So I just now got back from watching the new Michael Moore movie, "SICKO" and let me tell you how frustrated I am at this moment. I am so ENRAGED with what I have learned about "AMERICA THE GREAT." I am outraged with how our system works. Before I continue, I just want to urge EVERYONE out there on my friends list to PLEASE go watch this movie, "SICKO." PLEASE WATCH IT! This is one movie that could make such a HUGE difference in our country and in turn could end up being a very positive domino affect, if we all decided to come together and stand up for our rights! There is poverty everywhere, yes, however that could easily be fixed if we can start with one small problem.
After watching this movie I am left feeling INFURIATED with the American Government. The United States of America is the richest country in the world so can someone please tell me why we have the WORST system for healthcare??? Why is it that we are the only country without National Healthcare? This problem could easily be fixed, and if a less enriched country such as CUBA can offer free healthcare and services for the people there.....why are we not able to do that here in America???? Why do we throw the sick and the poor out on the streets because they can't afford healthcare or do not "qualify" for it? We are talking about saving people's lives here with such a small thing. I pay taxes....we all pay taxes but where is all this tax money going? This is such a rich country yet we are the WORST at taking care of one another. Don't you find it a bit bizarre that people have to PAY to go to college to get an education???? Why do students have to pay to get a better future that will in turn lead them into giving back to our community? Instead they get caught up in years of debt, hence leaving them in the rat race cycle of neverending work in order to pay off debt....not leaving much room for leisure.
Gee, I wonder why so many Americans suffer from Anxiety Disorders, heart attacks, high blood pressure, strokes...etc..etc...well look at our environments and communities. Look at the way people have to live with all the stress of paying bills and government not doing much to help us....but what enrages me most is that we all just sit here and ignore what is happening. The fact that we all sit here and complain, yet nobody stands up and tries to get together and do something about it. Change the way things work around here. Oh that's right...there's more important things goingo n in this world like Paris Hilton getting out of jail!!! That is what truly enrages me. So I COMMEND Michael Moore for putting together such compelling documents to help open up our eyes....to kill our ignorance and I commend him for trying to make a difference in this world. Speaking of this world.....what IS this world coming to??? Larry King.....Larry King boots off Michael Moore, a man who is actually doing something to change the world, to have Paris fucking Hilton on his interview instead????????? Asking such newsworthy questions such as "So Paris, what did you eat while you were in jail?"""
Seriously....WHO GIVES A FUCKING SHIT! Who gives a fucking shit about Paris Hilton and what she ate in jail!!!!!! There are people out there around the world starving and dying and living in poverty, and there are a million things we can do to help raise awareness about this to help heal this world....yet our society stoops as low as doing a "PARIS HILTON" interview instead??????? I am outraged and saddened by the state of our society these days. I vow to try to do as much as I can to help change this world somehow...to give back. I vow to dedicate my life to helping as many people as I can until the day that I die. My life is not worth living if I lived it in vain. I promise you....I will do a lot to give back to our world. That is what fills me up the most and that to me is living my life to the fullest.
Sincerely, Jess
PS-Amendment II "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." Ok so this means that if the Government is corrupt, then we the people, have the RIGHT to overthrow the Government. They work FOR US....not vice versa!!! But I guess people in our generation are sadly sitting around on their asses and not taking a stand!!!!! Gone are the days of REVOLUTION! Let's bring power back to our people! PPS-Did you know that the biggest contributor to GLOBAL WARMING is...yep...you guessed it...AMERICA!!! And I DO NOT HATE AMERICA, however I highly disagree with how the Government is run. I love America and the people here. We are the compassionate ones. Not the Government.

Wow this is crazy! Finally....the voices in America has been heard! We all want to stop the war in Iraq and bring our troops back home safe and sound. The Democrats are doing all they can to bring back our troops and end this stupid war, but unfortunately, our PRESIDENT George W. Bush recently vetoed a supplement bill that was passed by congress to BRING BACK OUR TROOPS SAFETLY AND END THIS WAR!.....Yes, believe it or not...congress passed that bill, but George Bush DENIED it! That means he is denying what the American people want, and even denying the congress. WOW! What kind of a respectable President is that? People voted for him because they thought he was supposed to be here to protect us and serve us. He was supposed to be our "Hero" but instead he is wrongfully using his power. Did you guys know that we are spending 12 BILLION DOLLARS A MONTH just because of this war??? I mean seriously.....12 billion dollars a month! Do you know how many lives we can save with that kind of money? With 12 billion dollars a month we can help end world hunger and do A LOT for this country, but instead....the President chooses to spend that money killing people in Iraq as well as our American Troops....all because he has a fucking ego! Well done........Well done indeed if your goal was to end our world a little faster. Let's all make sure we vote for the RIGHT President in the near future and impeach our current one. We all make mistakes and learn from them, but unfortunately, Bush will continue to make mistakes without remorse.
