, if I hadn't made the mistakes and learned from the mistakes, I wouldn't be the wonderful individual you see standing before you today...er, that is, the wonderful individual you are reading about, today.
Be friends with people that make you look good or people that make you appear to have an edge? (explain)
Are they my friends, or are they friends that are to make me look good or edgy? Poseurs! I'd rather be with people who are my friends, who get me and who I get. Some of my best friends in the whole world are 'nerdy', some are 'edgy' and some are up-standing citizen types. I believe we all bring something to our friendships. I have no idea what I bring, honestly, but I do know I have some very talented, highly moral and intelligent friends. We aiiight. I think just surviving to this advanced age without breaking a hip is pretty good, and not a little edgy.
Stay friends with a person that betrays you or break it off and not give her/him another chance? (explain)
I am a HUGE believer in 2nd chances. "Fool me once, Shame on you. Fool me twice, Shame on me." I have improved with age. I used to believe 'Forgive, but never forget'. The only problem is, that if you can't forgive AND forget, it's really difficult to fully forgive. All that remembering, you see..
