This year I will be taking part in the GREAT STRIDES walk in Nashville,
TN to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I will be walking
with "Angel's Army," a group organized by my good friend Matt Sears in
memory of his wonderful wife Angel, who lost her battle with CF only a
few years ago.

Please visit my GREAT STRIDES page - http://www.cff.org/Great_S..trides/ClintTill
- in order to make a contribution to this worthwhile charity. My
personal goal is $300 and right now our team goal is $2000. I hope you
will help give hope to thousands affected by CF by sponsoring me in
this event.

Please pass the link around to your friends. Thanks.

Currently we're in pre-production on a short film entitled "If Only," and we're in need of some good locations. The premise of the film is a young woman who is trying to move on after being in an abusive relationship. So the tone of the film is going to be muted and somber. Here are some descriptions few locations I'm looking for. We'll be shooting here in Birmingham.

- THERAPIST'S OFFICE - Our main character is attending sessions with a hypnotherapist and I'd like the look of this space to be like a loft - open and free-spirited, comfortable, relaxing, with shelving areas where we could display books, credentials, etc. Perhaps a large window allowing a lot of daylight to come in.

- STREET SIDEWALK - In the film our main character leaves a restaurant and walks down the sidewalk toward her car, parked along the curb. This location should look urban, but not run-down. Perhaps light posts are situated along the street. Curbside parking. It should look as though there are restaurants, bars, etc. along the street, but it doesn't need to be such a hot spot where people are spilling into the street. Our character should still look somewhat isolated. There should be just a hint of danger

- HOUSE - Our main character lived with her boyfriend in a modest house. We're looking for one with a separate dining room. Although the house is modest, it shouldn't be falling apart. These characters have jobs and can pay their bills. We never see the exterior of the house - just the interior.

If you have any ideas/suggestions on these locations, please send your ideas (along with a few snapshots) to clint@ParcEntertainment.com.

Parc Entertainment, a full-service video production company in Birmingham, has earned a Silver Award at the 4th Annual Davey Awards. The winning entry was a promotional video for Tiffin Motorhomes highlighting their custom-built Powerglide chassis.

Lewis Communications, Tiffin's ad agency, hired Parc Entertainment to produce the video that takes the viewer through the process of building a motorhome chassis from start to finish.

"The final product was met with resounding approval when it debuted at a national dealer's meeting this past July," said Clint Till, President of Parc Entertainment. "That made us extremely proud, because we always strive to exceed the expectations of every client."

Tiffin Motorhomes will be using the final video on their website and in exhibitions at dealer shows throughout the country.

The Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and production companies worldwide. The competition is judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts. This year the Davey Awards received over 4,000 entries from across the US and around the world.

The new Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival commercial is airing on Fox6, Charter, and Bright House. I was brought on board as director of photography. Filament Artists produced and Sam McDavid directed. It's a great concept promoting "10 Years of Independents." Enjoy.

So without my express written consent, my wife Wendy signed me up for a Facebook account. I'm not sure what to do with it. I simply have too much stuff on the Internet to keep up with (MySpace profile, Parc Entertainment MySpace profile, my blog, my family blog, my Flickr page). It's really getting a bit ridiculous. I have a TON of friends that are on Facebook and I hear that people prefer Facebook to MySpace. That's all okay, I'm not posting here to start some debate about MySpace vs. Facebook. My dilemma here is this, "Do I really have the time to start up yet another web presence AND monitor it, AND update it regularly when I have so much other stuff going on?" So, should I continue on with Facebook or "take one dip and end it?" (that last one is for you Seinfeld fans).

Does anyone remember that song, "Africa?" That was classic. Anyway, I'm happy to report that my dad and nine others returned home today from an eight day mission trip to Tanzania, Africa. They spent this past week there studying with the locals and conducting nightly meetings. They even had the opportunity to go on a safari where they witnessed a lion killing a wildebeast.

My dad has certainly been on my mind the past few days and I'm thankful that those prayers for safety were answered. He definitely has a lot more courage than I do. I went on a mission effort to Guyana, South America in 2002, but I don't think I could travel as far as Tanzania.

Anyway, I had a weird dream last night that actually took place in Africa. Me, my mom, my dad, my brother, and one of our cousins were all in my dad's ski boat on an African river. The boat started taking on water, but we were able to bail it out and get the engine cranked. However, we left my brother and cousin floating there in the water and took off without them. A little while later we once again experienced engine trouble. As we were working to get the boat cranked, here comes my brother and cousin working their way up the river toward us. Both of them had huge logs strapped to their feet. Ropes ran from the logs to their hands and they were "walking" up the river toward us with thes huge logs keeping them afloat. Then a large crocodile slipped into the water and started coming after us, but fortunately he never got us. Whew.

Wow, it's been a while since I posted here. So many things going on. Lately I've been having weird sensations in the left side of my body, like aches and pains in my shoulder and forearm. I'm also experiencing tingling sensations in my fingertips and toes, like they're going to sleep. Other times the left side of my body feels warm, or heavy. I have to be honest -- I'm concerned about my heart.

I'm not sure what's causing all of these feelings. It could simply be a case of anxiety -- a fear of death. Since my little boy was born, I've been having episodes of anxiety. I'm greatly afraid of dying young and leaving him without a father. I don't want to miss out on being a husband and father. I want to live to see my grandkids grow up into adulthood. The reality of my own mortality really hit home after my best friend lost his wife last year leaving their 3 year-old son without his mom. Maybe his experiences are weighing on my mind.

These sensations could also be because there really IS something wrong with my heart, but only a few months ago I had some blood work done and an EKG and everything came back normal. Still, I'm planning on going to the doctor tomorrow to tell him about it. Better safe than sorry. I just hope that my life doesn't become consumed with worry because of all the responsibilities now facing me as a father. Maybe I need therapy.

They say that life's little annoyances always come in three's. I think the guy in the "irritations department" is routing all deliveries to my house, because I just can't seem to catch a break. Wendy and I are working hard to build up our savings, you know, putting away a little each month in case we need something to fall back on. But lately we can't seem to get our heads above water. The most recent problem is our AC. It's out. And it's hot in my house. And I'm concerned for my little four month-old son. And of course I'm concerned about my checking account. Oh well, as Abraham Lincoln said, "Sometimes I have to laugh or I would cry."