PS-If you idiots think that we can't leave now because we have to finish what we started, think again. With 12 billion dollars I am sure that is more than enough money for damage control! You want them to finish what "we" started and let our troops die in vain over there...then may God Bless You! War is not the answer and there is nothing to "FINISH" over there. Children are dying over there, people die everyday! Just last night 150 people in Iraq died because of a bomb.....will you tell me for what??? Is this making our Country better now?? PPS-Anyway...they are now having discussions on the news about impeaching Bush....for that to even be a topic now in the news....it is saying A LOT!
Watch it if you're bored...just watch it anyways. I want to write a blog about "regrets"....I want to know if any of you out there have done something in the past that you now regret??? I mean, you don't have to necessarily regret these things, however upon thinking about them, it just makes you cringe. I am sure that most of you, if not all, has done SOMETHING from the past that you all wish you could just bury it away somewhere where nobody will ever find it. Well guess what??? You should feel thankful because all is forgiven. If you even feel the slightest remorse for whatever it is that you did in your past, that alone says a lot about your character today. So fear not, what you have done in your past. Regret should not even be existing in your world, for without mistakes, how else would you choose the "right" path??
On the other hand, how would you feel if something you did 7 years ago, people today are still condemning you for it??? It's pretty shitty right? RIGHT! Well my point of this whole blog is because I know that we all have a past. People should not be judged from their past, but who they have grown into TODAY! So whatever and whomever, some people out there who like to judge me from my past.....you know what I say to you? Back then, hell, even a year ago I would have said to you, "FUCK OFF! IF YOU DON'T LIKE ME...EAT A DICK BITCH!"
But today....I would say to those who try to judge and condemn me for my past, "I wish you well in your own path to self-discovery and to your pursuit of happiness"
I am tired of negative things, people, and all things alike. In order to keep the negative things out of my life....I have to look at myself in the mirror and start there. In order to rid myself of all things negative, I must start from within myself. I guess that's all I wanted to say....for the time being at least.....hehe....

You know what? I'm stressed out. Really. I don't even give a fuck if anybody reads this or not but I need to tell something--or someone--things without them having some sort of advantage over me, so I've come back to my bloggie. At first, you know when you first "fall in love" everything is so perfect and untainted. Then the daily grind sets in and you see that you were in some crazy desperate state of mind to even say hey to the person. Then your priorities get messed up and the people you like the most end up always getting left out. It's like I'm always trying to make somebody happy. And whenever I make a group of people happy, somebody always gets left out. I'm afraid that I'm disappointing the wrong person, over and over and over again. Not once, not twice probably not even ten times. I want that person to know what I truly feel about them. They probably don't know how much I love them since I don't show it much. But if you're reading this. You know who you are. I love you with everything I have. I'm sorry for everything. And I got stressed out yesterday because of some parental problems and I left you alone..again. That I shouldn't have done.
