10 Reasons why you should book a 3V! For those of you who are not familiar with "the 3V tour" let me get you up to speed. 3V is an incredible high energy high impact outreach strategy. 3V consists of a BMX bike stunt team, a concert band,Clear Vision Drama Company,an occasional Illusionist,and a multi-media production. 3V is a 3 day (Mon.-Wed.) endeavor where during the day we would be in as many local schools in your area that you can book. In that assembly we put together a top notch character building assembly for teens. The assembly lasts around 45 minutes. We can usually average 8 school assemblies in those 3 days. The Wed. night at a public school gymnasium or a civic center we will have the 3V concert exhibition. Where the students will jam out to Rock and Roll,be challenged through CV's dramas,see some high flying action with the BMX stunt team,and most importantly be presented with the gospel! So now that you have a little taste of what it is all about let me give you the top ten reasons why you should book a 3V,and they are in no particular order. 1. Seasoned principals said we have one of the best school assemblies they have ever seen. 2. You being responsible for bringing us in,will give you god re pore with the schools for future ministry events. 3. How often do you have a BMX stunt team come to your community. 4. through the school assemblies we will average being in front of 5,000-6,000 teens depending on size of community and schools. (which means that is 5,000 to 6,000 teens that will her about the event Wed. night) 5. Teens will then bring parents and brothers and sisters to the event. 6. 3V brings a community of churches together,working together with one common goal and purpose. Instead of everyman (church) for themself. 7. Each 3V we will average seeing 100 to 200 students responding to the gospel. (that is more in one night,that most youth ministries and churches see come to Christ in several years,not coming down...just being honest...check out Barna. 8. This event gets your current students in an evangelistic mindset of reaching their friends and family for Christ. 9. You got a multi-talented team that will draw students to come with their particular expertise. meaning: some will come for the BMX,other came for the music,others came for the drama, etc. 10. When it is all said and all done your investment changed the lives of hundreds of people! extra credit 11. It gets your whole church involved in the follow up of these teens, rather than it all falling on the overwhelmed youth pastor and leaders. 12. It develops lasting relationships with the 3V team 13. We like to sleep on floors at churches that have showers...so that keeps your housing cost down. 14. We offer Monday night evangelism training nights for your adults counselors and teens that will be helping out Wed. night. 15. With a 3 day event fuel cost included, a BMX team of 3, a drama team of 6, a band of 5, a sound production crew of 2,and lol...an occasional illusionist of 1. Our productin cost for 3 days is 10,000. So now you are thinking how do I pay for that? Good question. There are several ways. I was previously doing an interim youth pastor position for a church,and I booked a 3V for that community. I was able to pull of the event with a youth budget of $800. Basically,what I did was get a community of churches together. Cast the vision of the 3V tour to them. Then we had each church they came on board to be responsible for raising 1,000 of the total cost. If it is a real small church then try to do at least $500. Now lets just say you had 6 good size churches. (200-500...keep in mind my church had a little over a 100 and came up with the 1,000 rather easily) With six churches on board then you just raised $6,000. You are already over halfway there. Now schools are given funds by the government to bring in character building assemblies. The normal rate for an assembly is $500. So,lets say we did 8 schools. 8x5 is $4,000. Guess what you just raised all of the money. Now that is a perfect scenario I know...so what are the other ways Paul. Well one thing I did is I got businesses to sponsor the event. We would put their advertisement or logo on the video screen at the school assemblies and Wed. night event. You can set up a sponsor price sheet, like $300 to sponsor the school assemblies, and $500 to sponsor the whole thing. Places like McDonalds and Taco Bell, coca Cola, or even business owners at your church would be willing to sponsor. Guys hear my heart. I am not just trying to book us an event. I have a passion for teens and I have done a lot of ministry events over the years and this outreach strategy is by far the most effective thing I have ever done. Yeah. there is always a risk...but I believe the risk is God honoring and worth it! The only thing remains is do you see it the way that I do. I want to be able to say that I exhausted my time,my abilities,my resources of making a lasting impact in my community for Christ. Lots of cool stuff to update you on.
1. Keep us in prayer as we will be doing a mini tour in florida the last couple of weeks in May. We also may spend a day suffering for Jesus on the beach as well as an amusement park attractions,but only on our days off of course.
2. Then the first week of June we will be training up a missions team with Cv International,where they will be serving for one month over in the Philippines! So they will greatly covet your prayers.
3. Then CV will be traveling through the summer doing around 8 weeks of camps at various places across the nation! Pray for God's provision on travel,and the move of god in the hearts of teens.
4. The 3V tour is gaining strong momentum as the word is getting out about this community outreach event. We are starting to fill up 3V events for the fall. 5. We are also gearing up for several overseas trips with Cv International for 2010. We have now taylored these trips towards youth groups,where youth pastors and their students can go as a group and serve,as well as having college teams g as well. For youth groups we have partnerships with missionaries in Mexico,Dominican Republic,Philippines,Alaska, and other TBA...and for college teams we are looking at sending teams to Africa,Poland,Ukraine,Belarus,and the Philippines. This will all take place in June of 2010. For students it will be a two and a half week trip,for college students it will be a month long trip. We just got back from doing a 3V tour in Penn. (myspace.com/the3vtour) and it was AWESOME!! We saw 165 people come to Christ Wednesday night,in a high catholic and atheistic area! We had over 1200 in attendance. 3V is an incredible outreach that gets us in the public schools to do a high energy high impact character building message, and at the end we are able to invite them to the 3V tour concert that Wed. night. Which is usually held at a high school. 3V utilizes a BMX stunt team, a concert band, and a drama production team to bring about the gospel message to the community. In other news. Thank you to all who stepped up and helped us raise the funds to cover the bus repairs! What a HUGE blessing you are!! Hey guys,

We have some GOOD news!! The mechanic shop is able to recore our old radiator,which means it is going to be a lot cheaper. When he quoted me $3,000 he was guesstimating, when he found out how much a new one was plus shipping and labor it would have been over $4,000! Thankfully with the recore it is going to be $1925 plus labor. So to total what we need to raise to cover total cost is $2700. That includes our service cost for the bus,recoring, and rental costs of the penske truck that we had to take on our trip to Penn. instead of the bus.

I am proud to say that many of our friends have stepped up to the plate,and we were able to raise $1700!!! Thank you soooo much everybody for your generous contributions! Now we only have $1000 left to raise! So, if are any other cheerful givers out there that can help us raise the rest, we would absolutely be grateful! Remember everybody giving a little sure would help a lot!

We just found out that our bus needs a new radiator, which with the radiator parts and labor is going to total to be around $3,000. Here is the problem. We don't have the money. We have been struggling to stay afloat as is. We also need the bus back by Thursday to travel for an event that we have in Pennsylvania. So, we are asking for your support.