Until Then, Jess

As you know, I am a HUGE fan of Matt Hardy. In a recent blog of his, I see he has "began" his "Quest to be the Best". To me, Matt has already started that Quest. Anybody who watches Matt perform cannot deny that he puts his all out there. He works toward his dreams and doesn't mind doing exactly that. You can see the passion and heart he has for the business, he's not just there to be on TV or to get a paycheck. He's there for the fans. Matt has done alot before and undeniably will do more in the future. His work ethic is at a point that I would call "near pearfection" if it isn't perfection already. Yes, Matt is consummate with his brother, Jeff, but personally, I have always believed that Matthew can, and will, sooner than later, take it to another level, with or without Jeff. When some body goes out there and busts their ass each and every day as much as he does, you can say that his Quest to be the Best is guaranteed to have success in its future. One of the most essential things that I believe will lead Matt undoubtedly lead Matt to gold is the fact that he never stops working at his dreams. He never lets anything get in his way and if something does get in his way, he most likely will always channel that anger or frustration into positive energy. The ability to not be set off track by outside interferences is something that few have and many want. After this, I do not know what to say. What Matt does is so great it's indescribable. I do know one more thing for sure. Matt has IT. He has something that only a handful of Superstars have had and do have right now. He has that ability to just walk out on stage and demand the attention of a crowd without even saying a thing. He has that strong personality, great appearance , and he's so much of a people-person. He's well-rounded. He has that drive, that determination and confidence in himself that will push him there. You have seen all of Matt's wins, and losses. And after every match, even if he lost, he sucks it up, and puts on an even better match the next week. I have never had the chance to meet him in person but even reading his blogs or watching thehardyshow.com (pluggin much? lol) I can obviously see how huge his heart is and how much he just loves every second if life. Without that philosophy, nobody will get anywhere. You just have to dive head first into life and hope for the best sometimes. And win, lose, or draw--we ALL love you Matt. And I'm cheering for you forever. Even if I don't win the contest, I still hope this touched you(as many others will) and let you know how much we really do appreciate you sharing parts of your life with us on and off the pro wrestling stage.
P.S.S.S.Vote for Champain at ilovenewyork2.com!! Woot! Woot! Lolz.. :)

I neglect you when I'm working When I need attention I tend to nag I'm a host of imperfection And you see past all that I'm a peasant by some standards But in your eyes I'm a queen You see potential in all my flaws and that's exactly what I mean.

So anyways, I'm here chillin' after a class in the Lounge @ UConn. Go Huskies, go!! hehe. Anyways, I just had an itch to write about two things I'm lovin' right now. I'm lovin' Itchweeed, 'cause he's so fine!! (For y'all that didn't know, Itchweeed is a character of Jeff Hardy's Imag-I-Nation.) Anyhow, I got a video of him on my profile, and it just shows how unique he is. He's like a whole different person, You know what, from now on my "About Me" section, won't be just "about myself". I'm gonna travel through MySpace pages, looking for anything original, funny, inspirational, crazy, unique, special, outstanding, thoughtful, or something that just makes me think, and I'm going to broadcast that person and their "About Me" section or Blogs, on my "About Me" section so everyone can see. Great Idea, I think. So the first person to go through this experiment would have to be my man, Itchweeed. So check out my page every week Mon. because I'll have a new person and "About Me" or blog, up there. And since there are a couple million people here on MySpace, I won't be able to see ALL pages, of course, so if you want me to check yours out just MSG meor put pu a bulletin with the subject "Vote Me 4 About Me" and I'll check it out.
Moving on to another fav'rite, Happy Bunny. I'm just going to post some things up here randomly from the "it's happy bunny™ The Good, The Bad, and the Bunny" book.
QUIZ TIME!
-Do you know the difference between right and wrong?? [ ]A. Yes [ ]B. No
Answer: If you did know, you wouldn't have to read the answer before you answered the question, like the big cheater you are.
Since you don't know the difference, maybe we can at least pretend that you do. Because faking it is a great way to show that you care enough to lie.
Have a look at this example: Let's say you hold a door open for somebody and they walk through with out saying thank you.
The Good Thing To Do: Don't worry about it. You didn't hold the door open to get a thank you. That would be selfish.
The Bad Thing To Do: Slam their head in the door over and over and over and over.
The Bunny Thing To Do: Tell them you saw them drop some money outside. When they go back out to find it, lock the door.
I know what you're thinking: Are you SURE it's not the slamming one?
Okay, the slamming one is pretty good.
Yeah that was an excerpt from The Good, The Bad, and The Bunny , which I love!! It also gives me relationship advice in the previously released book, Love Bites.

I am so sorry about the victims and their families in the Va. Tech massacre. We all have to understand that it could have been any one of us in the same position as the victims. There is one especially I want to point out. Professor Liviu Librescu, whom held the door shut so his students could hide or try to escape. He died a hero, and I honor what he did in a time of panic. God Bless You All. The moment of silence is 4/20/2007 at 12 Noon. In order to honor the 32 victims in the massacre, you may try to wear any Va. Tech clothing you have or the Va. Tech colors: Maroon(Burgundy is close enough) and Orange.

Just bored...bored..bored..bored out of my mind. The text is bright green so I can barely see what I'm writing. I feel so weird posting a blog up here, I wonder if anybody actually reads it and stuff. I'm reading these two awesome books one is called "Doing It" and another I just started called "South Beach". I'm such a nerd..I x3 books. lol. Anyways, I've been doing good, restlessly. I'm heading down to South Beach for Spring Break with my crew. It's gonna be hot. Hot sand, hotter beaches, and even hotter guys. lol. I'm gonna be careful though. I'm the designated driver for the trip. No getting tipsy for me. hehe. Not that there would be anyways. Listening to my new favorite band and song-"Hey There Delilah" by Plain White Ts. Three Days Grace is in second place now. Sorry. This morning I was cracking up. There was this older guy running in toddler's pull-ups. That was funny. And strange. And weird. But mostly funny. Ah, good times. I have found this interesting passion in wrestling, I specifically have my eye on Matt and Jeff Hardy. The Hardy Boyz, excuse me, I mean the Hardys. They're not boys anymore, I guess. Has anybody bought a Plain White Ts CD before?? If you have or know if it's in stores or not message me. Okay? Hmm...I got a new tatoo guys!! A half moon, half sun. On my calf. It's so uber sexy!! lol. I've been completely obsessed with the song "The Suffering" by Aiden lately. I know those guys pretty well, and hearing this song off their album EP Rain in Hell, which was released Halloween 2006, well, it gave me chills. I've always been a fan of Aiden, and its first two albums, Our Gangs Dark Oath and Nightmare Anatomy, contain some of my favorite songs. Anyway, after hearing "The Suffering," it's just so apparent the band has grown to a new level. But Aiden hasn't strayed too far from its original style which catapulted it into an underground fan-following, leading up to many successful tours and album sales. I just dig this song. I'd really like you guys to listen to it and let me know what you think. I think it'd be fun. +44's debut album was released Nov. 14. In my opinion, the band will most likely have a strong carryover of fans as two of the members came from the Blink 182 trio (one of my personal favorites). They got me that way at least. Hehe! When Your Heart Stops Beating is a combination of punk, pop and synth rock. I totally dig it, and recommend checking it out. I have been waiting for the culmination of this project since Blink broke up and there was talk of Travis Barker (drummer of both bands) creating a new band with a female singer. Well, needless to say, female punk rock vocalist Carol Heller dropped off the project, and the band is now comprised of Mark Hoppus (in my opinion one of the more interesting humans on this planet), Shane Gallagher and Craig Fairbaugh (who was also the touring guitarist for Barker's other project, The Transplants). Give it a listen… The other night a few of the guys and me were on the road in a packed-out, sweet minivan (ha). I fell asleep, my face pressed against the window, while listening to Bury Your Dead or Darkest Hour or something similar blasting through the iPod. My brother's friend, Shannon joked that I'm the only person who falls asleep listening to death metal. Haha. I told him it relaxes me for some reason, especially on a plane or car ride. Speaking of Bury Your Dead, the singer just left the band! Just like that. They had a tour coming up with Killswitch Engage and the Haunted, and it's done. They're off the tour and the band is now auditioning new singers to take Mat's place as the front man. Maybe I should try out? Or you? Hehehe. Anyway, my favorite Darkest Hour song is "Pay Phones and Pills" off the album Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation. My fave Bury Your Dead track is probably "Mirror, Mirror" off of Beauty and the Breakdown. I dig that whole album a lot. Damn shame the kid's leaving the biz. He says he wants to go back to college, become a teacher and marry his girlfriend. Respectable goals, I suppose. Okay so when I was a kid, I was absolutely head-over-heels in love with Rage Against the Machine. I never missed a show in the tri-state area, and was a firm believer in everything Zack de la Rocha preached. I think I dug the band so much because there were strong political opinions in every song, and de la Rocha was so passionate about his causes. Rage always had literature of whatever cause de la Rocha was standing behind, and the band opened my wide 15-year-old eyes to the harsh realities of the hardships other people endured across the globe. I immediately fell for them and have been a lifelong fan ever since. De la Rocha allowed me to take an active political role in causes I probably wouldn't have been aware of had it not been for him. After listening to Trivium's latest album, The Crusade, I've realized part of the reason I'm liking it so much is because I see a little bit of Rage in it. Trivium's songs have meaning and purpose, which rules. When a band has a combination of solid tunes and songs with profound lyrics, that's just what gets me. I love The Crusade and recommend you check it out. So Amy, an aquaintance of mine, had her farewell from Georgia in January.. And now, Amy Dumas will be the front woman of her band, The Luchagors. It's comprised of drummer Troy, guitarist Shane and bassist Jake. So let's get to it already, Amy's first exclusive interview about The Luchagors: Alexis: How did the idea for The Luchagors start? Amy: Basically these friends I know called my bluff on saying I wanted to be in a band for a million years, threw me in a practice space and put a mic in front of me. Alexis: How did you come up with the name "The Luchagors"? Amy: Our bass player, Jake, is kinda silly, and after about 100 names that we were like, "Okay, just stop." I'd get texts randomly throughout the night until he came up with The Luchagors, with a "just kidding" afterward. I was like, "No, I like that." It is a combination of two words: "Lucha," meaning fighting, and "gors," like horror movies, which I've been a fan of my whole life. Alexis: What are some of your musical influences? Amy: 7 seconds, The Misfits, Descendents, Lunachicks, Juliette and the Licks. The drummer and the guitar player are big metal fans, so that kinda creeps in there, too. Jake… we won't even talk about his music taste. Shaq has some rap CD and he likes to play it, which he thinks is funny, but it is for 30 seconds, not the whole CD. Alexis: What's up with the makeup? Amy: Those pictures (on our MySpace site) are from our Halloween show we played where we all dressed up as skeletons. It's not something we plan on doing every show, but it was for Halloween. Shane, our guitar player, has done special effects on horror films, so we were all victims of his that night. Alexis: When can we catch you on tour or hear your music? Amy: Our stuff is available now on our MySpace, which is myspace.com/theluchagors13. I don't think Troy's ever even turned on a computer, but Shane, Jake and I are the only ones running it. We don't have anyone managing it or whatever, so you know it's us. Right now we have had two shows booked in Atlanta, one with the Bouncing Souls and the Circle Jerks. We have recorded a full length CD and are tour with that in the later spring. Thanks for the interview, Amy. Good luck with everything. You're gonna do great. Well, you know I always give you one of your fave Superstar's musical tastes at the end of each Bangin' and well, I decided who better than Lita to complement her interview above so here goes… My most listened to song in my iPod is "Luxury Problem" by Lunachicks. My fave CD to relax to is Esquivel's Other Worlds, Other Sounds, Best of Elvis or any CD from the Ultra Lounge especially, Spacecapades. "A CD you would not expect me to own is Outkast's Speakerboxx and The Love Below double album. (I'm a huge Andre 3000 mark.)" So there you have it. That about wraps things up. Next time, I'll have another interview from a band that's doing awesome for themselves right now, and another look into my awesomely, weirdly, strangely, enigmatic world. Catch ya later punks. Diva.... in the dictionary the definition of a Diva is: a distinguished female singer; prima donna. Now it can also be said that a Diva is a distinguished WWE female Superstar. People call me a Diva because they see me as a temperamental, impatient and conceited woman. Say what you will, but I am a True Diva in every sense of the word. What makes me a True Diva, unlike the other so- called wannabe Divas in the world? Well, let me tell you. Creativity. Poise. Always evolving and staying true to myself. I have IT. I am a striking woman who is strong, independent, talented and will not settle for less than my worth. When I enter a room you will notice me. Being the True Diva that I am, women hate me and men love me. With that said, whether you love me or hate me, you can't help but watch me. Please! To tell me I am temperamental, impatient and conceited is an ignorant comment to make. You don't know me. You don't know my life, where I've been, what I've seen or what I've gone through. I feel strongly about what I believe in. When someone does something blatantly stupid should I just put up with it? I'm sorry if I'm passionate about life and what I believe in, but there are certain things I will not put up with. Why is being proud of what I can do and what I've accomplished considered being conceited? Take this guy I was seeing for example. It was a date with him and myself, and for some extremely stupid reason posters of this girl Maria(that was the caption under the picture) were up on the wall… at MY date with him! WHY? He was coming to see ME … not Maria. Why should she get her face seen by MY date? He doesn't care about her! So should I just put up with someone's incredibly brainless oversight? Should I have to sit there for two hours staring at her gangly Kate Moss wannabe busted ass? NO WAY! So I touched up all her pictures as I saw fit, and if I had a bigger marker I would have done more. I did what I could. Call me a prima donna? I just don't settle for less, I get what I want the way I want. A True Diva, AlexIs
